About LUMBINI VILLA & SPAJimbaran Village, once a traditional village, has risen to become one of Bali’s most exclusive areas with several luxury resorts as neighbors within the immediate vacuity.Talking this opportunity into consideration Lumbini Villa & Spa created a concept of modern villa living with a traditional Balinese influence.Lumbini Villa & Spa offers a casual lifestyle alternative that is free from obvious city pressures. With a golden a sand beachfront right on the doorstep, there is a constant reminder of some of the precious qualities that you are often to busy to appreciate. It is just the perfect place to simply lay down on sun-lounger beside your pool, catch a few waves in the surf or try your hand at other water sport activities, dine at the array of seafood cafes or spend the day at the beach club at KedongananLumbini Villa & Spa is conveniently located just 15 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport, 15 minutes from Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park and not too far from an 18-hole international standard Golf Course and the upcoming world-class shopping centre in BTDC area Nusa Dua.Lumbini Villa & Spa’s other main strength is that the entire complex is almost complete and ready for site inspection. This indicates that you are not merely buying a dream, but a villa that is very much a reality. Furthermore, Lumbini Villa is scheduled to be operational in January 01st 2013.

Detailed Reviews
Lumbini Villas & Spa was a single suite in true Balinese style with full swimming pool and very accessible to the Airport with shuttles to Lippo Mall and Discovery Mall shopping centres. Breakfast was included which was more than adequate every morning and delicious. A complimentary Balinese Massage was included in our package and was well received and liked very much. We ate at the restaurant and enjoyed our meal and drinks. Staff were very obliging and helpful is all aspects of the resorts services from Reception, Housekeeping, Spa and restaurant and breakfast services which catered to our needs.
The landscaping, public pools, gymnasium and bicycles were all well kept and this resort is one to return to and enjoy all aspects of Bali from this delightful location in Jimbaran on Uluwatu Street

Staff are very welcoming. They provided free rides into Kuta and other close areas. The food was great, we ate most meals there. They provided room service and daily house keeping, toiletries (including tooth brush, paste and shavers & cream) as well was bottles water in the fridge and bathroom for brushing teeth. We had our own private pool, out door kitchen area and 2 seperate rooms with our own private bathrooms (including a large bath tub fit for 2). Will be booking here for our next trip. Thankyou!

Located very close to the airport, we got into the habit of coming there before or after a flight. Its location also allows you to enjoy Jimbaran, its beach and its succulent fish restaurants. You can also choose to spend time there to visit the south of the island. The establishment is really very pleasant, very spacious, very nicely decorated and very well maintained. The villas are superb: a beautiful swimming pool in the middle of a garden, a bedroom with a comfortable bed, a huge bathroom and a summer kitchen. Everything is very clean and recently repainted. The breakfast is quite satisfactory: a buffet where everyone can find what they are looking for.
Small downside: one of the ladies at reception gave us a really bad welcome…

The location is compromised, on a main road, with no access to amenities. Staff ,while polite, are not able to help with any basic requests (eg, where to get laundry done, changing sheets, providing a bottle opener for the stay). This in an under funded hotel and this is evident in the state of the villas, the breakfast, the check in and amenities. This is not a five star hotel as advertised...should be better billed as 3 star to manage expecations.

It is like the photos given but no soft touches and one does not get a sense of "welcome". No flowers not even petals... and frangipani dropping all around us. Breakfast was appalling, no choices across the board and such poor quality. Nothing in the kitchen, just 2 items of every item, not even water we can ask for extras. Service was curt and abrupt... everyone seemed overworked and understaffed. Its so disappointing after having been in a beautiful property in Ubud... then a gorgeous villa in Seminyak. We regret checking in at Lumbini for 2 nights. . The E-services from "Dina" was the best part of the experience. As an apology for mis-steps by the hotel, we were offered an hour massage at the spa, and it was the best we had in 14 days in Indonesia!

+1
I booked this place for 9 nights.
The check in is at 14 but the room was not ready until 15.00 so we had to wait in the lobby for one hour.
The wi-fi is more than terrible, its non existent, it doesnt work at all. One of the main pools is dirty. The water is green. The room itself looks ok at first but its actually an average room. We had way better in Bali for half the price we paid here. The toilet seat was old and dirty, looks like they painted it over and over instead of changing it. The walls have cracks and the floor tiles were cracked and repaired very poorly. We found cockroaches in the room and even rats!!! We called reception and some employee came with a broom and he was laughing at us and the only solution they gave us was to move to another room but the rats are everywhere, they dont stay in one place. We also saw the rats in the breakfast restaurant area and in out private garden. Our private pool was sometimes green as well, they came to put chemicals almost everyday so we couldnt enjoy the pool for half of the time because you are not supposed to go in the water the day you pour that chemicals in (i have a pool at home so I know what im talking about). They also provide bicycles in the resort but almost none of them had working breaks. It was dangerous. Food is average, spa massage is also average. There are some minimarket at walking distance but its not such a nice area to be in. They clean the room 1-2 times a day, they change the towels everyday and provide the necessary things for the bathroom.

