Hilton Bali Resort is celebrated for its impeccable service and welcoming atmosphere, with guests often noting the friendly and attentive staff. The resort's cleanliness and well-maintained grounds are widely praised, although there have been some mentions of sporadic housekeeping issues. While the amenities, including diverse dining options and picturesque grounds, are highly regarded, some travelers consider the dining costs high.
The spacious rooms offer ocean views and comfort, but noise and maintenance have been points of contention for a few. The resort's location garners mixed reviews for its scenic yet secluded beachfront setting.

Detailed Reviews
Hotel's Favourite
We have loved this resort despite a few hiccups. We booked a swim-up suite - if you can book room 115 do so.
It's a little noisy as others have said. Music from the beach and children having fun. I like the music. Kids at 8am not so much but it's OK. We are here Christmas week and it's to be expected.
The beach area: we don't go to Bali for the beach. It's been red flagged half the days we've been here (7 nights). I didn't see rip currents though. The beach and ocean are great to look. The lobby has an expansive view.
Pools: I don't know why but when I get up around 10am every chair is taken. Book the swim up room. In the early afternoon the beach chairs free up. It reminds me of cruise ships until they started the no saving chairs programs.
Hot tubs: same temp as the pools but with jets.
Work out room: I'm lazy and didn't do it but normally I work out. It's a really fantastic site.
Food: we ate ate the Shore most days. The food is great and reasonable. You can check the website for menu and prices.
For Christmas Eve we ate at the Grain. They had carving stations for Turkey and Ham. They had corn fed Ribeye, lots of prawns, oysters and other things. It was about $30 USD pp. Drinks were not included. It looked like they were but they aren't.
For Christmas Dinner tonight we are going to a seafood fest. I think it was about $65 USD each. I'll update.
Wine is super expensive here. A bottle I buy at home for $12 (Lindemans Pinot Gregio) is 830,000 IPR ! I bought the same in Ubud for 320,000.
My complaint is that we were somehow assigned a concierge who did nothing expect harass us. I had asked for some dining reservations a couple weeks before arriving and hadn't heard back. I brought it up during check-in.
We were exhausted checking in. I'm not kidding I had several whatsapp text messages followed buy numerous messages and FOUR calls the next morning. She insisted I drop everything to meet her for the dining receipts. I'm exhausted and she gave me a lecture.
She didn't produce the receipts. She continued to harass me for two more days. If we didn't go to breakfast, she'd send ne texts asking why. This was after I told her numerous times we don't eat breakfast.
I finally had to tell her to leave me alone. I felt like a time share salesperson was harassing me. I'm not paying $2400 for 7 nights plus food and drinks to be harassed.
Yeah so we get breakfast for free at the lounge (we don't ear breakfast) and evening cocktails (I'd rather be at the pool). The lounge is not close.
Regardless, we've loved this resort.

We originally booked this hotel for 4 nights but ended up extending our stay for 7 nights. We booked the Cliff Tower Deluxe king and were there for the entire seven nights.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by very friendly hotel staff, and that experience continued throughout our entire stay. The room was nice and spacious, with incredible views overlooking the resort pools and the ocean. The room had recently been renovated although there were areas that showed its age. The only complaint we had about our room was that the air conditioning didn’t really get the room cool enough for our liking at night. I never saw the room temperature get below 73 degrees.
The on-site restaurants were outstanding with a very wide variety of food options especially in Grain, the main buffet style restaurant. My wife has a number of food allergies but the restaurants were very accommodating and able to make a variety of dishes she was able to enjoy, which can be difficult.
The executive lounge was one of the most unique I’ve ever been to as it had its own private pool. It was open starting at 10am abs provided a great place to relax and get away from the crowds. The 5-7pm drink selection was excellent and after a few visits, the my knew my order and would get it for me as soon as I arrived.
I would highly recommend this resort for anybody looking to just get away and relax while in Bali. The resort has a wide variety of offerings so you wouldn’t even really need to leave the property. Just be aware that Nusa Dua is very remote location and far from most of the popular Bali attractions like Lempuyang, Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Bali Swing, etc.

