Modern hotel, rooms clean and air conditioning cold! Great location, only a walk either to the clubs or beach: Hilton broad walk. Money exchanger in the lobby with really good exchange rates. Lovely pool, awesome pool bar with lots of atmosphere and really friendly staff. Buffet breakfast with a nice selection of food. Only downside would be if you were looking...

Not a top class motel but by all standards, clean and tidy and fairly hard to fault. One downside is the 1,000,000 Rupiah deposit required on check-in which if not offset by expenses during the stay takes a couple of weeks post check out to be refunded. Someone making a sly coin here - but it goes with the territory...

Great pools, plenty of sunbaking and umbrellas, easy towel pickup and return Breakfast could be better, but still good quality, very clean Our safe didn't work when we arrived but it was eventually fixed after the third phone call. Floor staff are friendly, the reception and bar staff could use some interpersonal skills. Room was very spacious, TINY bar fridge...

What a fantastic place once again. I just spent two fantastic weeks here again. It's my 5 trip to Barong. I have to say the service and staff only have got better. I highly recommend this place. It has a nice quiet pool and a bit of a party pool. 2 swim up bars and fantastic lagoon pool rooms. Walk...

Stayed for 5 nights for our honeymoon. Stay was terrible! Very noisy hotel! Had a lagoon access room but couldn't use our pool steps as they were covered in drunk football players or empty stubbies! Lagoon Pool was overcrowded with drunk people and people taking drugs all the time. Lots of telling and screaming at all hrs of the day...

Most of what I can say has already been said; the Grand Barong is a very clean and modern hotel right in the centre of the Kuta/Legian action. if you exit the front lobby, on Poppies 2, and turn right, it is a 3 minute walk to Jalan Legian. If you turn left it is an 8 minute walk to...

The staff here were absolutely fabulous, friendly and very welcoming even organised airport pick up when we arrived just after 12am. The hotel is clean and rooms spacious, we had a Lagoon Pool Access Room which was great, lagoon bar was a little noisy at night but we left tv on and it wasn't as noticeable. Only downsides would be...

Stayed here in September with a family member. Check in was seamless, however you will be asked for a $100 deposit/bond to cover incidentals. If you go over this $100 by charging either drinks or food to your room, a bill is swiftly slipped under your door reminding that your account is no longer I credit and to please pay...
