I loved my 2 night stay here, wish I had booked longer now, but it was my first time staying in the area. The owners son Amed was very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the driftwood which is very unique and has an outdoor bathroom with hot water which I absolutely loved. we didn't experience any noise that kept...

This is what I think of when I think of Bali. This is a beautifully done small compound overlooking the amazing waves at Bingin. Yoga classes were a highlight. The much hyped sushi dinner on Sunday night was OK, but the great setting and communal sitting style made for a memorable evening. Unfortunately, there was construction happening on a lot...

We entered the lodge and there was nobody to welcome us. Someone called out from a window in what room we were. Obviously we had no idea as we had just arrived. The man who apparantly was the owner came down but was very unfriendly. After we had been in Bali for 3 weeks this welcome really took us by...

We were welcomed by the friendly Amed and also met later by Cristiana. Breakfast each morning was amazing along with a dinner we had there - delicious! Our...

Ants, Mosquitos, screaming children, barking dogs, wifi only in common areas, searing heat, overpriced, poor service & empty promises. No thanks! This was our "splurge" accommodation on our honeymoon and it was so disappointing even though it was breathtakingly beautiful. The bugs, as they are everywhere in Bali are invasive. The mosquito nets and coils did little to keep us...

I stayed in May/June this year with my daughter and her boyfriend who had been in Indonesia for a month. They had previously stayed at Temple Lodge a couple of times...and I understand why they were so keen to go back! The 3 of us were in the Spice Suite, which doesn't have a view of the ocean, but was...

Stayed for the first time last week and immediately decided to book my honeymoon here. For me, The Temple Lodge is perfect. The rooms are rustic, tuscan inspired and unique. The pool is relaxing with the best view I had in Bali, the 'restaurant', is quaint, relaxed and delicious. The management style is personal and relaxed, there is no reception...

Italian owners, so everything is done with imagination and character. Each room is unique. There is a feeling that you're visiting friends. The idea of a common dinners are great. After the first dinner - you know everybody in the hotel and feel like home. Very easy to get to the beach - it is right under the hotel.) But...
