Suka Beach Inn was certainly value for money. The rooms have been refurbished tastefully. The resort is Balinese however rooms are not, you could be anywhere!!!! Good quality towels, linen, beds and pillows are used. Breakfast is extra $3.50 for fresh fruit, hot cooked breakfast and tea or coffee, great value.

The grounds were very very pretty a true Balinese experience. We arrived very late about midnight and were greeted warmly.
Pool and eating area were very clean.
The room was comfortable and spotless but we were shocked at the basic bathroom breakfast was adequate. We eventually got used to the bathroom and were comfortable.
On the whole our experience was very good and due to the character of the place we would book again.

Suka beach inn is a very famous hotel in Bali. It is really cheap, 5$ per room, clean, and fun. Many parties go on in the hotel, 90% of people is a surfer. In the hotel there is a pool, air conditioning on request, breakfast in the morning is ok but not very much. I reccomend this hotel to whom have a low budget but still wants to be in Kuta center.

Our seven-day stay at Suka Beach Inn was marred by numerous issues that eclipsed any positive aspects. The persistent problem with the faulty battery of the room key became a daily inconvenience, consuming valuable time and frustratingly dismissed by indifferent front desk staff until the 6th day when a swift battery replacement finally occurred.

The bathroom design, especially in room 122, left much to be desired. The impractical shower layout resulted in a consistently wet bathroom, including the toilet area. Additionally, the three unrepaired holes in the bathroom roof raised concerns about privacy during showers.

Breakfast at Suka Beach Inn proved disappointing, prompting us to seek alternatives nearby. The advertised free Wi-Fi was unreliable, with two out of seven nights experiencing complete darkness due to rodent-related electrical issues, also impacting our internet connection. Despite reporting the issue, the staff's nonchalant response left much to be desired.

Furthermore, the room allocation did not match our reservation for two deluxe rooms adjacent to each other. Instead, we found ourselves in completely different rooms opposite each other, further diminishing our overall experience.

While the location is promoted as a short walk to the beach, our stay at Suka Beach Inn was marred by a series of inconveniences and service lapses that overshadowed any positive aspects, making it difficult to recommend to others.

Awful hotel. Only garden was nice. My view from window was terrible. If i wanna have privacy i must close curtains because no other option.
Shower. It disgusting. The water drain is far from the shower and for water to get into it, it must wet the entire floor of the shower and toilet. If you have taken a shower and someone wants to use the toilet, they will sit knee-deep in water and wait for the water to drain. Breakfast sucks. I don’t even understand what I paid for! a tiny piece of bread and a glass of diluted juice with ice! The Internet is terrible , it is impossible to read anything from the phone, the connection is constantly lost. It is not possible for two people to sleep on the bed; it feels like you are floating on a water mattress. I highly do not recommend this hotel! It's not worth the money! This is shithotel!

The rooms were average looking & simple but not dirty at all. Lots of space.
The pool and tree's makes it feel like paradise.
The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great.
Nice little resturant/cafe next door.
Close to main shopping streets.
Not bad for under $20 a night.
I paid $7.50 AUD and that was breakfast included and just cold water showers, humid enough outside!
It would have been just $2 more for hot water.
Not bad if you ask me :)

Unfriendly young balinese man checking us in, room has very little furniture, no toilet paper in bathroom, bathroom tap has a tiny rotten handle, no bed blankets and no towels provided. I had to beg for everything extra. Also, only one powerpoint very high up the wall, so not usuable.

Some of the guest were having a constant party by the swimming pool with loud psychotic techno music playing all day and late into the night. Finally it stopped after I complained to the staff. Staff are hostile. They don't want to hear any kind of complaint or request.

After the music stopped, then the super loud talking and laughing started until about 2am in the morning, from different balconies around the hotel. The central space with swimming pool acted as an amplifier for all the noises, keeping me awake most of the night. And I am usually a heavy sleeper.

Plus points; comfortable bed, decent size room, nice big balcony, fairly cheap for Kuta (although you definately get what you pay for).

Booked three nights here with my sister but only ended up staying for one and a half... we had no bed covers or towels and the pillow I had was stinking.
The room was FILLED with bugs and moisquto’s, I’ve got more bites from this stay than I have for the three weeks I’ve been in Asia.
Yes it was cheap we paid £10 for this stay but there’s cleaner ones for £2 more in the area.
All the workers do is clean the garden from day to night which yeah is great but why don’t they focus on the bedrooms, their dirty and old and no warm water. Plus the fan wouldn’t work properly and if we put it on 5th setting it would turn off.
There’s ONE plug in the whole room and it’s in the middle of the wall by the bathroom so awkward position.
Literally the worst places we’ve stayed all month!
Just felt dirty in there, you couldn’t even see in the mirror cause it was so dirty, no one came in to clean the room once either.
Staff were not helpful or unhelpful
The WiFi is AWFUL and doesn’t work in your room and barely works by the pool
Only positive is that the pool area is pretty and they include breakfast. Me and my sister on a tight budget but have found a lot cleaner ones for same price.

I came here two years ago and I had a nice stay even though our neighbours were blasting Bollywood songs till 4am.

This summer though was a bad experience. We arrived in our room and were greeted by no less than 10 cockroaches.
Once we managed to eliminate them all, we went to sleep .... only to wake up to find out I had been stung all over by BED BUGS.

Needless to say we packed our bags and left.

Kuta is not one of the nicest places to stay in Bali, but if you have to stay there and wanna save your money for other better things then i recommend you Suka Inn.
The rooms are clean and big, and as long as they dont put you above the bar like they did to me the first night, you gonna be reasonable okey.
I mean this is in the heart of Kuta and theres noisy bars with bad live music everywhere...so Kuta is not the place for peaceful sleep thats for sure. Try to insist on a room as far as back as possible.
Beside that, the pool is nice to swim and chill in and breakfast is good, so what else you need ?
Good location cause close walking distance to everything you need.
