The Mulia has exceeded our expectations in the best way possible, in more ways than I can express in this review.

The package included daily buffet breakfast at The Café or the Lounge, daily afternoon tea at The Lounge 4-6pm, $100 AUD for lunch/dinner at selected restaurants, 1 free buffet dinner at The Cafè and 1 free buffet dinner at Table 8 for 5 nights.

Book The Mulia if you don’t plan on going outside Nusa Dua and you want the ultimate Heaven on Earth experience.

Food:
The Cafè offered a wide selection of cuisines during breakfast and dinner. You can choose from western, Indian, Indonesian, Chinese, Korean and Japanese options. The desserts ranged from croissants, gelato, crepes, cakes, cupcakes, fruit and so much more.
The buffet breakfast is what I looked forward to every day! Everything was scrumptious and everything was fresh. You have to pace yourself so you can taste everything! Nothing could disappoint! They walk around with coffee and tea but also offer your typical latte and cappuccinos and milk selections.
The buffet dinner was equally the same which also included seafood and live pasta cooking.
If it’s busy, the service isn’t always one on one but that’s not what you want when all you want to do is eat and eat!

The breakfast at The Lounge has a semi buffet option but allows for one on one service from an A La Carte menu. If you prefer being seated the whole time with one on one service in the morning then this is the place for breakfast! Otherwise, get some steps in you and do the buffet breakfast for a wider range.
The afternoon tea at The Lounge has a beautiful concept of high tea and daily live cooking that included smalls bowls of ramen, burritos and churros etc. The high tea was a choice between Indonesian and Western, please try both! I preferred the Indonesian high tea over the Western one due to range of flavour and texture. The chocolate cake in the Western though tasted amazing!

Table 8 offered clay pot selections, live stir fries of your choice, soups, the best fried rice I’ve ever tasted and a small selection of desserts like fruits and gelato.
I didn’t feel like doing my steps that night so Monika provided us a range of dishes, paying utmost attention to dietary requirements.
It’s best to choose times around 7.30-8pm or later if you prefer to avoid peak times and indulge on one on one service in a relaxed environment.
Thank you Monika for having us, your service was friendly, kind and a delight.

Soleil offers a wide range of food at reasonable prices!
There’s a lovely view of the pool and the beach. We ate here many times for lunch and loved the mixture of flavours!
They also offered a Sunday brunch, including seafood for $90 - worth every buck!

Environment:
The landscape is made up of lush greenery that expands over many acres of land that’s well maintained.
Due to the size of the resort you require a buggy to travel between areas allowing you to see the workers trimming and mowing to keep the garden pristine. Make sure you get a tour from your butler as soon as you get there so you can fully appreciate the beauty. They offer five pools! Depending where you stay, you can visit all five or stay in the main pool. All five are beautiful! But the vibe in front of Soleil was the best!

Suites:
There is more marble than wood in the rooms to create an elegant and luxurious design. The pillows were almost my size, the king bed wasn’t two beds squashed together and they didn’t have useless sheets - they had a quilt! It was all soft and buttery as if you were sleeping on a clouds.
They provided a replenishment of fruit, milk and coffee.
The toilet seats automatically open with a bidet and the raining shower head (with back jets) was exquisite!
The room was absolutely stunning and it’s the most fanciest room we’ve ever stayed in!

Spa:
The spa was sublime - expensive but worth it. Do the Wellness Suite for an hour! It included a sauna, infrared steam room and a cryotherapy room. I also did an Asian Blend massage that was relaxing and precise and worth more than three cheap massages combined.

Service:
The service was incredibly friendly and attentive - however the Mulia Suites Team was absolutely faultless.
Throughout the day we were greeted by different people, but they all knew who we were and what we were up to. “How was your breakfast?” “How was your massage?” “How was your dinner?” To some it might be overkill, but the attention to detail to their guests was incredible and out of this world! To feel familiar and welcomed through out our whole stay was important and felt more so when I felt ill one day. The staff continually asked if I was okay and provided tea to the room, during lunch and during dinner depending where I was eating.

I want to specially thank Debi, Amellia, Adi, Edy, Gibran and Faisal for their exceptional service and making our stay a memorable one.

