We came across Zia as we were staying in a nearby hotel that was not up to our standards. After a walk around the neighbourhood, we approached the staff at Zia to enquire about reserving a room, and find out a bit about the facilities. The staff were absolutely fantastic! Particularly Komang Trisna and his entire team. Komang walked us round the entire hotel, to show us the rooms, gym, pool facilities and talk us through what we get if we stayed with them.

Komang Trisna and his team were not only welcoming but also so accommodating when reserving rooms for our friends who were joining us at a later stage, but also holding rooms for us at the hotel in Kuta after we had visited Gili islands and also Ubud. Komang Trisna also arranged for our larger bags to be stored at the hotel whilst we visited the Gili Islands with smaller ruck sacks.

Zia was a home away from home and a great base for us to stay at and return to with no fuss at all.

The the price was an amazing value for what you get during your stay, the hospitality, and how wonderful everyone was at the hotel!

A very comfortably sized room, with a very comfortable bed, clean bathrooms, warm showers, pool and gym! And the icing on the cake the great staff! You couldn’t really ask for much more! We are very happy customers and would recommend for anyone to stay here!

The location is fantastic, 5 min walk to the beach, convenient stores, traditional market, and restaurants such as yoshi nova, KFC, Mcd, our local cuisines such as roast pig, and our favorite warung chef bbq ribs restaurant.

The room is quite spacious, surprisingly has a gym and rooftop pool. Pool seems clean. Gym equipment is a bit dated, some not working. Fridge not working but was replaced quite quickly when asked.

Room is clean, has a nice size window overlooking the city n garden. Location is safe to walk at night. Can improve on the shower water shower for constant pressure, as is, a little slow at times. Tv is not clear. Ac is good. The room and floor access security system is very good. Just tap the key card on lift's panel and it goes to the right floor, no need to touch any buttons. Simple, secure, n convenient.

Staff were fantastic. Courteous and well trained. The duty manager, Komang, definitely did a great job managing the hotel. Kudos to him n his staff. Not knowing Komang was the manager at first, I took a lot of his time asking about Bali tour and he patiently helped. With a smile. My last patient and professional interactions with hotel staff was my stay at the Marriott. Komang even helped me called up Intercontinental Sanur for booking even though a different hotel.

Took a private day tour with the Zia. No need to check outside vendors as Zia price is lower. Most importantly, we felt secure since the driver is a hotel staff

The nightly price is very very affordable. Did not try their breakfast as we prefer eating out local fares. Overall, a very good stay.

Definitely a re-stay. And we did. We stayed a second time back after Ubud.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Hotel’s staff were really helpful and friendly when we check-in at midnight, especially pak Kresna. We satisfied with their new normal protocol, when arrived we have temp check, they scan our Rapid test result and we have room protect with sticker that already desinfectan. Hot water in the morning provided only at 6am to 8 pm. Nice swimming pool at the rooftop with 360 view, we can see GWK, Kuta beach, Mount Agung that was excellent.

My first impressions weren't good as my room smelt of cigarette smoke and the American breakfast was basic "but" when you put these minor issues side you will enjoy the gr8 hospitality, the staff are gr8.

The location of hotel is perfect, 10 min walk to beach or night life.

Bed is comfortable.

Room is spacious

Internet is acceptable.

If you're from South Africa, the price per night is roughly R200 including breakfast.

You won't get that rate in Thailand anymore...

Tips.. Turn right as you go out hotel and you will see a Japanese take away place on corner, there after KFC, Burger King etc. From there at T-Junction, turn left and you will find the beach.

Continue for 500 meters and you'll see Beach Walk Mall.

We, a family of 6 people including 2 children of 7 years, stayed in Hotel Zia, Kuta from 11 October 2022 through 16 October 2022. The hotel was very good with several amenities. The staffs are very helpful and cooperative. The rooms are very much neat and clean, the hotel is well maintained. The rooftop swimming pool is also very nice. The breakfast is worth of its cost.

The view from the rooftop is awesome! One can get the view of the sea and also the Garuda Wishnu statue from here.

The location of the hotel is also an added advantage - the Kuta beach is just 5 - 6 min walk and there are many restaurants and food stores including McDonalds nearby. A number of departmental stores are also available in this location.

We will highly recommend to stay in here!

When I booked this hotel it was supposedly a 4 star hotel, not sure when that was given to them but it’s at max a 3 star (looks to be a Holiday Inn Express preciously)

As everywhere in Bali the people are really friendly and helpful but the hotel itself is not good.

I planned on staying for 10 nights plus a week later in the month, after 1 night I cancelled it all. The room was not clean, stains on the bedsheets, towels, etc. and the place itself is really noisy. They offered to change rooms and bedsheets/towels but I declined as I shouldn’t need to ask for these to be clean. As for the noise, I get they can’t control the bikes and barking but just be aware that this is on a main street between other hotels.

Location wise it’s really good but there are so many other hotels in the area.

Lovely place to stay, all staff were very much supportive and cordial , excellent hospitality.
One point I would like to suggest is that room service should have a separate number to connect this will improve room service capability. At the moment what is happening is that for room service one has to dial reception for any order and reception then passing this order to room service person and due to this service is getting delayed. Another point is to think of Making washrooms more cleaner and some added , amenities.
Overall it was a comfortable stay with homely atmosphere.

Best Location, very near to many attraction such as kuta beach, legian, discovery, so we easily choose our destination just by foot and the room is quite. The breakfast is the most delicious rather than other hotel i've ever stay including any other 5 star hotel, but when the brakfast is crowded, so many foods that empty and we need to wait for long. Almost all of the hotel staff is good and polite but theres 1 receptionist girl at night that doesn't have emotion control. First time she's polite but when we ask to repeat some information, her tone is growing up.

Our hotel located in a between Kuta and Legian , that is way its only walking distance to both area . About the breakfast , thank you in a bunch for a good review in taste . But we still need improvement about quality control about the refiil of food. Will concern to this matter when the breakfast is crowded. The whole tour was very amazing and enjoyable! Pak Novri, our driver is very knowledgeable with all the Bali cultures and places that are very popular for tourist. He knows his way around Bali and always avoid the congested road so that we can reach to our destinations earlier. He is also very friendly and always tries to entertain us throughout the ride. Every staff we met was very friendly and always greeted, they were happy to help when we had trouble pressing the elevator button.
The hotel is small but very quiet and comfortable, the cleanliness and tidiness of the rooms are also considered. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, what I paid exceeded expectations. Thank you Zia team!!
