Hotel is spotless and clean, complete with everything you need, nice pool and amenities, feels like my second home. Staff were amazing, accommodating and helpful with my daily transportation and airport transfer. They arranged everything instantly. Will definitely recommend this hotel. Location is quiet and safe, although not close but accessible to big shopping street and malls. short walk to Lippo mart, Church and restaurants. I booked for 7nights because it was rated fabulous and truly deserving. My only regret was I have to use another hotel for my last night because they are fully booked since early Oct.

Thank you for your recent stay and generous feedback. We're glad that you loved your holiday with us. An early booking is recommended for Christmas - New Year holiday as the hotel is usually fully booked as with flights to Bali. On behalf of all the staff, I wish you the very best for 2024 and look forward to having you again on your next Bali holiday. Best wishes, Paulus Wibowo General Manager

This was a surprise! If you research, you can walk here from the airport, avoiding the cost of being driven a few hundred metres! Very clean, large minimalist rooms where everything works! And the bed was a dream! Large, comfy and great quality linen. A rooftop pool with views and an ope lobby. The lively Tuban foreshore is steps away. The large balcony overlooks the street and overall I was very happy with this hotel. Unpretentious, modern, and a fine place to stay near beach AND airport.

Response from Paulus Wibowo, General Manager at Sulis Beach Hotel & Spa
Responded 8 Nov 2023
Dear Mr Goodey Christoper Thank you for your overnight stay on 4 November 2023 and for reaching out to my personal email with your concerns about Totok - one of the hotel’s security guards. An email reply was sent to you in the evening of 5 November. First of all, please accept my apology for the inconvenience you and your girlfriend experienced. It seemed several misunderstandings happened on your stay. Although there were 2 adults in your room booking by an online travel agent which was made at the same evening you arrived, you only checked in as 1 person. I took the liberty to check the CCTV and the front desk’s audio recording; you did not mentioned about your girlfriend going to come later to stay with you. When your girlfriend came to the hotel, she did not tell the front desk to acknowledge her check-in. Instead, she went directly into your room as though a normal hotel guest. As your room’s registration was only made for 1 person, another unregistered guest (i.e. your girlfriend's sister) alerted Totok when she came to the hotel for your room at late night. Please note that by law every guest must fill out a room registration with a valid ID and the receptionist digitally transmits the registration details to the Immigration office and Police precinct as soon as check-in process is completed. Once the data is transmitted, it can't be edited nor omitted digitally. Totok had to manually revise your registration details at the Police precinct after his work shift ends. A service fee of Rp 50K was then requested by Totok which is commonly applied in Bali (it is equivalent to AUD 5 only) as such effort usually takes time. This might have been not explained clearly to your girlfriend’s sister; this service fee is not a rule of the hotel but directly goes to the security for his efforts after his work hours to rectify your registration data. Nevertheless, as soon as your girlfriend requested for a refund, Totok transferred the money back in full to your girlfriend's sister (his bank transfer receipt was attached in the email I sent you as your reference). I will coordinate the reception and the security teams for a better communication in future with regards to hotel guests with unregistered companion(s). With best wishes, Paulus Wibowo General Manager

This room for the price was exeptional. Very comfortable bed and pillows, clean, large room with all the amenities. The staff were very nice and welcoming and had a wealth of information about anything I asked. The breakfast wasn't great however so I would suggest finding somewhere else close by but that won't be a problem because of the location, you are spoiled for choice. Close to everything most tourists like - shopping, beaches, cafes and airport and a bit quieter than most of Kuta.

Great location close the the airport - ideal for an early flight. The rooms were lovely, spacious with a nice bathroom. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. We had a quick dip in the pool - nice pool and temperature - the surrounds were a bit ordinary, plastic grass which is hot underfoot. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. I would prefer to pay more and get something better. Fruit plate came out with cling wrap over it. Obviously prepared much earlier as the fruit was not freshly cut. Cheese jaffle - stodgy white bread with a piece of plastic cheese. Not good. Breakfast is a easy thing to get right. With this sorted it would be an excellent place to stay.

Response from Paulus Wibowo, General Manager at Sulis Beach Hotel & Spa
Responded 25 Aug 2023
We're sorry that our breakfast selections did not meet your liking. There are 12 set menu selections available for breakfast as outlined in the official hotel website under RESTAURANT. Fruits are freshly cut every morning (1 hour before the breakfast time) and packed onto plates for hygiene purposes and easy serving. Plain bread is used for our cheese jaffles as outlined in the breakfast menu. Should you wish to stay with us again in near future, please opt for ROOM ONLY with your hotel booking (the cheaper available option). After you are in Bali, you can later decide to have breakfast with us again or elsewhere at the surrounding hotels. Their buffet breakfast is available for public with affordable price (ranging from as low as AUD 10 per person to the more expensive hotel with AUD 30 per person). Despite the breakfast, we are glad to learn that you loved the location of our hotel being close to the airport and the beach. Your positive review on the rooftop pool with nice temperature and on your room with the comfortable beds & pillows was also much appreciated. Please feel free to email me suggestions on how we can improve the hotel without having to increase the price too much so we can maintain our affordable room rate. Thank you. Sincerely, Paulus Wibowo General manager gm@greenbali.com

This was part of my Budget trip to Bali. I travelled with my 13 year old son and we stayed here for 3 nights. This hotel was so much more than Id exoected for £140! Rooms were big and clean, pillows were amazing (i slept like a baby which was well needed after 19 hrs travelling). I loved the shower too, plenty of room, powerful & hot. Breakfast was included in proce... Fresh fruit, choice of english or american breakfast, and usual tea/coffee. Juice def wasnt fresh (more like squash) but for the proce we werent complaining!! Pool on the roof was lovely and big and very quiet plus there was a gorgeous sea/beach view from restaurant and pool on 4th& 5th floors. Staff were lovely, rooms cleaned daily. Beach itself was a 2 min walk and was beautiful, very quiet but a few restaurants and shops. At night it was livlier, we watched the kite flying at sunset while enjoying a few cocktails in a bar. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in the quieter end of Kuta

A good hotel to use as a transit point. Close to the airport and beach. All staff are also very friendly. Spcial mention to Wisnu and Edy. If you are planning to surf any of the reef breaks nearby you can check them from the rooftop. The rooms are large and value for money.
