The hotel is clean, modern, and the staff are wonderful. The rooms are spacious with a great walk in shower and cleaned daily. I thought the only downside was that the rooms were very dark in the bathroom and hallway areas, maybe the lighting needs adjusting slightly. Lots of mirrors but you couldn't see anything!

The restaurant catered for breakfast, lunch and evening meals. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of variation each day and always plenty of food no matter what time you arrived between 7-10am. Food prices were decent and comparable to eating out elsewhere.

The pool was beautiful and clean; however, I think they over-treated it with chemicals as I got a green tinge on my skin and nails each day. Nothing drastic but something to point out.

The hotel is in a busy area within Kuta, a short walking distance to the beach and has a lot of food and shopping nearby. There is the Lippo Mall across the road and it has a supermarket and eateries on the lower floor. The only negative is that the Mall has a band playing really loud music each night but they always finished playing around 10.30pm so it’s not too bad.

The communication of the hotel was second to none. We emailed them to arrange their courtesy pickup from the airport prior to arrival and they responded promptly to our request.

Overall, the friendliness of the staff at the hotel made it a great holiday for us. Big shout out and thanks to Dewi and all the staff :)

We travelled as a family from Perth meeting other family from Dublin and spent 10 days at The Vira. We had 2 pool access rooms and this was amazing travelling with 2 young children that wanted to spend their days in the pool.

The hotel was spotless, the staff were personal, approachable and always smiling! The location was brilliant and we enjoyed having the music at Lippo Mall although preferred to sit at Dip Dock Grill at the hotel as the food in the hotel was incredible and we actually ate there most nights/days.

What stood out about this hotel was the friendliness of all the other hotel guests and I think I would struggle to return to a large resort in Bali now after experiencing the difference of staying at this beautiful boutique hotel.

Our trip was faultless other than maybe our hair going green from the pool (blonde problems). Pick up from airport and drop off was fantastic also.

We can not wait to return to this hotel again although I hope not too many find out about this little gem of a hotel so we can always get a room.

The staff are ever so friendly and welcoming, the rooms are excellent especially with the up graded bathrooms and all rooms having a balcony overlooking the pool makes t so enjoyable to relax and enjoy a drink. The resturant and cood is of high quality with great service by all staff and especially Dewi who is a true leader,i cannot fault it. and look forward to staying their again soon.

Stayed one night in 2 rooms (interconnecting) with 2 children and 2 adults on level 3. The rooms were clean, large and beds super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic food and service. The location was 10 mins away from the airport and across the road from the Lippo Centre. There are restaurants across the road, supermarket, bottle shop and atms. I do have agree with most that the service is friendly and pretty good. This hotel suited us as a transit hotel when arriving late from Australia. Although could be tempted to stay longer. Really recommend for the value, location and service

We stayed 9 days at the Vira Hotel and I con't have anything to complain about! The hotel was so clean, the rooms were a good size, everyone was so nice with us and smiling. I was so suprised how good the food was for a hotel's restaurant. We ate there brekky, lunch and dinner and it was so tasty and good.

The breakfast was included in the accomodation's price and you had a lot to choose from. 7 bowls with warm food, they did pancakes or your choice of eggs for you, salad, fruits, juice, coffee and tea, pastry.

Someone said on Google reviews that they don't serve free coffee at breakfast: they do, but they have a regular coffee from a coffee machine. If you want speciality coffee you have to pay, but the prices are really good.

The pool was clean and the restrooms at the pool were cleaned every hour. The SPA therapy was also nice, had a relaximg massage.

The only thing is they have a very small gym (if you are interested in working out). It's a bit claustrophobic and they only have 3 things (a threadmill, a bike and a multi-functional).

It's close to the airport and you get free shuttle and acros the road you have a mall with a supermarket.

Vira Bali was very accommodating as we arrived after midnight due to flight delays and our driver was waiting as were the check in staff. Arrival drink even at 1am! Rooms well air conditioned and clean. Everything we needed, breakfast, central pool, nice restaurant and across the road from a mall. The food truck style mall do have live music at night which is great (unless you are being boring and going to bed) so might be a consideration with infants. Location is easy to go anywhere and you could walk from the airport but why would you when the driver takes you anyway in his beautiful airconditioned car. We also attended the traditional Balinese music and dancing they had booked during dinner. Lovely accommodation.

We had a great stay at this hotel - very satisfied on all fronts. The rooms are super comfortable and clean. The hotel has a new and modern feel. There is a very good variety of tv channels even during pandemic time.

Our room looked onto the catholic church and pool - it was a delight to hear the choir practising their christmas carols. We were not disturbed by music from the lippo mall (as other reviews mentioned) - with the balcony door closed not at all disturbing and in any case ended by 9pm.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The pool and pool area are very comfortable.

All in all a great place to stay.

The breakfast menu while good, was more suited to Indonesian tastes but understandable at this time because almost all guests were domestic.

Clean rooms, very friendly staff and ok breakfast. Really nice with a feet pool infront of the hotel, nice way to cool yourself :-)

The driver was at the airport and waited for us like we'd agreed. It was really awesome that the hotel is close to the airport when you've been traveling for many hours and you just want to lay down and sleep.

A bit on the expensive side with foods and drinks, a large Bintang was 65k.

Last stayed at The Vira in November 2019 and we were back again for a week in March 2020. Love this hotel which feels like a second home. Staff are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Rooms and hotel grounds are spotlessly clean and the shower is so good (better than mine at home). We usually stay in the same room each time on the second floor overlooking the pool. There can be some noise from the music across the road at night, but it always finishes on time at 10pm. Lippo Mall is directly across the road, with Gold Class cinema. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to my next stay there.

Great hotel in a central part of Kuta only 10 minutes from airport. Across the road from Lippo Mall with a supermarket, 5 minutes walk to Discovery Mall and walking distance to Kuta Beach.

The staff were excellent especially Riri who worked in the restaurant. They accommodated a change in rooms as we were travelling with our children who are in their late teens (19 and 16). They also left a birthday message for my husband which was really sweet (see pic below). The breakfasts were great and catered to everyone and the restaurant food was also very good.

The only criticism was the bed that we had was way too hard as the mattress was new although the staff did their best to try and fix this straight away with a mattress topper which didn't help much.

I recommend booking an extra night at the hotel if you are catching a late flight (ours was at midnight) as it gave us somewhere to put all our luggage and freshen up before flying.