The reason why I choose this hotel in the first place is because I'm looking for a resort that offers everything so we can have a lazy but fun activities without having to leave the hotel. They have:
1. Pool with sands, so my baby can play sand without having to worry getting swept by waves :D
2. Kids pool with mini slides, my toddler spend hours in these pools
3. Adults ( in this case myself, my sister and brother) also having child like fun in the 30m pool slide
4. Private easily accessible beach (although quite narrow) to have morning walks
5. Spas (although I didnt go)
6. Beachfront restaurant with magnificent view of blue ocean ( no need to go to beach house)
7. Bathtub with windows to the room so I can keep an eye while my toddler have her 30mins bath dip
Best of all, almost everywhere in the hotel area is stroller-friendly, even the walk to the beach. Therefore I can leisurely take an early morning walk / stroll arond the pool / eat at the shore restaurant while my baby comfortably sleep/rest in the stroller. Mummy loves!
Other hotel amenities is standard 5 star hotel! Also I liked how the fridge is empty (not stuffed with those minibar thingy because i need the in-room fridge to store baby foods.

This property did not begin life as a Hilton and it does show (the initial quality is way beyond Hilton standards). The rooms are bright and well-appointed; however, the beach is the star attraction here. Nice sand that is raked multiple times a day by staff and less man-made garbage in the water than at other beaches in Bali. The hotel's dining options are limited and in line with others in the area money wise. Great outdoor pool with plenty of space to lounge. The executive lounge is small and well-staffed.

I reached out to Hilton Bali Resort to help plan for a 30th wedding anniversary for my parents. I was very well received by Clarisa Huang and the team which helped me to ensure that everything was perfect upon my parents' arrival. The set-up of the room, the pre-payment of the entire stay, the reservation of the beachside dinner were all done meticulously and to a high standard. As a result, my parents had an amazing 3 nights stay in the property. I strongly recommend Hilton Bali Resort for anyone considering a stay near Nusa Dua, Bali.

We loved our stay at the Hilton Bali Nusa Dua as it was very eventful and “wild”. We had our eyes on Hilton for a very long time and ended staying here for 2 weeks as the lockdown was starting.
Hilton is probably one of the old hotels (formerly Nikko) in the area but the rooms are updated and well maintained. They have direct access to the beach (important!!) with wild waves crashing and strong currents (not advisable to swim). There are 2 beachfront restaurants, The Breeze, with a beach hut concept, open for lunch, and The Shore, which is open for dinner. The food is affordable and is quite good.
Hilton has several pools available, the main pool has a manmade beach where children can play and swim. They have a pool which hosts probably the best slide among the hotels with slide (not counting Waterbom as it is waterpark) in Bali as it is long and fast. The pool is 4m deep (and the water is cold) which makes a good splash after the exciting slide.
Hilton’s selling point is the breathtaking view. It’d be worth it if you can get an ocean view room on the cliff tower, get the elevator with the window to view the ocean, take pictures from the breakfast area or access the watchtower. The view at the end of the stairs is worth the effort.
Hilton has also permanent residents, balinese macaques, which are quite bold and naughty. The correct mindset to take is that we are the ones invding their space, not them. So be advised NOT to dry clothes unattended on the balcony, or leaving the balcony doora open while leaving the room, you will be in for an experience.
All in all we loved our stay at Hilton Nusa Dua, and will return whenever possible.

It would have been much better if manager was not so rude!! We arrived a few hours early and our Room was not ready so we went to have breakfast that I prepaid for not only am I a gold member and get it free but I also paid every day for breakfast I was told I could not eat breakfast because it didn't include the day we checked in on however I did pay for it so I asked to speak to the manager she came over I started explaining she literally told me to shut up and she wanted to listen to the girl checking me in. She was very rude and condescending so I looked at her and said I'm done talking to you and I asked for information to talk to the head manager. I stopped at the desk every day but every day the head manager was not available. The hotel is a very beautiful hotel and it would have been a much better stay it's it wasn't for the rude staff. I've never had anyone speak to me that way before!!

