Great place with a lovely view, great aircon room, amazing surf instructors, cheap mopeds, tasty large breakfast, free yoga and some awesome people. Shame it has no swimming pool - but didn't detract from experience at all. Good location for exploring.

As I'm writing this I'm actually sitting on the balcony of the Bali style bungalow at Kamafari that I've been living in for the last week. I went here because a friend I met surfing in Spain recommended it. As the headline suggests my stay here has had its ups and downs. There is definitely potential here but some things... More

It's truly a family, the Kamafari-Family. We felt warmly welcome from the first moment till the last. The rooms are basic and fine, the bathroom (shared with another room) is big. We loved the view from the bungalows. The meals provided are very delicious - especially the curry on sunday :-) We loved the dinner as a daily 'meeting point'... More

My stay at Kamafari was a great moment in my surf trip to Bali! The place is very clean (most important for me in a hostel), rooms are nice typical balinese bungalows so no need to have AC and it is very well situated in the middle of all the surf spots. The staff is very welcoming and always smiling... More

Where to start? I stayed 3 weeks in this perfect little surf camp with an endless flux of people coming in and out providing new friendships every week! The camp was so amazing as it really embodies balinese lifetsyle... the bungalows are well equipped with two double beds upstairs and one king size bed downstairs (two different bedrooms) and outdoor...
