We had a wonderful time at Avisara. The rooms were very clean and suited our needs perfectly. The owners were fantastic and went out of their way to help us multiple times. I would gladly stay here again.

I spent 20 days at this villa as part of my trip from Europe to Australia.

1. Location - the place looks remote on the map, however that is not entirely true. Bali is not a walkable location (unless you live in central Kuta) and so you may find yourself travelling by car quite a bit. By car the Villa location is really quite good.

- 15-20 min away from a few beaches (by taxi), this usually costs 50,000 rupiah. My favourite is Geger beach as it is always clean and relatively quiet. Watch out for low tides!
- 30 min away by foot (if you are crazy) from Pepito, or a 5 minute taxi ride. Pepito is a grocery shop oriented towards westerners, there is also a cafe there with air con, wifi and good coffee. The place is expensive by Balinese standards, cheap compared to London
- 30-45 min to Kuta, around 100,000 rupiah
- 10-15 min to Bali Collection (shopping area with restaurants)

2. Villa - the villa is run by a family. These people are super friendly and will always try to help you out the best they can. The owner (who often sits at the reception/entrance) speaks very passable English, I had a few pleasant conversations with him. My only issue was that the rooms themselves were not amazingly thought-out (see below), however there is nothing deal-breaking there.

Pros:
- Very clean
- Quiet
- Very good wifi (by Balinese standards), I could get avg of around 50-100 kbps
- Good water pressure in the shower (most of the time)
- Air conditioning works
- Well-maintained pool
- Good price

Cons:
- Lack of shelves in the bathroom
- Extremely stiff wardrobe, the wardrobe also had strong new-furniture smell
- I found the room somewhat noisy during strong thunderstorms
- Sometimes there is no water pressure in the middle of the day
- There is no fridge in the room, there is however a shared fridge in the reception area

3. Food - the only cooking done on-site is breakfast. You have the choice of toast (with jam) or omelette. For dinner and lunch options they have a menu with a small selection of meals, whatever you pick is then ordered and a guy brings it over on scooter 15-20 minutes later. The ordered food tastes good, however it is nothing spectacular from culinary standpoint.

- Cafe inside Pepito (see above) does good food
- Bali Collection is very close by (10-15 minutes, 40,000 rupiah) and there are a TON of restaurants there

Conclusion: A no-brainer for a budget-oriented traveller. A solid option for anyone looking for peace and quiet.

Mr. and Mrs. Londa are really accommodating and friendly. They are very sensitive to their customers' needs. The thing that I really liked about them is that they don't treat their customers as customers but as family members. They make delicious Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng that you are sure to miss after your trip.

My friends and I stayed there for a whole week. The accommodation is like a mini paradise within the city. It is extremely serene, quiet and it felt like a 2nd home for me and my friends. Their pool is like a gem in the center of the place. It is surrounded with eye-catching plants that really liven up the place especially in the morning.

I had only dreamed of waking up in the morning, opening up the curtains and then being greeted by a breath-taking scenery until I visited Avisara.

The rooms were very neat. They do room service everyday so you can be sure that your bed is made and your trash bins are empty when you get back from your trip. The staff are also very honest so you don't need to worry about your things being stolen or damaged during the room service.

Additional blankets and bath towels are one request away.

Free wifi is available at the place. Food is great and affordable, and it is delivered right outside your room if you request it beforehand. Breakfast needs to be requested the night before since they have to prepare it early morning of the next day.

Birds sing to you in the morning so say goodbye to your stress and problems! I also liked their neighbor's pitbull. It was really cute but quiet. You can see the little guy from the 2nd floor everyday.

The clean white bed sure hits the spot! It was so comfy that I found it hard to get up every morning. I had a good rest every night. The airconditioning was also superb.

The room I stayed in had about 6 or 7 coat hangers inside a big closet. They also have free bath soap, shampoo and shower gel. The room's lighting is great (not too bright and not too dim). One night lamp is on either side of the bed. Electrical outlets are abundant in the room although you have to bring an adapter if you come from a country that uses flat toothed plugs (Indonesia uses round toothed electrical plugs).

Electric flat iron is also available in the place. Just ask Mr. Wayan or his wife or any of his staff.

Mr and Mrs Londa also sell their very own Bali coffee that is sure to liven up your day!

Gojek or Grab have no problem reaching the place so don't worry about transpo.

Overall, I really really loved staying at Avisara and I hope to come back some time in the future. It was really worth every Rupiah. Matur Suksma Mr and Mrs Londa!

This place is absolutely lovely. Super quiet location for some chill time. The rooms were everything we needed- comfy bed, lovely shower, clean sheets and spacious room. The owners and staff were absolutely lovely, they couldn’t have done enough for us. We also purchased some traditional Balinese coffee from the owner as he also owns a coffee plantation, it was delicious! Would love to stay here again! :) xx

The service was excellent. The place was great. If you're traveling with the family /friends go for the villa to get more privacy. The staff was friendly. The only issue was with the food. One portion was not enough for a single person.

As soon as we arrived we felt the positive energy as we were greeted by the owner Mr Wayan and the beautiful quiet location away from traffic noise and pollution. All you hear is water sounds from the pool, birds, and the occasional gekko. A place to relax and unwind. The beds were the best I've slept in on any holiday. Breakfast is served every morning at the time you requested on the little terrace in front of your room. There is nasi, mie, or omelet with toast with either Balinese coffee or tea to get your day started. Definitely hire a motorbike from him as most things are out of walking distance. Pak Wayan is always happy to help with anything like places to go, which beaches are nice and will help order in food or Uber/taxi on request. He even invited us to a traditional Balinese ceremony in honor of his nephew's new house. The TV had some English/International channels which was nice. Rooms are squeaky clean as is the pool. The rooms get cleaned daily whenever you are out no matter what time. They fog the place regularly so there are little to no mosquitos. There is a fridge available with Bintang beer and mineralwater for a good price. All in all a great place to stay whilst in Bali and we were sad to leave. We will be back :-)

We been traveling for nearly 6 months in Asia and this place has been the best!
The rooms are brand new. The bed is big and very comfortable. They have TV with a lot of channels in English. The room is big and is being cleaned every day. The bathroom is in a great shape with hot water. We had a balcony next to the pool - which also wonderful.
You can order breakfast in the reception and also rent a motorbike.
The best part was the staff. It is being run by a family and they really understand to give a warm and welcoming service.
We had booked 2 nights but decided to take another 4 nights and we will be coming back.
The beach is not far if you rent a motorbike you will be there within 10 minutes. It's also close to the airport.
And the rooms actually looks like the ones in the pictures :-)
