Fabulous staff - only too happy to help with everything you may need, but sadly many other reviewers have stated the issues with the hotel. The state of the pool, tiles and safety rails, damp smelling rooms and lack of cleanliness. I dropped a lipstick on the floor which rolled under the bed - warning - do not look under the beds - dirt, discarded clothes, flip flops and assorted rubbish. Private beach had around 15 - 20 sun beds but only one parasol between them. Most guests who arrived on the hotel shuttle at 10.00am went back on the next shuttle at 11. Great pizzas made to order by the pool but the pizza oven gave off black soot which then sprinkled itself across the pool. Many other issues which clearly management are aware of but don't seem able to fix! Very sad to not be able to rate this hotel as the staff do work very hard but it needs serious investment to make essential repairs, and there are much better options in the area.

Photos must be years old are are in NO way reflective of the state of this hotel today! We stayed December/January and tried to transfer to another Hotel but no vacancies over New Year/Xmas period! Have stayed in Mercure Sanur often and loved it! Thought we would try Nusa Dua this time! Mercure Nusa Dua was more than extremely disappointing. Pictures on site are not reflective of this hotel. Hotel needs a complete renovation. Wished we had read the hotels own website reviews before booking. On arrival given 2 rooms we did not book - had booked pool level rooms and had confirmed 9 months prior. On arrival told there was a mix up! After threat of contacting general manager suddenly the rooms we booked became available! Whole hotel especially Pool and pool area including sun beds need big renovation. Decking, false lawn falling apart and piles of tiles coming off pool daily Cabana bed support beams over pool are rotting and underneath support beams not connected and hanging off. Safety rail on top pool - some support struts are missing and some are not connected at all. All around the pool is a safety hazard especially for kids. Can't attached video evidence (file too big) of safety railing support strut missing and another unattached! Curtains were mouldy and dirty - had to ask for bed to be made up again due to dirty and blood stained sheets being put on bed. Air conditioner in one of our rooms leaking water - told to just turn it off and was not fixed prior to our checking out - Bali in rainy season without Air con not acceptable! Cancelled New Year Eves Dinner and all remaining pre-booked breakfasts due health concerns about how the restaurant was.

When the bathroom was used, the sewer couldn't run smoothly and one room flooded with water from the bathroom till the balkon which is literally means our room flooded with water within minutes. Even though housekeeping cleaned our room that afternoon. It should be cleaned after cleaning and if there is a clogged, the should know about it and cleaned it so that when guests use the bathroom in the evening after a long day, the water doesn't flood out of the bathroom. It seems like the room is not cleaned by housekeeping properly because the other than the clogged bathroom, our daily water is not refilled. When I complained to the receptionist, the response was very casual and there is no urgency like this accident often happened. The water is literally flooded from the bathroom until the window near balkon which is beside the lampside. What if there is electric shock from short-circuiting of light switches and water. The hotel can only apologize later on. The funny thing is when we are in a hurry to move our things to a new room, the bell boy delivered the card, it turned out that the card was NOT WORKING. HAHAHA What a way to test someone’a patience. At night, after being tired of traveling around Bali and wanting to take a shower and then sleep, instead you had to clean things in your room to move rooms plus you were pranked by the card not working. Service is VERY UNSATISFACTORY and NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. When we want to ask for another room for the next day so that we can be close to our young grandchildren, instead the GUEST, which is us, was told to ASK the receptionist tomorrow if there is a room available tomorrow. Can't your front office system check when guests on that floor will check out? If it’s not true then it seems that the staffs are too lazy to check it and HELP the guest. I dont think this is the facility and service that WE the GUEST expect from a 4 star hotel in Bali. For the other guest, I think you can try another hotel if you expect good service during your stay in BALI.

This is quite an impressive hotel from the outside however inside it’s quite basic with a lot of maintenance issues. My room has a broken room lock so they need to let me into my room each time. The shower tap is broken so the rainfall shower only drips water, lots of mould round the shower also. The fridges have been replaced with thermo coolers. They don’t cool, I was told that my 4 cans of drink was too much. The aircon has a rattle in it. So far nothing has been done to fix the problems after 25 hours. Lucky I only booked 3 nights here. I am a long time Accor Platinum member and I’m very disappointed with this hotel

I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews at this hotel. It’s super affordable so as long as your expectations are in line with pricing you will be happy. Yes the rooms are looking tired but they are super clean. I was pleasantly surprised at the food - every meal was 10/10 and they change the international breakfast items often. The stand out was the pool, and while there are some tiles missing this is not an issue.

I was there for 2 nights, the impression of this hotel: iylt is a very old hotel and not well maintained. The sofas in the lobby is very dirty, room cleanliness is terrible, breakfast is very slow by preparing soft boiled eggs, there were no towel in the bread basket, so many people touching the breads with hands. OmG..this hotel really need a rennovation a better manager to handle it.

The service is very poor. The room is very dirty, the hotel is very dirty. The rest room is very small and dark The access to enter the lobby and to the parking area is very dark at night. The park and the gym are not well maintained. The breakfast is awfull I suggest not bringing your family to stay at this hotel.
