Exceptional hospitality, very kind natured staff who are willing to help you with anything. Delicious breakfast, and variety to suit many cultures. The restaurant’s served exquisite local Balinese food as well as variety to suit all. The Laguna pools are amazing and perfect to swim and relax around. Very clean and safe environment, I took my 5 month old baby, and felt so looked after.

Amazing stay at this newly renovated hotel. Beautiful rooms and they even gave a cake for my wife’s birthday. Excellent service from GM Lucy and her staff like Alexander Chong, Wardana, and the rest of the crew at the restaurants. Will come back.

Beautiful place, relaxing surroundings and great services, friendly staffs: Berta is the best. Will definitely comeback The Laguna staff (Rina) reached out to us via email to arrange for our arrivals. We arrived a bit early, (instead of waiting around in the lobby), Berta checked us in a room while waiting for our room ready. When our room is ready we transfer over and they have a tropical fruit basket and a local sweet treats in the room, all were so delicious.

What stood out at The Laguna was the service! Sure, the hotel itself was beautiful, and the grounds immaculate. There's not a trash can to be found anywhere, and also no trash. Even leaves that fell in all the lagoons and pools were collected promptly. At the breakfast buffet, a cup would not sit empty, used plates were quickly cleared, and the staff... Oh my, the staff was stellar. When we arrived, I was exhausted after hours of traveling, my body was literally in pain. They brought me soup and medicine so I could get a good night's sleep. The following morning at breakfast, no fewer than four people, including at least one manager, stopped by our table to welcome us and ask how I was feeling. When we returned to our room, there was a flower arrangement and a get well card. The room, and especially the bathroom, was luxurious. The breakfast buffet had a little something for everyone and every day, some items were changed, which was nice. Oh, did I mention, we got married at The Laguna too? They took care of the decorations, music, flower girls and coordinated with my photographer, etc... and we had a romantic dinner on the beach after the ceremony. Since the Laguna has just been recently renovated, the rooms are beautiful, clean, and well appointed, with very comfortable mattresses. The resort grounds are beautiful and well maintained throughout. However, what sets the Laguna apart from other five-star resorts in Bali is its unfailing commitment toward excellent customer service. There appears to be a very mature degree of customer service present throughout the resort, particularly at the Front Desk, the Butler team (who collectively seem to know not only the resort, but also its history), and De Bale. Here are a few notable examples of the excellent customer service I received at the Laguna that I had never encountered at any other hotel or resort: 1. In August, when I dropped by the Laguna just for drinks (without being an in-house guest), Ibu Lilik at De Bale immediately recognized me and remembered my name even though I had met her only once three months prior. The same happened with my November stay just last weekend, when Ibu Sari also remembered me and greeted me by name the moment she saw me approaching De Bale. Both Ibu Lilik and Ibu Sari provided genuine, unparalleled customer service that reflected true Javanese/Balinese hospitality; the type of hospitality that I have long missed and that reminded me of my childhood growing up in Indonesia. 2. I had casually mentioned to Bapak Aprin at De Bale I really liked klepon (Javanese/Balinese traditional snacks). Bapak Aprin then informed me on the Friday during my weekend stay that if I were to come back the next day, there would be klepon (Javanese/Balinese traditional snacks) prepared for me as he had asked the kitchen to prepare some. I came back on Saturday, and sure enough, he brought lots of klepon for me to enjoy with my drinks. 3. Bapak Perdi (A. Ferdian), one of the Duty Managers, literally walked on foot from the lobby all the way to the car park when I checked out to say goodbye to me. I thought this was a very, very nice gesture that embodies the spirit of relationship-based customer service. I have never seen this happen at any other hotel or resort I have stayed at. He has always been very responsive to my emails as well. Plus, if you are an Elite member, this resort delivers above and beyond. This property sets an example for other hotels -- particularly those classified as resorts -- to follow. The Laguna delivers on two of the most important Elite benefits: suite upgrades (to actual one-bedroom suites with a separate living area) and 4p.m. late checkout. The Laguna has become my property of choice in the Nusa Dua area just because of their ability to deliver Elite benefits that other properties cannot. I feel like my loyalty is really valued whenever I stay at the Laguna. I would like to give a special shoutout and thank you to some staff members at the Front Desk, namely Bapak Perdi (A. Ferdian), Ibu Junita, and also Ibu Nizel (who responded to one of my previous emails). At De Bale, my highest degree of appreciation goes out to Ibu Lilik (who I unfortunately did not get to meet last weekend), Ibu Sari, Bapak Aprin, bartenders Bapak Ping and Bapak Arik, as well as Bapak Kadek. I just cannot wait to return to the Laguna next year.…

I went to Bali thinking of beaches and warmth, but The Laguna delivered so much more. I experienced a temple blessing, learning of the culture and beliefs of the wonderful people that we all too eager to assist us in any way. I got 2 massages in the Spa, swam in every pool in short this was an unforgettable and amazing experience! The Travel desk helped us arrange for a tour of Jatiluwih Rice fields, the artisans of Abud and two amazing temples on the ocean. Our driver quickly became a family friend and was dedicated to helping us make memories and take some of the culture home with us. if you are going to bali avoid the mega resorts and stay here, the staff will get to know you BY NAME, they will show genuine interest in your experiences, and you will forever be improved for the visit. What I say here will not do this hotel the justice it deserves but I will try, firstly what an amazing pleasure to visit Bali and stay at the Laguna the hotel facilities and grounds are so clean and well kept the staff work so hard to maintain it, the pools are fab and lots to choose from, the staff makes the hotel what it is always friendly always happy to do anything for you and we felt everyone were genuine, the rooms are so lovely and the food is very nice, I want to say a very special thank you to Ade in the Banyubiru restaurant every morning at breakfast he was there to greet us and made us feel special, always giving us things to try and trust me we were never disappointed because food is so nice and lots of veriety, what a guy thank you Ade you are a star, also a mention of Dewi in the same restaurant she was also there to welcome us too so sorry we didn't see her on our last day. I stayed here for a conference cum short vacation. It was a toss between Westin or Laguna, as I am a Bonvoy member. So glad I chose this hotel instead.
