Reading the customer reviews, we were not very reassured when we arrived but it is not so. The superior rooms have a sea view and are not at all old as we could read with a shower and bathtub. The breakfast buffet in the morning is excellent with lots of choices. The pool is also nice with an atypical river shape. We had the good surprise of having vounchers on arrival for dinner, discounts on drinks and an hour-long massage offered for two people. The New Year’s meal was also included in our service. The hotel is located in the heart of the city of Kuta, close to the water park and shops. There is no direct access to the beach but it is close by leaving the hotel. Really we had a great stay at this hotel with friendly staff who pick you up and take you back to the airport graciously. The hotel is human size is quite quiet.

We do thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay here at Kuta Paradiso! Right across from the beach, 200m to Waterbom Park and near the busy Kuta shopping district, you cannot go wrong!
The entrance is grand and beautiful. You are calmed and in awe before speaking to anyone. The staff are friendly and after our welcome drink they assisted us with bags etc.
The grounds were beautiful and calming! Yet the pools were next level. Three split level pools, the top and bottom pools joining under bridges. The design and up keep of these areas were stunning. Plenty of areas to lay in the sun or seats to eat and have a drink. The staff were extremely attentive and very friendly.
The rooms were spacious, immaculately cleaned and serviced each day. There were a large TV in each room, remote controlled lighting, wifi and combined toilet and bathroom, seperate to the main living area. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toothbrushes available and replenished each day.

Stayed in a queen room overlooking the pool on the 5th floor, the room was a good size, very comfy queen bed, and great pillows. The tv worked well, though tats were the good stops. The shower pressure was ok but nothing to get excited about, my room 501 had issues with shower temp some mornings the cold tap was hot and I mean hot where you can not get in. and another morning it was ok. The telephone in the room was like it was only dialing out certain reception numbers and not all. Internet in the room was not nonexistent, however once called reception they fixed this instantly and bring up a portable wifi router, make sure you have a VPN otherwise your Facebook on your mobile will have a bar on the top asking you to add data for Tele. The room service menu is the worst, so try not to order room service, I did on a few occasions and was let down every time.
Breakfast was a great, wide selection of choices, just remember you are in Bali, and they will give you breakfast tokens when you check in.
The pool is a selling point for this resort, a great pool that covers the entire back of the resort. Drinks are at a good price, the gym is in great condition, and towels are cleaned and rolled every morning. The pool is maintained and cleaned every morning. One thing the pool does not have is a pool bar, this would be a great addition.
Heard good things about the in-house massage but I can't comment as I never had one.
Did meet a few people staying there and it seemed they all people I spoke to had their rooms for different prices, hence we were all in the same accommodation ranging from 50 a night to 151. So do some looking around to get a better deal.
Staff are exceptional, friendly, and there to help when you need it.

On arriving we had a flooded floor from the air con unit. Offered us another room smelling of cigarette smoke and mold could even see the mold on the sheer curtains.
Cleaned up original room and we finally got into that one gone 7pm
Towels are old and smell like a wet dog Bed has loads of little ants/midges all over it. Sheets had stains also old along with pillow musty and stained.
TV reception fuzzy Internet super slow certainly not good if you need to work Shower vents moldy Air con unit not clean has mold and mildew so room is damp and smells Balcony doors don’t slide Breakfast buffet doesn’t offer tea bags on the counter just weak pre made tea. No coffee machine need to ask for proper coffee and tea. Can’t put a credit card down as a deposit to order to your room need minimum $200 cash Pool is quite shaded so fairly cold all the time
Food was nice by the pool Basic toiletries Body wash/shampoo/conditioner/ shower cap / toothbrush Bingo by the pool each afternoon was fun
Hotel needs a good scrub and upgrade/repairs as it use to be quite nice but it’s been let go.
Doors banging in the hallways at all hours and being on the beach fireworks going off all ours. Not to forget the rave that started at 6am for a fun run just outside the hotel with music normally played in a nightclub at 10pm… so location not great for on going noise either.
Location close to waterbom park No beach access from the hotel need to go out the front and walk around.
Unless they clean it up and do some upgrades even to linen and towels not somewhere I would stay again. Much better places around how this gets high ratings on trip advisor I don’t know.

