We got suite room that have view of the garden and the swimming pool. The room was spacious for out family (2 adults and 2 kids). Even there is no bathtub in our room, the shower room was separated with the toilet, so our family can use together separately both shower and toilet. The sofa bed in the living room can also be set up as extra bed by our request. (the very kind hotel staff named Kristiana Dewi prepared it for us as well as the other helpful service for our family)
The breakfast and room service was great, with affordable breakfast extra charge for our kids (IDR 40,000 at that moment)
The location was perfect for us, in the main street of Bali (Sunset Road). So we can easily access great location such as Kuta, Legian, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, even Ubud. And there are lots of various restaurant and coffee shop nearby.
If you choose pool access room, make sure you understand that the pool is semi private pool and only 0.6m / 19ft shallow (not as deep as main pool which is separated to pool access room's shared pool)
Looking forward to stay there again when we visit Bali next time :)

So i made my reservation through agoda from feb 8, since i’m gonna staying here for my birthday, and i put a special request “if there’s a birthday treat, it would be nice”, but i never thought they would really read it. But later on, they email me about the request and told me to whom should they address the birthday cake to, and i jokingly said that i’m the one having the birthday on the day i’m checking in to their hotel, and they said they’re gonna make my birthday stay feel pleasant with them. And they fulfill it!!
I got to Golden Tulip around 1pm and by that time my room wasn’t ready, but they told me that they upgraded my room for free to suite! Then around 3pm they called me to tell me that my room was ready. When i got into my room, oh my God, the room was beautiful, spacious and so clean. And the most special part is, the decorated my bed with roses and shaped towels, so cute! And the view from my room was directly to swimming pool, it was an amazing view.
In the afternoon, around 6pm, the hotel crew came to my room and bring my birthday cake with the others singing and playing guitar! It was a memorable day indeed. My parents were so happy about the room upgrade and the service from the hotel crew, and they want to extend their stay. But since i got this suite from free upgrade (since i actually booked the deluxe pool view), i kinda confused whether they would give me the deluxe rate or suite rate, so i ask the reception and they told me they have to ask the manager first and will get me the confirmation soon. But after some times, they didn’t call me and my parents and I were about to go out to have dinner, so i asked directly to the reception (which already switched person so i need to explain it once again), but he gave me the explanation about what i’ve gotta do, that they will help me upgrade me so i can still staying in the same room but i need to booked the deluxe pool view once again. And i did it the next day and i went to reception again and they finally reserved my room for the night, the progress was very fast and all of the receptionist staffs were very friendly and helpful.
I really really love my stay here!! Can’t wait to go back!! ❤️

We are staying at golden Tulip for our family holiday. Although the resort is older, the staff make every effort to keep it clean and tidy. The staff are very attentive and warm and helpful. They have met all of our needs and are always very responsive kind and accommodating. This resort is not in a tourist area at all it is tucked away behind the busy hussle and bussle of kuta and Legian but is only a $2 go jek to those areas. We have found it lovely to be in such a “local” area, surrounded by local shops and warungs. It’s not busy and crowded which is great. The location of sunset road makes it easy to get to many locations around Bali. Next door is the most amazing spa called reborn that I highly recommend. The breakfast is so extensive, they make up your room promptly every morning and refill everything. For $80 a night for 2 adults and 2 children with a pool access suite and buffet breakfast daily, with great facilities and genuine, kind and friendly staff. This resort is great. We are enjoying our time here immensely. Thank you Golden Tulip. The staff really make this place.

Love the staff a lot. We booked the hotel for 1 night on short notice, and this Hotel definitely delivers what hospitality meant. On Jan 2nd 2020, we were supposed to go back to Jkt, but due to some mishap, we missed our flight, that's why we ended up book this hotel for a night only. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff apologized sincerely bcuz the rooms still being prepared, which this is understandable since we booked on short notice and we do ask them to give us rooms with good aircon as my mother would hv problems with her breathing if the aircon r not good. Then they asked us to wait momentarily, and while we wait, they also provide us with wheel of fortune kind of game, where we spin wheels and when it stops, it shows free items, such as free transport to the airport, free 1 fresh juice, etc. We got 1 free juice and smoothies bowl btw. What surprising to me even more, when we already inside our rooms, the technical staff came to our rooms and double check with us about the aircon temperature whether it is okay or not. Also, when I returned to our room after went to the restaurant, I bump with one of the staff, and the staff asked me about the aircon again, like I am surprised that they really care about their guests.

