We had an amazing stay at the Marriot Nusa Dua. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a fantastic 2-bedroom unit that had complete kitchen amenities, unlike any other hotel we've stayed at before. All our prior arrival specifications were fully complied with. Additionally, they prepared a special birthday bed setup with beautiful towel decorations for my husband. The housekeeping team continued to brighten our days with unique towel decorations each day.
We encountered a minor issue with the toilet door, but the respectful and kind hotel engineer promptly fixed it. The reception team was incredible, always assisting us with smiles and warmth, which added to our overall amazement. They were eager to secure my feedback with follow-ups. On our last day, I spent some time with them to give my reviews personally. This is actually a reflection of good management and culture. The team is eager to receive both positive and negative feedback for improvement.
The only letdown I mentioned to them was the buffet breakfast at the restaurant. I had heard about the food quality before our travel from friends, which had met my expectations. However, the limited food choices and lack of daily variety need improvement. The coffee is only from a machine and not prepared by traditional methods, which should be one of the main services offered, as Bali is known for its delicious coffee. Yes, it entails additional cost to prepare coffee traditionally, but it is worth offering to vacationers.
Lastly, I gave the Nusa Team some rankings and mentioned them while giving my reviews. In terms of housekeeping, reception, and maintenance, Nusa Dua Marriot tops it against three other major hotel chains we have experienced before, while the restaurant (variety and daily options only) ranks fourth. Despite this, we will definitely be back soon. A special shoutout to Moon, Mita, Chandra, Ray, Thomas, Febry, Ardika, and Abdi, who truly made our stay memorable.

We stayed 5 nights at Marriott Bali Nusa Dua Gardens in a 2 bedroom unit which was well furnished. The impressive aspect of this trip was the amazing service we received from everyone we met at this resort. Special mention to Adelle and Deborah at the front desk and Ray who was the bell captain. They were great. Adelle would come towards me even as I walked to the reception area to ask if I needed anything. Very warm and proactive service.
They serve very good beef tacos and chicken nasi goreng at the DS restaurant which has a very relaxing vibe.
No beachfront accessible by foot. But access to the Courtyard by Marriott Nusa Dua beach club is included with hourly shuttle service.

When we arrived, we were offered ground floor rooms, though we had requested high floor rooms (3 times), it took some persuasion to rectify this but everything was done with the beautiful Balinese hospitality, I would like to thank Hero for sorting things out, after that we has a lovely stay. The rooms are the usual Marriott standard, bit smaller than some of the apartments in Phuket, Europe and US but we were a couple so it didn't matter too much to us. We didn't use any of the restaurants as we love to try the local cuisines which are literally around the corner. The pool is lovely and warm. The resort is small (not a bad thing though) and away from the noise, Nusa Dua is generally quiet. A big shoutout to all of the staff, especially the housekeeping, the massive Balinese smiles are so infectious, works wonders every time.

Arrived in the resort past 9pm from our Ubud stay, and was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the hotel and its upkeep. We were greeted by the most friendly night manager, Mini, at the front desk. She immediately made us feel very much at home. This was something that we came to look forward to every time we came back to the hotel. We booked a 2-bedroom suite which was actually a 1-bedroom suite connected to a studio unit (which also had its own kitchenette). The rooms were very clean, linens all white and freshly laundered. Kitchen appliances (also had a dishwasher in the 1-bedroom suite) and cooking implements are all complete. Washing machine/dryer included too. Cleaning is supposedly done only when you request it, as implemented for covid protocols. And yet they cleaned daily. All staff members are polite and all readily extend a helping hand, from the night managers, room attendants, security and duty manager. Mini, Harry, Chandra, Suza, Adi and Julie. Thank you for making our stay very pleasant!

On our last day of an excellent vacation at Marriott Nusa Dua Gardens. Without exception all hotel staff were extremely pleasant and went out of their way to provide a great holiday experience. I particularly enjoyed the daily yoga, pilates and bike tours delivered by the activity coordinators who were friendly welcoming and provided a great exercise session to start your day. As expected with Marriott the rooms were of high quality with all resources for a 2 week stay, we had a 1 bedroom apartment which was cleaned daily to a high standard with innovative towel art! The food in the hotel was good and there are lots of local restaurants- we enjoyed the Beach grill,Art cafe and for a celebratory tasting menu the St Regis Kayuputi restaurant. We took the opportunity to see Bali including a bike tour in rice fields, sunrise trekking at Mount Batur, sunset at Sundays beach club, snorkelling at Nusa Penida , cookery with Green Kitchen and so much more! I would most definitely return even though it’s 16 hours of flights to Uk!!

Although it was just a short stay with Marriott’s Bali Nusa Dua garden, it just felt different from other 5 star hotels from arrival, to check in to hotel room experience to food and amenities.
The check in experience was personal by Christian explaining all the details that I needed for the stay and beyond provided details like having toothbrush even before I enter the room.
The room was well appointed and well maintained.
The pool looks pristine and clean.
The staff were friendly with smile always genuine from the heart.
in room dining was pretty quick
Coffee was good. Good news for bleisure travelers!
Overall, I wish I could stay longer here than the other resort.
Kudos to Bun Novi and the team for the hospitality!

Hotel was beautiful, the pool area was amazing, really clean, and plenty of loungers. breakfast was chaotic and often not a great experience, although they did have a large range of options it was sometimes hard to get any food just because they were overwhelmed with guests and not enough clean plates. The bar service was not great, we were charged an additional $150 for drinks we never had, they repeatedly didn't add the Marriot club discount to anything we bought even after showing them our club card, unless we went and complained. It is in a great location, central to everything, beautiful grounds and the rooms were fantastic, not all negative, not sure I would be back again, but it didn't spoil the holiday in any way.

We’ve stayed at many hotels around the world and had a great experience by and large. The one that stands out above all is the hotel staff at The Marriott Nusa Dua - The Gardens & Renaissance Hotel in Bali. Everyone from grounds crew, housekeeping, servers, front desk, currency exchange desk, bellmen, and so forth were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There are two special women I would like to give a big thanks to, Hendri & Mei. They went beyond “Hello” and made me feel like family. The customer service they provided was beyond expectations. For example, Mei knew we were looking for my husband’s umbrella and was able to locate the umbrella in lost and found, and bring it to him when she saw us eating breakfast. Also, when I ordered nachos at the pool and asked for all the toppings to be omitted, Hendri offered me a suggestion of placing them on the side. That was great thinking on her part. I can’t eat the toppings due to dietary restrictions but could still share the nachos with whomever else in my family wanted to eat them. They also would chat with me and ask how my day was, remembered to ask how we liked a place we visited, and gave me local suggestions on food and places to see. There are many more things I could mention that both Hendri & Mei did. They both are creative thinkers and well deserve recognition by the hotel management.

Our stay at Marriott Vacation Club Nusa Dua Garden has been wonderful. The facilities are great for family with little kids like us. Our 2BR apartment was equipped with washing machine & dishwasher and all the kitchen appliances that you can think of (microwave, blender, toaster, smart rice cooker, even cofee maker). Their services & hospitality was perfect and always got better by year.
All of their staff are excellent and very helpful. Thank you Debo, Mini, Jeremy, Adelle & Queen for such an excellent service and for always being ready to assist us during our stay. Our special thanks to Chiyo who kindly arrange flower bouquet for us and to Christian, who in his off days assist us in securing our requests and preference. Thank you for making our vacation super perfect.
