Detailed Reviews
The resort is undoubtedly great - rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the property as a whole is extremely well maintained (though naturally it does benefit from being a relatively new property).
However, I would definitely say that what upgraded our stay from great to delightful was the attentiveness and service-oriented attitude of every staff we interacted with on the premises, from the buggy drivers, the room cleaners, the waiters at the restaurants, and the concierge service staff. They were unfailingly ready to help and patient with our every request. One of the concierge staff even helped us call various restaurants and spa places to help us place bookings for them and we were grateful for their service that allowed for a seamless trip across Bali.
We would definitely be back again to stay!

Just spent 6 days / 5 nights at Bali Nusa Dua Terrace. had a great time, our room was in one of the back buildings (3024) and it was a spacious, two room suite, bedroom and living room / kitchenette. Extremely comfortable and quite. Short walk to main building, pool, and spa.
Great value, great service everywhere. (Pool, room, spa, restaurants.)
Free shuttle to Bali collection was really nice.
Housekeeping was quick when requested and front desk could arrange transportation and events quick and painless.

My husband and I went with his parents for a short 3 night stay at the Marriot's Bali Nusa Dua Terrace since they have a timeshare. Honestly, this resort was impressive, modern, and clean. I am slightly OCD about cleanliness and our rooms and bathrooms were very clean All the staff at the hotel, restaurants, and spa were friendly, attentive, and very professional. The pools and services were fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. We loved hanging by the infinity pool which was the perfect temperature. The breakfast buffet inside the air conditioned restaurant was nice and the variety of food was very good. I loved the fresh fruits, cheeses, and smoked fish. They had a crepe station and variety of american and indonesian food. Compared to other Mariott's timeshare, including Hawaii, our family felt our stay was most enjoyable due to this resort. We highly recommend staying here if you are spending with family or just as a couple.

We as a family of four had a good time here at the Marriott Nusa Dua Terrace (renaissance) Hotel (room 3052). However as we’ve travelled with friends who also booked the same apartment villa (2 single + 1 king bed + living room with 2 bath rooms with outdoor privat pool patio), weren’t that lucky (3055, 3053, 3054). Smelly suers and issues in the brand new hotel, which opened Nov. 2022, were disappointing.
Problems couldn’t be resolved quickly and no other rooms were available to change.
No compensation offered!
The hotel complex was fully booked.
So the breakfast in peak times between 09:00 - 11:00am is overwhelmed.
Staff can’t keep up with the demand of refilling and serving guests.
Therefore the level of service and customer experience drops to lowest levels of guests expectations.
Also if you’ve paid additional for breakfast, you will realize that you’ve shouldn’t. As nobody will check your room number when being seated for breakfast. So no need to pay for breakfast ;-)…
The food quality is acceptable but not close to any 5 star hotel level. More like a 3+ star hotel.
Rooms are clean with basic amenities provided.
Pool service is not existing, you e to chase after the staff to get what you’re looking for.
Hotel management has to step-up the level of offered quality with hiring more staff for service and maintenance and all over customer experience.
For now this hotel shall be rated as max. 4 star hotel.
You may think for other alternatives to book your vacation until Marriott managed to bring up the hotel to customer expectation levels.

Though the hotel was nice and the morning breakfasts were great, we found the other meals available through the restaurant to be overpriced and underwhelming as well as drinks. I wouldn't stay here again and only booked as there was a good deal going.
For example I ordered a rib eye steak and that's all I got. No vegetables or salad. My husband ordered duck and it was like rock. When ordering a pina colada, the bartender blended it so much the drink was all froth and little substance. For the prices we paid that was a bit cheeky
Also in the room the TV was substandard, outside globe for light was blown. TV channels were very snowy and did not get as good a selection as Novotel next door

First off, the positives. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment, the property is relatively new so everything worked well and presented nicely. The gym was good, however again a little cramped. The pool facilities were excelled and the staff really attentive - personally I did not appreciated the loud music and I would of preferred something a little more relaxing. The kids club was good.
The not so positive. The apartment would be pretty cramped for 4 people - I travelled with my partner and 18 month old daughter and we found it pokey. Overall we found the food (quality and choices) to be poor, this was a major disappointment. We ate in the backstage restaurant twice - it was pretty awful. Firstly my partner spotted a rat in the restaurant near the kitchen, then we were served bland wester food that was really salty. The kids menu was abysmal - the mash potato tasted like it came from a packet, yuck. I would like to feed my infant daughter fresh and healthy food - way too much chips and fried food on the menu. The breakfast buffet was pretty average - you have to wait 10 mins for a omelette.
The food in the Lion X was better and I found the staff (especially Widia) to be really good.
Overall our level of satisfaction was so impacted by the quality of food the overall rating for our stay is poor. It could of been a great experience but the management needs to address the options they present for food.
You don't need to look too far to see what good food options and quality are like - we had a great food experience at Marriott Courtyard.

