The Kana my favourite when I visited Bali before Covid still going strong even so they got smashed hard that terrible time during covid some of the restaurants on the front and the a lot activities isn’t functioning but they still working hard to bring it back the old atmosphere. Saying that the room still comfortable during my stay for 5 nights the shower still clean and good water pressure. Room Clean everyday the the dedicated stuff always on spot doing there job with big smile. The breakfast fantastic option even so the place small the stuff there to doing everything they can to make you more comfortable , had lunch and dinner during my stay again amazing food but the size it very small I rather make it a good size increase the price than just having kid size meal for adult hope they need improvement on that department. I had reservations for front desk male stuff working there they need to step up like the restaurant stuff and the room attendant the front desk the backbone of the hotel. overall The Kana still going strong you will not regret staying here by staying here you support the the people working here and the recovery will be fast . One thing Covid can’t felled to do is the hospitality’s and a nice smile the stuff working here definitely will be back my next Bali visit.

The staff were very friendly and pleasant. They greet you with a small snack and fruity drink when you arrive. The rooms were your typical hotel rooms, clean, open and accommodating. They provided a new water bottle each day so you don't have to worry about the tap water issue. I recommend getting the breakfast at the hotel, it is worth the price and the food is pretty good as well. Even ordering dinner there is pretty good and fairly cheap. Location is good for if you want to walk to dinner or to the beach; however, I would suggest getting help crossing the roads cuz it can be wild. Security is provided and the hotel sits a fair distance off the main road, which gave it a safer feel. The pool area is also quite nice, very relaxing and tropical. For the price, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a decent stay in Bali.

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights. We arrived 2 hours before check in and waited for about 30minutes before we were notified that our room was ready 😊The Waiting area is really nice and comfy and staff give you a nice welcome juice while waiting. This hotel is safe and quiet, grounds are really neat, staff here are really welcoming and always smiling, we stayed at 2 other hotels before coming to Kana and did not experience service like this at the other hotels. Cleanliness of the room is 10/10, some marks in bathroom looks like it's not clean, but it's just a little dated. Breakfast was the best I have experienced in a Hotel in Bali, however lunch and dinner are a bit pricey with small portions, I would encourage to eat outside.
Due to our midnight flight, staff let us extend our stay for an extra 7 hours for about $25AUD which is pretty good. Checkin and checkout was really quick and smooth.
Overall this hotel was value for money and I would definitely be back.

The location was great for us, we rented scooters and could easily go to the places we wanted. But…we stayed during low-season and even with a few guests we had 2 days that the room was still not cleaned by evening. And when our room was cleaned the ‘new’ towels where not clean at all. They even smelled like smoked meat. Our airconditioning broke down and started to leak fluids. When we gave notice to the personnel they told us to wait and told us that a repairman would come the next day…no compensation for the night without airco whatsoever. Price versus quality this hotel is definitely not worth it! And for sure this is NOT a 4 star hotel.

The Kana Kuta hotel is probably the best hotel iv stayed at in Bali. Unfortunately I only had 2 days in this wonderful property. The cleanliness is super the food is awesome but the staff are incredibly nice and so professional and their friendly attitude made my stay amazing, nothing was too much trouble for the staff in particular one of the reception staff "Dika"he is the utmost considerate and kind person who went out of his way to make sure all the guests staying at the hotel were comfortable and was always on hand to call a taxi or give excellent advice on the best places to go in Bali I will definitely stay in this hotel again when I return to Bali it's truly fantastic.

We found this hotel when our flight was cancelled due to the CrowdStrike meltdown. Pretty much the airline said find your own hotel. This place was very accommodating and the included breakfast was delicious. Made to order pancakes ❤️ Centre of everything and very secure.

This hotel is very good. It is located in a nice silent area, not among the crowded streets, but you can reach them in 2 minutes( by bike or car). rooms are fresh and cozy, room service does their work excellent. everyday renew bottles of water/teeth brushes etc. The breakfast buffet is very nice. Everyday you have something new to choose. Poolside restaurant also is adorable. But all what was mentioned could not be possible without amazing friendly and helpful staff of the hotel. Everybody starting from the security/reception/ waiters/room service very extra nice and helpful ! We had a late flight so when we checked out, we asked reception to leave our luggage in the hotel and they put it into the luggage room where we also used the scales :) so, I highly recommend The Kana Kuta Hotel to everybody coming to Bali!

Very good resort. On arrival we were greeted promptly and offered a towellete with drinks, very refreshing. The staff was super attentive and exceptionally friendly. Everyone was very courteous and always available to provide excellent service. The breakfast was exceptional. Everyday it had different variety with local cuisine. The room was nice with basic amenities. The location is very convenient to the beach (20 minutes walk) and a huge mall about 20 minutes walk. The hotel provides free shuttle service to various locations around Bali. The resort is very quiet, away from the beach crowd. The onsite restaurant has an excellent deal on Rijsttafel. It is a spread of 20 distinct dishes are very affordable price. Two of were able to eat from one order. Other items on the menu are also very good and reasonably priced.

Well what can I say. After reviewing the booking dot com reviews and the hotel rating we decided to spend the last few days in Bali here. What a disappointment. The room was not I consider or would accept as a 4 star rating. The shower had a grubby white curtain. Plastic mat on the shower floor, which you needed as you would have slipped and broke a bone otherwise. The laminate edges on the benches and fixtures were worn broken or just in an unkept standard not of the rating I expect. The mirror was so aged it’s had lost its edge. The luggage rack was falling apart.
You walk out in the street and it’s a food 10-15 min walk to anything remotely looking like tourist focused.
We had paid for 3 nights and left at 9am the next morning after arriving at 8pm the previous night.
The breakfast didn’t even serve bacon and was limited. I’m not expecting the Hilton but give me a break. Not of the standard I’d expect of a 4 star facility. Still waiting on a refund. Happily now situated at the Pullman. Miles in front. ID rate us a 10 star in comparison.

Dear atravelbag75, Thank you for sharing your recent experiences on Trip Advisor I am sorry to hear that your stay didn't meet your expectation. The Kana Kuta is located 5 minutes walk from Galeria Shopping Center, 15 minutes drive from Kuta Beach and 20 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport. We provide free drop off shuttle service to Kuta area twice a day at 11 am and 4 pm. We are not a beach front and certainly not a 5 star hotel (such as Pullman) which has almost triple room rate higher than our's. Most of our guests found our room rate is value for money compare to similar hotel category in the area, we have slightly bigger rooms sized and variety of buffet breakfast rotation including beef bacon (we don't serve pork). For your information that we are still in the refund process for the rest of nights which you didn't take. Hotel located near to Kuta market which is good place to explore. Hotel has well trained staff and ask for recommended lunch and dinner options as they provide 25% discount. Breakfast is a must try....

I dont think do, the food offering in the hotel restaurant waz amazing you could take food back to your room to eat. But would gave to ask at reception for knives and forks and a plate. Sorry
There are more places to choose from in the Kuta area.