Dear Our Valued Guest Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m truly sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during your stay. It’s clear that the condition of the room, cleanliness, and overall maintenance fell short of your expectations. I apologize for the inconvenience with the air conditioning, mold, and the state of the towels and bedding. These are certainly not the standards we strive for, and I assure you that your comments will be addressed with urgency. I regret that our breakfast and room service policies did not meet your needs and that you found the pool area less than ideal. Your feedback about the breakfast options, internet speed, and other amenities will be taken into consideration as we work to improve our facilities. We appreciate your positive note about the food by the pool and the Bingo activity, and I’m glad to hear that you found some enjoyment there. However, I understand that the noise and lack of beach access were significant drawbacks for you. Thank you again for your detailed feedback. We are committed to making improvements and hope that in the future, we can offer a much better experience. Best regards, Rio Yudha Ecommerce Manager Kuta Paradiso Hotel

The Kuta Paradiso Hotel in Bali, Indonesia is NOT a five-star hotel. The hotel is dated and sadly it is more like a three-star hotel.
In its heyday, the Kuta Paradiso may have earned its five stars, but that was over 20 years ago.
The hotel room is dark. There needs to be more overhead and floor lighting. The bathroom is spacious and clean. However, the shower drain needs to be unclogged. There is barely any artwork on the walls and the rooms look tired.
There was very loud music playing all night behind the hotel and I could not sleep.
What bothered me most is that there were NO electric outlets in the bedroom, bathroom, or living room. The only electric outlet was in the entryway, which is at least 30 meters from the bedroom.
I had to use an extension cord from the hotel just to charge my devices (see photos)..
When I checked out of the hotel, the staff asked me to stay while housekeeping checked my room in case I left items behind. In sum, I do not recommend the Kuta Paradiso Hotel.
In spite of everything, the hotel is an excellent location for tourists, close to numerous restaurants, shopping, and entertainment.

Dear Azn Nomad Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay at Kuta Paradiso Hotel. I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We booked a Garden View room at Paradiso Kuta Hotel through Agoda, advertised as 5☆ and requested a QUIET non smoking room. When we checked in we were allocated a room overlooking a building site/rubbish dump right above a very noisy Sports Bar on one of Kutas busiest streets. The room was "reasonably" clean in general and had some functioning facilities but was very dusty and smelled damp and of cigarette smoke. There was no safe deposit box as advertised. The balcony door was ill fitting and allowed entry of many mosquitos. The bathroom door did not shut nor did the wardrobe door which caused problems as there was an automatic light in there that then remained on and we had to disable it at night. The biggest issue was the noise though... absolutely horrendous noise from the Sports Bar below until late at night, the road noise all night and the inconsiderate late arrival guests on either side who spent the time between 1am and 4am shouting into cell phones on the balconies next to us and smoking.... much of which drifted into our room through the poorly fitting door. On a positive note the breakfast was enjoyable and offered good variety, there was a large pool area with loungers that was kept tidy. The hotel in general may have once have been an acceptable place to stay but it's pretty run down now and I'd certainly suggest you look elsewhere as there are many other much better options in the area at a similar price. In all honesty I'd probably have overlooked most of the issues if only we'd been given a room on the quieter side of the hotel!