Since it is a Martiott Vacation Club, the service is stable.
Since it was just my husband and I, we chose a one-bedroom instead of a two-bedroom, but the room was spacious and easy to use.
There is also a small pool in the room.
There is a washing machine, a large refrigerator, a kitchen equipped with dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils (including a rice cooker), so you can live like you are living there.
They provide plenty of bottled water every day and even provide more.
The same goes for Balinese coffee and tea, so you don't have to bring coffee from Japan.
Since we can also use the Renaissance facilities here, we mainly ate at the restaurants inside and outside the premises this time, but since I tend to eat a lot if I use the buffet in the morning, I bought some fruit to avoid gaining weight.
However, I recommend using the buffet a few times.
The menu is very extensive and delicious, including desserts.
At the Martiott Vacation Club, various Activities called Resort Activities are available from morning to evening, and as usual, I enjoyed various yoga in the morning.
This time, I participated in Ari's Yoga by the beach (inside the hotel because of the morning rainstorm), URIP's Power stretching, Paddleboard yoga, Pool workout, and Water fun aerobic.
Both Ari and URIP were very kind, cheerful, and fun people, and they were considerate of my hip problems, so I was able to enjoy it to the best of my ability without worrying about it.
I wanted to participate every day.
Paddleboard yoga was very popular, and instead of the usual 1 hour class, it was divided into 3 classes of 30 minutes each.
Still, I enjoyed it thoroughly.
It was really fun!
At first, everyone participated in the Pool workout and Water fun aerobic classes in the pool with a slightly stiff expression, but they soon started to have fun and we were able to exercise to our heart's content in the water while smiling at each other.
I would definitely like to participate again!
Thank you very much for the pleasant days. I'll come again!

I'm at the resort as I write, staying in a two bedroom villa. Beautiful to look at, well equipped kitchen. The living space is small for six but adequate. The aircon only operates in the main living area, the bedrooms rely on ceiling fans. I found the bed far too hard but that's personal preference. If you have a ground floor apartment, you will be up when your upstairs neighbors are up. There is very little sound insulation; the loo flush is especially noisy. The plunge pool looks great but, in reality, is too cold to use as it's unheated and the balcony receives no sun to warm it. There is nowhere to hang clothes outside on hangers (although people try judging by the signs on the sprinkles). The dryer in the kitchen is not great, and would not be an environmentally friendly option, so being able to hang clothes outside would be helpful. The balconies are not overlooked so it wouldn't be an eyesore.
The pools are good but really need to be drained and cleaned. The jacuzzi has not worked either time I have visited. Music levels at the pools are far too loud and not a great ambience for a relaxing experience. If you want a good cocktail, skip the pool bar and take a stroll into town. The staff are very friendly and attentive.
The gym is ok, lots of running machines; a rowing machine would be good. Strange choice of music; not sure if they know who their clientele are. Floor repairs ongoing.
We went for the Wine Not wine tasting last night. Four glasses of wine; did it last year and it was great with a knowledgeable chap giving us recommendations. This year we were eventually given the choice of one white and two reds. White was ok, the red was undrinkable and had to chase after staff to get the bill to leave as the service was so slow. This was maybe our fault for choosing to sit in the terrace. Wasted evening.
We are asked our room number all the time which feels like we are under surveillance and rather creepy. Not a great resort if you have mobility issues as there are lots of hills and stairs. The resort grounds are well maintained and beautiful.
Overall, the resort is stunning to look at and the staff are friendly and helpful but I don't think it really knows its audience. I can't see that I will return.

We went to Bali to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our family of 4.
We stayed at 1 bedroom villa with private plunging pool and terrace.
Our bedroom was decorated with cute towel arrangements and balloons 🎈 .
Fully equipped eat in - kitchen with pots & pans, toaster, coffee maker , microwave, dinnerware and utensils.
The terrace is spacious, with overhead ceiling fan & the plunging pool. The drawback is it has only 1 bathroom. But other than that it’s a beautiful villa.
Excellent amenities, 1 public pool shared with Renaissance resort, 2 private pools for Mariott Vacation Club owners and kiddie splashing pool.
Gym is updated , clean. Bicycles are available for 2 hours block time. Shuttles are available to Renaissance Nusa Dua beach club and Bali collection. The beach 🏝️ is nice , clear blue water, soft beige sands. The beach club is tucked in a quieter corner, perfect for rest and relaxation, however , limited Food & Beverage menu.
Breakfast buffet ( main restaurant) offers extensive selections from Western breakfast 🍳 ( egg station , waffles with various dipping sauces, breads, pastries) to Asian breakfast ( noodle 🍜 station, dim sum 🥟, dumplings, Indian fares such as naan 🫓 , butter chicken , Indonesian fares such as nasi goreng, mie goreng, krupuk) , fresh juices/ smoothies.
Overall we had pleasant stay! 👍