We booked via Agoda and stayed for 2 nights after a straight forward check in. The resort is absolutely stunning with well manicured gardens in a fantastic beach front setting.
Initially, it took some time to get our head around where all facilities were, as the place is huge, but in the end we found that, from a structural point of view, the resort is very well thought off with a fantastic layout.
The are several swimming pools, however, we spend both days on the beach. Initially we were a bit surprise with it, as lots of plastic floating around in the water, as well as, algae’s. However, after strolling around the beach strip to the other side of Nusa Dua, we realised that, actually, Mulia has one of the cleanest beaches around the area and that the staff works hard to keep the beach pristine.
Our room, a standard one, was incredibly large with an amazing luxurious bathroom. Air con was silent, and complementary water bottles as well as toiletries, were much welcomed. A downside we found was that there was a lot of information leaflets and warnings around the room, and in the current day and age, the resort should look into being more eco friendly and avoid unnecessary paper, electricity and plastic usage.
Staff was super friendly and always around to help with any issue. Breakfast was out of this world, with so many options, all of them of top notch quality. In one morning we ate easily 50£ worth of sashimi each, and it was delicious. They have several options of different coffees and fresh juices.
We had dinner at table 8, Chinese restaurant, and we were treated like royalty. The menu was completely different from our usual Chinese place, and I really enjoyed the quality of the food, which supports the slightly expensive prices. We were disappointed to find out that the Japanese restaurant was closed throughout our stay and nobody really knew why?! However, we tried a restaurant outside Mulia, which was an easy 2 min walking following the right side of the beach and it was superb.
Overall and otherwise, this resort is one of the most luxurious ones we have ever been and you definitely get your money’s worth. I would easily come back here in a heartbeat to receive the high end

This is hands down the best experience in a hotel we’ve ever had. From check-in to check-out they took care of us.

Our butlers Yogi and Yudi were outstanding! They let us keep our privacy while still being there for us when we needed them and more. The director of rooms, Ms. Mina Gong was very sweet to welcome us during checkin and was also always available for us to contact Incase we needed anything.

We had a slight problem with a Boquet I ordered to be in our room when we check in. I ordered it last minute and on the website it said to reserve 7 days earlier, but they still went on and processed my order to the best they can and when there was a problem they took care of it without me asking/complaining.

The afternoon tea was Amazing!!!! The servers were great, Anton and the others were very friendly. They were always attentive to when our drink was almost finished and would ask us if we wanted another. The view in The lounge is so beautiful, the food and drinks were great!!

The mulia pool is gorgeous, I’ll attach some pics here but being there is really something different. Just sitting poolside drinking tea/cocktails by the pool was so relaxing. The server there, I forgot his name, was also very nice.

The beach is beautiful, but there were lots of seaweed during the our stay. We did not swim at all but we stayed by their lounge chairs just to relax and have some drinks. (You can bring your drinks/order during afternoon tea in the beach).

The room was also perfect, we had the baron beach front suite. The bed was soooooo comfortable I loved it so much. The toilets were also high tech, it would open and flush by itself and was also heated.the feel of the room was grand, and we felt like royalty staying in the room.

Overall, the best thing about this hotel is the service. They treat you like family and take care and pamper you during your stay. I would like to again, thank everyone In the mulia for making our stay memorable. We’ve stayed in other nice hotels all over the world like ayana, padma, marina bay sands, grand Wyndham phuket but I can confidently say Mulia is our favorite. We will be back for sure!

This was a fantastic experience for my wife and I. It was the perfect honeymoon for us. My wife isn't much of a swimmer thus we chose this location instead of Maldives or Hawaii or other popular destinations. I do not regret this decision in the slightest and would still choose this over going to maldives or hawaii any day. I did lots of swimming at both the peaceful beach and the amazing swimming pools. It was fantastic and I highly recommend it. The gym is incredible for a hotel gym, all the equipment is new, the range of equipment was great and feels like going to a new modern completely fitted local gym with all the amenities and more. Staff there were very accommodating too.
The hotel lives up to its reputation and the staff are amazing overall. The airport transport service is incredible makes you feel like a VIP. All of the butlers provided service that was above and beyond (Agus and Yuni were both exceptional for us). The in-room dining staff and the food selection was great as well. Breakfast and afternoon tea were both incredible at the Lounge, (Pande and Gusman provided great service and are memorable, there were others as well). Food was fancy, think lots of fine dining. Having the cafe as a secondary choice for buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner also made things interesting and we never got bored. I highly recommed the deserts as they all tasted as if they have a world class patissier running the kitchen. Solei for Sunday brunch was world class as well and dinner there is also very good.
We also did the couples massage session at the mulia spa twice and that too was worth the money and was an incredible experience for us. They even provide a private steamroom, sauna and iceroom for couples prior to the message session.
All of the rooms at the mulia are good and give off a feeling luxury especially the huge bathroom. We were lucky enough to secure a beach front on the third floor up with our private jacuzzi on the balcony. It was worth every dollar spent. Laundry service has a cost but after you get it done you realise why it cost what it does, clothes comes back packaged nicely as if they're presenting you with new clothes and comes back in a quick timeframe even without the express service. I recommend using the laundry service it is worthwhile.
We had a great time and was able to organise a private charter (our own driver) to escort us and show us the real bali and go shopping too at popular destinations on the island.
We highly recommend the mulia and would visit again for sure. It is good for both couples or families.
Thank you to all the staff at the mulia for your great service and ensuring that we had a good stay!