We stayed at Hilton Resort Bali for 3 nights and it did not disappoint. The front desk arranged taxis for us whenever we wanted to go out and have lunch, and they were quick to respond when we informed them that our safe was running out of battery.
Our King Cliff Tower Ocean View room overlooked the hotel grounds and the Indian Ocean, and gave majestic views of the sunrise. However, we did not dare to venture out onto the private balcony because of the monkeys (they were really daring), who actually stole one of my mom's socks. The hotel informed us that although they're doing their best to keep them off the property, the species are protected by the Indonesian government, so they can't do much about it.
The whole property has a constant breeze flowing through it, and it's very cooling. The Indonesian restaurant downstairs (Paon Bali Resto & Bar) was excellent - the food was culinarily authentic; the ingredients were fresh, and the food was amazing. We ordered the land rijstaffel (photo attached), and it was excellent. The meat was juicy and tender, and the spices complemented the meat very well.
The breakfast buffet, to say the least, is astounding. There was Indian cuisine, Chinese cuisine, Indonesian cuisine, and intercontinental cuisine. It goes to show how varied the breakfast selection is. The staff there are proactive in changing plates, and very friendly as well. The white chocolate dessert is a must-try, by the way.
From the very moment we arrived, the staff was extremely hospitable and friendly, and that continued throughout the whole of the 4 days we were there. Be aware that it's on the southeastern tip of Nusa Dua Island, and it takes about 30 minutes to get to Jimbaran/Sanur/Seminyak. But with its Indian Ocean views, it's totally worth it.

I was in doubt to book this hotel after reading some bad reviews, especially the ones relating to monkeys invasion. But booked it anyway. I had a low expectation though. Turned out the bad reviews did not do them justice.
The positive side about Hilton Bali is that during the Covid-19, the rooms were cleaned with Hilton Clean Stay program before the guests checked in so we can feel a bit relax.
On the monkeys, the staffs did not deny that there were monkeys in the hotels but the key is to not give them food or leave any food in the balcony, if you do not want them becoming your uninvited guests. Fortunately, I did not see any single monkeys in my rooms during my three days stay (I stayed at the Cliff Tower rooms). I even spent quite some time in the balcony area because the view from the balcony is magnificent! The beach view at Hilton is really beautiful. The rooms are also modern because they just finished renovating the hotels, I believe.
Breakfast was decent. Not plenty of menus but it was good to keep your stomach stuffed til lunch time. They offer a good hospitality towards their guests. It can be seen that they are quite understaff (probably due to the Covid). But even so, this does not jeopardize the service given to the customers.
All in all, a decent five star hotel. I would def consider coming back.

This my second time staying in Hilton Nusa Dua.
The first one is fine. We enjoyed the direct access to the beach and the pool.
So then few months later, we came again for holiday.
First, really dissapointed with their check-in registration process, it took so long, people queing for check in, a lot of people in their lobby. During this pandemic situation, I think lot of luxurious hotel will change their check in process, more simple for the safety of the guest, from the time we booked other five star hotel will assigned the room, so when we come, we can directly go to our room, no gather around in the lobby with many people.
Second, I was booked a garden view room and free upgraded to Cliff Tower Ocean View (it is clearly stated in the booking confirmation letter), but then after waiting for 20 minutes for check in registration process, the front office said “sorry the room are full, we had so many guest check in today, so you will assigned to Pool View”, but Im not easily agree since the booking confirmation letter clearly said that I will be getting the Cliff Tower Ocean View, you cant say you have to many guest. You should know from the time people booked the room. How many people coming, and the capacity of your cliff tower ocean view room. So the front office tried to call her managers, and others, Im waiting for almost 30 minutes to get my room in a very crowded lobby during pandemic.
Third, if you want to borrow a cutleries you have to pay for IDR 25,000 for delivery, hmm, you must be confused as I am. But, the most wonderful thing is you have to pay IDR 25,000 for delivery when you order an in room dining. So, you buy their food with tax and services and you also have to paid delivery fee like you order by Online Food Deliveries (Gojek / Grab).
This is my first time, staying in a five star hotel, and the hotel asked for delivery fee to the guest who had ordered food and paid with tax and service charge.
Lastly, i think this my second time and last time staying in this hotel. If you have more budget you should find another luxurious hotel around Nusa Dusa, but if you have less budget maybe you should also find another hotel in Nusa Dua with more reasonable price and good hospitality. I will not recommend to stay in this hotel despite the price is maybe the cheaper around Nusa Dua Area (not sure the price of the other hotel around Nusa Dua).
Additional info, you wont be able enjoy your time sitting in your balcony because a lot of monkey will enjoy your balcony first.
