Magnificent Agung Mountain View. Affordable price and genuine service by the owner pak Made. Highly recommended! Me and my friends were just having afternoon snacks in their lamontagne coffee, hope will be back soon and stay in their villa.
We made a tour in the way our driver stopped in this very nice looking restaurant with wonderfull panorama they said there is buffet 125.000 rupiah we took it but what we are was noot good even fruit coffee increadable pity such very nice restaurant dont eat there only some drink or maybe only a la card maybe better
As part of the Mother Temple tour from Ubud we were pleasantly surprised to be dropped off at Mahagiri for lunch with panoramic views of rice terraces, green and soothing on the eyes. As a small group of 3 we were led to a table overlooking the fields. The buffet lunch was tasty and had some vegetarian and vegan options which suited us as we don't eat meat. Bali is great for food all round and Mahagiri didn't disappoint. The service was friendly too as was the owner who took time out to chat with us. A great lunch spot.♡
Our meal here was included in our full day tour to Besakih Temple. We were sat at the edge of the restaurant with jaw dropping views of the rice fields. The buffet food was decent enough with a reasonable amount of choice and you could go back as many times as you like. The desserts were okay basically fresh fruit or black rice pudding. The only thing we had to pay for was beer which came to 59k including tax for a large Bintang. The whole place was decorated with flowers and also has free wifi. One thing to bear in mind is that a lot of tours seem to pass by here so if your looking for somewhere a little secluded you may want to look elsewhere.
This was my 2nd time here and I regretted recommending my family members here. The last time I came 2 years ago, we ate from the menu due to buffet not available and everything was fine. This time their staff urged us to take their buffet at 100K and we thought the price was reasonable but most food tasted weird and didn't look fresh. 1st terrible experience was a dead rotting rat on the chair that was not cleared away despite having almost full house guests that day. Their pumpkin soup and bread had an additional stale "weird" taste. Fruits were little and ran out very quickly and they told us there's no more from the kitchen for refill, thought this was supposed to be a buffet ?? We made complaints to the restaurant manager who in the end gave us a discount but we still ended up paying a bill that's not worth just sampling their food. The only good thing this time is still their view of Mt Agung and the rice paddy fields, they were really fortunate to have a very good spot to attract tourists. But I won't be going for a 3rd time.…