My husband and I spent 9 nights at The Mulia in a beach facing suite.

I don’t know where to start to describe the incredible time we had here. The suites are spacious and decked out and the ends are comfortable. The balcony is large with a jacuzzi. Bath faces the ocean and the showers can fit a whole family with great water pressure.

The grounds and facilities are 10/10 for cleanliness, manicured gardens, pools, gym, private cabanas, spa and not to mention the stunning function areas.

Special mention to Agus, Debie and Andreas who helped us with any of our needs during our stay and ensured everything was seamless.
The pool bar staff were so awesome. Listra and MuliaSantana gave us special attention.
We celebrated our 6 year anniversary in the our stay as well which my husband with the help of Andreas and staff set up a private dinner on the pier which was an immaculate evening. From food, music and service.
Special mention to each and every single staff member who passes by with a smile from the gardeners, security, housekeeping, waiters at breakfast, shop assistants in the deli and store. Adam the manager is very hospitable he is always present mingling with guests and his attention to each guest making them feel special.
Food was incredible at breakfast, lunch and dinner and in room dining was great. We had a private dinner on NYE on our balcony to watch the fireworks which they set up so nicely.
We cannot recommend this place enough.

We were fortunate to stay in a 1 bedroom villa at the Mulia and it was an experience that we will never forget. We were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary and the staff ensured that the occasion was acknowledged and celebrated.
We were welcomed by the concierge in the magnificent lobby which overlooked the resort. The staff ensured that the occasion was acknowledged and celebrated. When we arrived at the entrance to our villa they had written Happy 25th Wedding Anniversary in the pebbles which was a wonderful welcome. Our Butler showed us around the villa and settled us in, he then reappeared with a beautiful celebratory cake to mark our special occasion. That evening when we returned from dinner we found that the Butler had run us a bubble bath in the jacuzzi and left a little note saying please enjoy your jacuzzi.
The villa is very spacious, the building and the magnificent gardens surrounding is about 500 m2 The gardens insure that privacy is maintained whilst sunbaking besides the pool.
The furnishings both inside and outside the villa were very comfortable and of a high standard. Our butlers were extremely attentive when contacted and always greeted us with a smile. The whole resort is tastefully decorated and extremely well maintained. The buildings, although 12 years old, have not dated at all. The gardens are stunning and provide a relaxing backdrop around the resort. The many pools that are available around the resort always appeared clean and well maintained and the staff were very pleased to greet any guests and were more than willing to take photographs if requested.
The food was of a very high standard and afternoon tea with fee flowing cocktails was extremely popular!! The restaurants offered varied cuisines and were always clean and service was extremely good.
The spa was incredible. The building was light and airy and I felt immediately relaxed when I entered it. The massage that I received was one of the best I've ever had, thank goodness the butler came in the buggy to take me back to the villa!!
The 5 days we spent at The Mulia was perfect and I can’t wait to return again.

Where do I start on such a fantastic hotel and overall experience during Christmas/Holidays break?

My wife and I live in and run a few businesses in Bali. Our yearly international travel plans evaporated when covid hit, we decided to start exploring a few hotels & resorts around our area. Over the years we've had the good luck & opportunity to stay in some of the best hotels around Asia, Australasia and Europe however we’re thrilled to have discovered one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at is actually in our own backyard.

If you're a foodie, I can't recommend this hotel enough! The only word I can use to describe all their food's quality and authenticity is simply outstanding. The most impressive part for us is despite the unfortunately low number of guests covid has caused, the standards have remained extremely high. The food at both The Café, Soleil, and Room Service has consistently been fresh and made from scratch with a flawless presentation during all our stays.

Since this was our 3rd or 4th stay, some of The Mulia team had gotten to know us, but one of the most thoughtful touches was casually noting some of our preferences from previous stays. There was a particular wine & beer we really enjoyed on previous stays which had been difficult to stock (due to covid) But what a pleasant surprise it was when the waiter offered our these to us despite them not being on the menu. These subtle yet smooth touches really make an impression, and I believe a reflection of a very well trained team.