Kuta Paradiso Hotel offers a delightful stay with many commendable aspects. The staff truly stand out—kind, attentive, and always full of smiles, they bring warmth to every interaction. The food exceeded expectations, especially considering the reasonable price of the stay, offering great value for money.
The reason I’m rating this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of a nanny or babysitting service, which I find crucial for families traveling with young children. As a family with two kids, along with friends who also had small children, this missing amenity was a notable drawback. A partnership with a reputable nanny service would elevate the hotel’s family-friendly offerings significantly.
Fortunately, we discovered an exceptional solution in Alexandria and her company, Staff Link. Alexandria quickly arranged two incredible babysitters who not only spoke perfect English but also adapted seamlessly to our needs. One of our children has autism and is not the easiest to manage, but their caregivers handled the situation with remarkable professionalism and kindness, as if they had been working with him for years.
What touched us most is that Staff Link contributes a percentage of its profits to support individuals with disabilities and orphaned children in Bali—a beautiful mission deserving of greater recognition. Alexandria’s service is reliable, trustworthy, and an excellent value at just $20 AUD per hour.
For families considering Kuta Paradiso Hotel, I highly recommend reaching out to Alexandria in advance via WhatsApp at +62 857 3966 0906. Supporting her local initiative not only enhances your holiday experience but also contributes to an important cause.
Overall, Kuta Paradiso Hotel is a fantastic choice for those seeking comfort, value, and a memorable stay in Bali. With the addition of a babysitting service, it would easily become a 5-star destination for families

We had booked this hotel 4 years ago, then covid hit. So we decided to come here again. The hotel is very old and could do with a facelift. Alot of things in the room don't work properly. - shower heads calcified and loose, telephone only works occasionally, etc. We had paid for a suite believing there would be a kitchenette, there was only a fridge. We actually paid about $185 per night AUD which by Bali standards is very expensive. However, everything was spotlessly clean. However, what made the stay worthwhile was the amazing staff! Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was included which was excellent variety and choice. My husband developed Achilles Tendonitis 3 days into our holiday and the young waiter who had very good English, rang sports clinics to find a place that sold sports tape. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Would I stay again? I would love too but it is just too expensive. The photos on the website have been taken from angles that make alot of things look bigger and better than they actually are. E.g. the pool area is quite small but consists of several small pools linked and on a couple of tiers. Very pretty but very small.

Room was very tired, lamp should have been white, covered in dust, needed an antibacterial wipe to reveal the colour. No safe in the room, only put in room on demand, with one bolt, room needed upgrade badly, hotel pool and surrounds needs repairing. Breakfast was good, staff very good and friendly and helpful. Staff were trying to polish wood that was very dry on stair cases. We have stayed at this hotel many times, but this was the most run down we had ever seen it.

My wife and I stayed here recently on honeymoon. There was a don’t clean room sign left on the door but on Christmas day while we were out our room was cleaned. We noticed on the 26th that a bag containing a camera and other items was gone. We approached manager and they immediately got defensive and said the bag wasn’t removed. They then came into our room with security and searched all our bags and accused us of lying. I then asked could I see the camera that was pointing in the direction of our room door only to be told it wasn’t working even do I could see the red light on it. We knew we weren’t getting anywhere so we went back to our room. On leaving the hotel a short time later we noticed about 5 members of staff around a computer screen, so we went to investigate. Sure to be hold they were looking at the camera that was supposedly not working. The manager didn’t want us looking at the screen and wanted us to sit the other side of the table, but we refused. It was clear from the camera that the cleaner removed the bag from our room and put it in the bin. What’s strange is he removed 3 bags from our room of which 2 are rubbish but one was full of goods including a black sports bag containing a camera. The 2 rubbish bags were just put straight into the bin but the one containing the goods was emptied out meaning he say what he was supposedly disposing of. To make management take it seriously we said our passport was in the black sports bag which it wasn’t it just contained a new camera. After arguing with the manager she finally rang the man that cleaned the room and he was able to confirm that he did throw away the black sports bag but it didn’t contain any passport. So, if he knew it didn’t contain a passport he obviously saw the camera and other items. We got nowhere with the manager who might I add I have never seen a person to sweat so much in my entire life. The next morning we went to a new manger and requested to meet the man that cleaned the room. I showed him a picture of the black sports bag and he said he saw it and through it out. He then went on to say it didn’t contain a passport but not a word on the camera. As we were speaking to him he just decided to end the conversation and answer his phone and talk to them.