We arrived slightly earlier among other groups yet we were the last to check in. On top of that, when we arrived from the airport, we were kind of warm and thirsty but we weren't served the "welcome drink". An iced cold drink at that point in time would be really useful. When we ask for it, we were given a bottle of drinking water. So much for welcome drink.
The Wifi is almost non-existence. You now when you advertise a service that you cannot fulfill, it does more damage to your brand. Safe battery was flat, even after changing it I had problems and got my stuff stucked in the safe, gave up on the safe. Battery on all the remotes, just got to work! You cannot expect the guest to check on them one by one and if it doesn't call the front desk. Some of these are basic.
The bathroom is huge alas... the bathtub weren't properly cleaned. You know when you stepped in and feel this layer of oil, yucks!
Breakfast? Bad, probably the worst I would say. Served from 0700hrs to 1100hrs. Arrived at 0830hrs and there is barely anything left at the cooked food station. The bread and muffins had this "frozen food" smell to it. I'm not sure if they were leftover from previous day.
The walk from the lobby is nice under normal weather. However, one rainy evening, it was chaotic at the lobby. Everyone came back from their trip and was waiting for the buggy to bring us to our villa, the staff just couldn't cope.
There are signs of aging of the property such as fallen hooks not replaced, squeaky bed, rusty knife, chipped cups and plates, flickering lights, etc.
The only saving grace are the staff who are friendly. Unfortunately this is still a place I would not recommend for the money we spent.

The most beautiful Villas - spacious and clean (including sparkling personal pool), a massive bath to relax and refresh and options to sit by the pool, in the kitchen area or on the comfortable lounge. Daily breakfast was perfect, served in the central outdoor area and the resort restaurant provides wonderful food and drinks (they make fantastic cocktails and mocktails) as well as room service. The shuttle service helps to explore Bali with knowledgable drivers and all staff are friendly, helpful and kind who go out of their way to make your stay exceptional - thank you! We will return!

Excellent villa with private pool and super large pool for a private villa. Kitchen area with fridge and microwave, plus small gas stove made it possible to cook - although ordering through grab or going out to dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants was much easier. Room was impeccably kept, and the pool was super clean. Bathroom was also very roomy, with a great shower and a large bath. One star is removed for the F&B offering…. It could be better, but didn’t impact is much, as there are plenty of places nearby. Breakfast could be better ( we had breakfast outside hotel a couple of times ) and water provided in plastic bottles. Would have expected glass given the plastic issues around island.

Tired, mouldy, rusting. It all looks very nice until you open the fridge and it's mouldy. Or you come back from à morning out and whilst the bed has been pulled up, last night's teacup is still next to your bed. The dirty dishes from last night are still dirty. They 'offer' 4 small bottles of water but you cannot drink tap water here and every other hôtel offers free water.
Very far from luxury.

Dear Guest , Our normal check in time at 2pm and if your flight arrive at 12.30 it means you will reach our villa at about 2pm so once the villa ready you will get your room straightaway with no extra charge , alternatively you may wait at our cempaka lounge until room is ready.
thank you and look forward to your stay

Hey Paragon
Yes I would defenitely suggest transfer, because there is no public transport system in bali! Taxis are just in the south. I suggest ordering a blue bird taxi or a personal driver in advance. You can do this easy on the internet. Also for further traveling/day trips there is always a driver needed (you can order them for half of the day or the full day), or you rent a motorbike, but the traffic is very dangerous!
Hope to help you with this! Have a perfect holiday, Julia
Dear Ambar ,
Thanks for your email and noted that you are pure vegetarian and happy to let you know that we could provide vegan meal at the villa , we have quite lots of Indian guest with same request and so far they are happy. There is one indian rest located in seminyak area about 5km from our villa. hope the information is covering your question tks, made suata
Dear Diana ,
All of our villas are with own private pool so you can enjoy all of the day at your own villas.
In regard with the beach chairs , it is on our beach facility about 500m away from the villa, free shuttle service are available at anytime of the day . Hope it clarifies your point and looking forward to your stay on June
kind regards,
made suata