After a long lazy day by the pool cabanas, there is nothing more comfortable than making our way back to the immaculately plush room and enjoying the evening with some room service on the balcony.

I want to thank all the staff & team that made our trips so memorable, Timotheus at the cafe, Maru at the beach bar, Adhi the lifeguard to note a few and also Adam, the hotel manager for really going out of his way to greet us and effortlessly adding the small touches that made this one of our most memorable holidays.

We can't wait to stay again in the coming months.

My husband and I just finished a 2 night stay here and absolutely loved it. Everyone seems to have their favorite spot in Bali and we found the one resort we will recommend strongly.

We stayed at “The Mulia” in The Baron Suite with jacuzzi on the balcony. The room was huge and bathroom just as big with two sinks, separate toilet, shower and a soaking tub. The king size bed was very comfortable and we spent hours on the patio watching a rain storm. The jacuzzi was warm from early morning to 11pm and if we wanted it turned on later at night, we just had to make our wish known. The jacuzzi was the perfect size for two people.

The butler service was an amazing touch and we will forever remember the hospitality from Wijaya and Gusti. They made our stay extra special between the warm welcome and tour of the resort.

The hotel seamlessly managed our various reservations (we kept changing our minds for dinner). Breakfast was included in our rate as well as the afternoon tea (alcoholic drinks too if you want!). We dined exclusively at The Lounge and our server Edwin was very helpful and full of delicious recommendations. We liked our breakfast so much we canceled our Sunday brunch at Soleil. We loved the baked eggs that accompanied the filet with fois (for breakfast, indulge a little or a lot!)

The Japanese restaurant had nice and attentive service but we wished we had known in advance that sashimi and raw sushi were not being served that evening before we sat down. All other dishes were great and we enjoyed the buffet and teppanyaki.

The pool at The Mulia is enormous. I swam for more than 30 minutes straight moving from pool to pool for a workout in the pouring rain. We liked the lounge chairs at the front of the pool just up five steps from the sandy beach. We went over to the resort (5 minute walk) for a drink at the swim up bar.

We used the hotel transport service from the airport and onward to the Four Seasons in Ubud. Drivers and van transport were very comfortable. We were met at the airport with a sign of the hotel just after we completed customs.

Bonus: Our 4 year old was left with his grandpa for the week but he was fascinated by the video of our automatic toilet - the lid would open when you walked up to it and auto-flushed too!

Beautiful property with manicured gardens.

We booked 2 rooms at The Mulia (one suite with beachfront view, and another with garden view). Both rooms were equipped with high end furnishings and jacuzzi at the balcony, but needless to say the beachfront view was our favourite. Beachfront jacuzzi with a glass of champagne will always be an excellent idea!

Breakfast and afternoon tea has always been excellent quality, and with immaculate services, they make every meal a delight. The only thing is that I wish they would change the menu a little bit since after a few days, it started being repetitive.

I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Dear Akihiromd, Thank you for staying with us and sharing your experiences. It was great to hear how much you enjoyed the luxury suites, all with the private Jacuzzi on your balcony (which is definitely best enjoyed with a glass of champagne or two!) and of course the beach front views and location being some of the best on the island. Thank you for also highlighting the daily complimentary afternoon tea and cocktails that all of our guests get to enjoy. Thank you once again and we look forward to being able to welcome you back to The Mulia sometime soon. Sincerely, The Mulia management and team

Stayed here during the new year and this is my favourite hotel in Bali, period. We've had the good luck and opportunity to stay in the best hotels around US, Asia, and Europe and we're a marriott junkie, but this is the one property that keeps us coming back even though it's not part of marriott.

Hotel Grounds
The grounds are expansive with manicured white sand beaches and array of swimming pools both for kids and adults

Rooms
Stayed on the oceanfront and garden suites, both of which are incredible with the amazing oceanfront view. Although i have one minor suggestions is that the "plant wall" isn't thick enough and sometimes i can still see people walking by.

Restaurant
Breakfast is amazing with variety of high quality options, had dinner at the cafe and unfortunately the pandemic situation forces to hotel to reduce their offerings, but it's still very good.

Service
Amazing service, our butlers are on point and very helpful on a lot of things, restaurant staffs and hotels are also incredible and courteous

COVID Rules
Covid rules are followed, they try be as hygienic as possible, gym equipments are wiped everytime you use it, staffs use masks and face shields

10/10 Stay!
