Grand Zuri Kuta is a great value for money hotel on the outskirts of Kuta ... at about $50AUD for a superior room and breakfast you can’t beat it for a short Kuta stay. It’s a long way from the beach which is why the price is so cheap for almost a four star hotel.
The breakfast buffet is absolutely amazing. I’d rate the best I’ve ever had. In a lovely poolside restaurant, probably 15 different Indonesian dishes, a few Indian dishes plus dozens of accompaniments plus all the usual egg styles cooked for you, breads, pastries, cakes, fruit, juices, coffee, etc. amazing!
Being upgraded from a superior room to an extremely large 2 room apartment, the quality for the price was exceptional. The only downside was that the rugs and furniture were badly stained and both needed a thorough clean. Other than that it was lovely.
We also were confronted by an administrative issue that was passed on to us. When I added breakfast to my booking online, booking.com debited my credit card but didn’t pass on the Virtual Credit Card payment to Grand Zuri, even though they amended the booking with them. On arrival Grand Zuri told me to sort it out and contact booking.com, which I thought they should have done. Anyhow we sorted it.
But overall a lovely experience if you’re here for an overnight stay.

Self drive and stay over night, at grand zuri Kuta, Cek in time already mid night, was on jet lag, cek in process was faster than expected.
Was so tired and I realize next morning I lost my phone, after up and down to check my phone, and I decided to leave the hotel, luckily asking if hotel staff found my lost phone.

I finalised on this hotel after going through so many positive reviews. But I was disappointed. The room space is okay and they don’t have any wardrobe to keep your clothes or stuff. The toilet doesn’t even have a power point for plugging your shaving devices or a hair dryer. The breakfast buffet is not good, though looks elaborate but nothing tastes good including the desserts. The breads served are too dry. For a 4 star hotel it wasn’t up to the mark and cost.

This hotel is one of the best choices to stay at. I stayed there for almost 4 days. I got a great room, and the balcony view was amazing.
Their housekeeping team had cleaned the room, changed my bedsheet to a bath towel, and replaced the water bottles over the course of four days. On my first day, one of the restaurant staff helped me to find a seat to enjoy my breakfast because there was a huge check-out at that time and everyone was in a hurry to finish breakfast. On the second day, Ms. Anik was there with a fantastic smile to welcome everyone, and we took a photo.
Their indomie vegetable noodles were so tasty for my dinner that I ordered it twice on my second day. Hats off to the chef.
Mr. Surya and Ms. Algi (she is the best singer) and Ayi, who were very very helpful because for days I was eating the same noodles as my dinner. Ms. Algi and Chris came to my room personally to inform me that dinner was ready. Also,
the restaurant manager, Lanank, was always there to assist us with a great smile. His knowledge and personality are really appreciated.
Check out was handled by my receptionist Ferry, in a smooth manner without delay.
Before saying goodbye to them, we took selfies. Even their security brother took a selfie with me.
I was so happy.
They had become a family. It's nice
to meet you guys.

Recently, I stayed at the Grand Zuri hotel in Bali. The hotel space is also very large, the swimming pool is very large and I really like swimming. During my stay, the staff here were very sociable and friendly. In particular, Anik helped me while I was there very thoughtfully and enthusiastically. Another employee whose name I don't remember brought breakfast to my room, along with the room cleaner who always cleaned the room while I was there even though I don't remember their names. It's great that the hotel has dedicated staff. I remember a staff member asked me about the quality of service and how I felt when staying at the hotel. It was surprising that the hotel had such dedicated staff. Staff thoughtfully thinks about customers.

We stayed here in the executive suite for 3 days. The suite has a living room and a bedroom and single bathroom. The bathroom has hair drier (fixed), and there is no other plug point. We had to take turns to charge our phones on the single socket that was as per what we use in India. During check in we were told that we will get a fruit basket since we had taken the suite. We had to remind the front desk couple of times for same, and when they arrived they were not quality. I requested to talk to transport desk for planning trips to Kuta and Ubud. The reception connected me on call to a driver. It was difficult to understand what he said on call -accent and all that . The reception lady took our number and said the driver will share all details on chat which did not happen despite couple of reminders at the desk. We even went out in the city on foot trying to locate transport agencies that can arrange tour for us. Not a welcoming experience for us. The location of the Hotel is in a very quiet area, almost desolate. There is a superstore and bakery nearby, other than that the lively markets, good restaurants are quiet some distance away. There are frequent snatchings also in this area, we were asked to be careful while walking on the road. We stayed here for 3 days, the breakfast menu has many items, maybe it is my Indian palate , I did not like most of it. They had what they labelled as Indian food for breakfast and it was something I had never eaten in India! There was a slush (made of some flour not semolina) with no condiments they called it upma (terrible does not do justice to it). They made something like peta bread and called it parantha....I could go on.
There is always bread butter to fill up your stomach I guess. The pool is nice, it would be better if they had a proper changing room also. Walking back to room dripping is not ideal. The so called changing area (with no door) has a transparent glass roof!!! The beach is not so far in terms of kms but you have to take a cab, and the traffic is very slow.

Friendly and quick room services.
Great room facilities along with pool gym and spa.
The staff is excellent and cooperative
Special shout out to Melati from morning shift and Kris from evening shift.
The breakfast is excellent which includes a variety apart from bali cuisine.
Location of hotel is perfect coz it not far from beach and there in pleasant surrounding .
No problem for renting bikes or car coz the hotel can arrange for you at the market price.
Also pool is quit big enough
Speciality is the customer services , infrastructure, breakfast, bike and car facilities.

Came here for swimming. The pool is best for people who still learning to swim. The depth is 120cm. The swimming package is worth the money. Only aud 5, you can use the swimming pool, towel and fried rice. The F&B staffs (Nidia and Ayu) are friendly. Thank you Grand Zuri Kuta