Came to the hotel around 12.30, but was not given a room and told to wait till 2pm or go to the nearby mall which was a good 25 minutes walk away which we did. Was told i would be upgraded to a Junior suite with a Jacuzzi but was denied the same by a grumpy guy with the name SUGAR on his name tag. My Junior suite was spacious and clean, everything worked well till a day before we could leave when we got dirty black muddy water from the taps and which took most of the day to get repaired which was done by the time we got back.
The property is OLD but is set in a beautiful garden more like a park with a swimming pool in the centre. The location is terrible, nothing around. For everything we had to hire a taxi ( minimum of 30000 IDR), which the reception was kind enough to order for us. So location wise, think again, nothing around.
The hotel has a spa which offers 20% discount, but we never visited. Breakfast had a very large spread and the best we have had in Bali. We ordered room service thrice and though most of what was on the menu and what we wanted was NOT available, whatever we ordered was good quality, large portions and reasonable priced.
The bathroom does not have a door and can disturb your partner when you brushing your teeth. The commode and the showers were seperate areas. The head shower had no pressure at all and was disappointing. Most of the water spouts were not working.
Check out was fast. Will I stay here again? well, for its location, one end of sunset road with nothing around, I would not choose or suggest this hotel.

Staying 3N here, good hotel, good open space and pool, luxurious, however this is very suitable for family, since there's lot of kids in the pool area. The breakfast is quite basic, and the room if still find some spot that not clean enough, when I arrived i need to call the housekeeping 2 times to make the room cleaner. The hotel also seems to reduce the cost, since in 3 nights I've stayed they never changed the hand sanitizer in the lift, so it always empty. But it's really recommended if you have family with kids to stay here

Plus: strategic hotel location, spacious rooms, nice pool and garden area to relax, there is a gym, swimming pool for kids & kids club too. The kids like to play there because the child supervision staff at the kids club (forgot to ask the name but the photo is attached) are very friendly and want to play and offer games for children such as coloring, x-box and PS, etc. 10/10 for the service from the staff at the kids club.
Minus: for the city view room 208/209 there is a balcony and the view faces the exit which has golden tulips written on and the sunset road is crowded and crowded. The room is not soundproof where the sound of the next room and people in the corridor can be heard very clearly. Especially at night the sound of vehicles on the crowded sunset road and the sound of motorbikes speeding on the road can be heard clearly from the room so it is very disturbing while sleeping. The sliding glass door should have been made impermeable for comfort. I don't blame it because this room type is the cheapest in its class. In addition, I asked for towels to the FO at 2 pm because one room only had 1 towel, and the other room had absolutely no towels. But until 4.30 pm it has not been brought too. Finally I asked the HK staff who was in the corridor at that time

Unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience at the golden tulip however we can see the hotel definitely has potential and perhaps was lovely before covid.
We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel the breakfast had lots of choice, the price was super cheap and the location is good especially if you don’t mind walking which we always enjoy. Also comfortable beds. There is a basic gym with everything you’d need although it’s not air conned.
However the damp in the hotel is probably a safety risk, black mould in communal hallways and in the bedrooms. Obviously for he price we don’t expect the most modern rooms but we do expect the, to be clean which unfortunately they were far from. Lots of dust, stains, holes in bedding, stained bedding and grey towels. The bathroom had lots of scum. The fridge had dirty water at the bottom.
We also had to change rooms due to black water coming from shower, we were offered little compensation but a plate with some melon was left in our room and little apology.
A nice hotel but needs a lot of TLC before we recommend anyone to stay.

When i decided to take my whole family (my parents, my brother's family, my wife and kids), i just trust this hotel and directly contacted the person who help me in my last stay in this hotel, Mrs. Dewi. She knows what exactly i needed, and prepared everything perfectly without my detailed explanation (including preparing a ball for our kids to play in the garden area).
The food was great, but honestly the pastry's (croissant, pancake, waffle) taste was not consistent each days (sometimes great, sometimes just okay). I heard they changed their chef so i think that's why. But overall still a great experience of breakfast everyday for my whole family.
The new thing about this hotel that wasn't there in my last stay, is the sunday market. That event make our stay more exciting and enjoyable without going out from hotel a whole day in sunday.
The other hotels may have better views, better locations, better facilities, better room rates etc, but i would recommend this hotel because of those too. Means, this hotel have the best balance of views from rooms, location and parking space (very important for road tripper like us), facilities that are family friendly, and -best value for money- rates.
Looking forward for our next stay here!

When you enter the lobby, the open-air, quiet and fresh will give you a pleasant vibes. The check-in was smoothly! The reception staff (the girl but sorry I forgot your name) is very nice and details although I should wait for the room is ready (around 30 min).
When I enter the room, it was spacious, clean and comfort! (the pics on the website dont lie HAHA). Stayed on the 5th floor with a gorgeous views on the balcony made me feel alive🫣.

We have suite room that could accommodate 2 adults and 2 children below 5 years old. However, you can add 1 extra bed in the suite for additional 1 person. Connecting (Deluxe) rooms are also available, that can comfortably accommodate families of 4.
