My family stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Bali Kuta Sunset Road location for 3 nights earlier this month. We had adjoining rooms on the 5th floor.
Location was a bit of the beaten track but there is a small grocery store across the street.
The pluses first: -Novi, Feby and Ros at the morning buffet went above and beyond by remembering the names of every member of my family. The food was delicious, there was always something to eat. My wife was able to have gluten free bread, avocados and yummy veggie shakes and my kids loaded up on fresh made crepes, pancakes and waffles. -The hot water in the shower -The shuttle driver to the Mall was so kind and engaging! -Pool or snooker table my boys spent a lot of time playing at -Large Jenga blocks my daughter had fun with -Bed made up on sofa for my daughter -Pool area was generally very peaceful -staff was a very responsive if we called housekeeping they came so quickly!!

I had the best experience in this hotel. I have stayed in many hotels, but this is the hotel that I felt the most satisfied with. The staff here were all friendly and caring for the guests. Especially when they welcomed me by calling my name at every breakfast, I felt very grateful, and the breakfast was very good. I especially want to express my gratitude to all the staff of the restaurant including Ayu and Ros. The breakfast was also excellent, and the watermelon juice I drank every day was the best. The water quality of the pool was very well managed, and I was impressed by the fact that they gave me handmade ice cream for my customers in the middle. I would really like to visit Bali again next time.

unique hotel, and easy to access anywhere, swimming pool with nice decoration from the 5th floor with a beautiful balcony view, access to the restaurant is not very far, rooms are small but neat, clean and smell good, special mention for the Rinbaw cleaning staff and I forgot the name, at breakfast I got lots of food choices, especially the unique one, the traditional cake which was very delicious, a special shout out to the hostess who always remembered our names, Fina, she served us amazingly, we also told her we liked Indonesian food because we had previously visited Padang city and she gave us a choice. The special food, one of which is chicken satay, tastes very delicious and has become a favorite food while here. I got so much experience from staying and I also got to go to the meditation waterfall and make my mind better, I love Bali and nice hote ! Great job Fina and all

rooms that do not meet Marriott standards, the location is far away, room service is not 24 hours, and the FO team seems to need more training when receiving guests and learn to read the system regarding guest bookings, I have already registered and paid and my ID card has been photographed but it has not been given the key was because the room wasn't ready, so when I came back and wanted to get the room key I was asked again when to check in, whose name and ID card I was asked to return and asked to repeat it again and the FO officer next door who realized that when my name was called, the key was ready. It was immediately given to me, my room key was double locked so I didn't enter the room, the breakfast menu didn't have a variety of food, when I checked out there was no hotel staff to help me unload my things from the lobby down even though there were quite a lot of stairs, there was only a security guard at all. just watch without offering help

Spacious and airy lobby, warm welcome by the staff. Location wise, there is Siloam Hospital across the street and some local eateries including the Gula Bali Joglo and some smaller cafe. If you drive a bigger car, it is better to park in front of the lobby as the curve of the underground parking spots is a bit tight.
As a Bonvoy Gold, I was upgraded to higher level room which is spacious and clean. I love the effort of the hotel to reduce waste by providing a big water gallon (the device put on make it easy to get water) instead of the usual bottled water provided by other hotels. Their bathroom amenities are excellent as well, branded , provided in the bigger bottle that is refillable. Instant coffees and teas are provided as well as some disinfectant tissue. The room also have a balcony and a curved sofa and table for those planning to spend some time working there. Pressure of the shower water is also very good.

My son and I stayed here for a week in August 2024 and had such a wonderful time. The rooms are simple but comfortable and were serviced six out of the eight days we stayed. We enjoyed the restaurant Jejaton very much thanks especially to Fina, who greeted us each by name, remembered our favourite foods to order, brought us surprise drinks (for being Marriott Bonvoy elite members I think) and did such an amazing job of looking after my food allergies. She liased with chef Ali to come up with a delicious breakfast option for me: see the photo of the lovely avocado salad. I appreciate Fina and Ali for keeping me healthy during the trip. There were a few other gluten free and dairy-free options at the breakfast buffet such as fresh fruit, but management might wish to provide more options for the lunch/dinner menu. On Novi's one day off, Novi and Ulan also took very excellent care of us at the restaurant and pool bar area, where my son ordered lots of strawberry milkshakes. Feby was very helpful at the front desk during checkout, making sure that we were awarded our Marriott points. I highly recommend the massage services and regret that I didn't write down the name of the ladies there. The weather was 29 degrees celsius much of our stay so the pool was refreshing, although if it were much colder people might wish for a warmer pool. I couldn't figure out the deal with the jacuzzi—sometimes it was colder than the pool, sometimes warmer. The variety of music acts at the lounge in the lobby area created a lovely evening ambience. There's a grocery store that's a 5 minute walk away if you need treats/snacks. The free internet works well. There's no chromecast on the tv so we watched our own devices. We used the in-house laundry and our clothes came out beautifully. We would love to return especially to experience the kindness of the staff including Fina, Feby, Novi, Ulan and Ali who all made us feel so special and welcome. These staff members truly elevate the experience at the hotel, especially since the building is a bit older and lacking the most modern features of some Marriotts—but the caring, helpful attitude of the staff makes the experience the best!!! Thank you Fina, Feby, Novi, Ulan and Ali plus everyone else whose names we forgot. We hope to stay with you again.

It's my second time staying here, like my first experience, I was here for business, not having enough time to explore this hotel. At this time, I could able to enjoy the gym, the pool and ofcourse jazucci.. I didnt reliaze this hotel has jacuzzi on itu.. And I was thrilled to try the jazucci. Despite I was staying with almost full occupancy, group of school and group of tour/company also staying within the same time and having spot for breakfast is quite challengubg coz everyone we're on the sametime for breakfast, the staff was very professional and could manage the sitting arrangement, and the food never empty, always quickly refilled by the staff. An amazing staff in Jedaton was Ulan, she could accomodate whatever the guest need including my need. Not to mentioner her smile and hospitality, ku DDoS to Ulan!!! Will definetely stay here again on my next visit!
