After spending three nights at the Four Seasons Sayan, our expectations for the Four Seasons Jimbaran were pretty high.
We had booked a Family Premia Villa with a sea view for our family of four. Villa No. 230 was perfect for us and the 6 nights we were there. The welcome here was also very warm. We were also addressed by name very often here (we couldn't explain it). Dika in particular caught our attention with her very friendly manner, but everyone else was also very friendly in a genuine way.
In the 6 nights we did in-room dining twice in the evening, we ate twice by the pool/beach at the Sundara Restaurant and we ate twice in the evening in the Sundara Restaurant itself. Overall, we found that we liked the cuisine at the Sundara Restaurant better, the fries were different at the in-room dining, the pizza margarita tasted different...
On December 31, 2023, we could have eaten in the restaurant for our family for a total of € 1,200 without drinks. Personally, however, we didn't like the menu at all and we didn't think the price was reasonable either (our 13-year-old daughter would have had to pay full price and our 11-year-old only a little less). We therefore decided to do in-room dining that day and later we were able to enjoy the fireworks with a beautiful view from our terrace.
Here (just like in Sayan) I found the room for the children not quite up to the classification - pull-out bed, where a bed frame actually rests on the floor and the room is then filled with these two beds.
Although we had our own pool at the villa, we went to the sea every day (at the Sundara restaurant), where there was also one of several pools.
The three men who served us at the loungers during these 7 days or who were responsible for the pool area during these days (laying out towels on the loungers, taking drink and food orders, cleaning sunglasses...) were always very friendly. Even our little extra requests (like ice cream without toppings, no cheesecake and no salad on the kids' menu) were always fulfilled and the golf cart that took us back to our villa in the evening was always called immediately after we signed the bill without us having to say so.
Just like in Sayan, I think it's okay to tip if you're happy with the service... For me, it's simply an appreciation for the work, the service, the way you're treated and the employees are always happy about even the smallest amount of money.
The hotel manager can also be congratulated on his staff (some of whom have apparently been working for Four Seasons Jimbaran for a very long time).

We stayed four days at the Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay. We were pleased with the service and property. The villas have excellent views of the bay and are very private. The housekeeping staff was excellent - it rained suddenly one afternoon and we were concerned because we had left some clothes and hats outdoors to dry, when we returned to the room it turned out that the staff brought in our items proactively to keep them dry. Restaurants are generally very good. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of options and service friendly. The beach was uncrowded and we never had any problems getting a lounger by either pool or the beach. There are a number of local restaurants a short walk down the beach from the resort. We booked a couples massage which was quite good. The spa on the men’s side was excellent with a sauna, clean showers, and hot, warm and cold plunge pools. I understand that the women’s spa was not similar, only showers and a locker room.
The best way to communicate with staff is through their Whatsapp account, so if you don’t have that set up on your phone you should and the staff is usually very good about responding right away to questions.
As with other Four Seasons resorts of this type we have been to, it is spread out and so a fair bit of walking to get around if you do not use the buggies. The only area for improvement I would note here is that there was often a lengthy wait for the buggies and sometimes you had to call multiple times.

Our stay was wonderful. The service is excellent, fast and caring. Everyone is ready to make sure every request is seamlessly handled, from the pool staff, to rooms service, housekeeping and concierge.

The Four Seasons Jimbaran we can really only recommend. After our stays at Bulgari, St.Regis, the Four Seasons Ubud and other hotels in Bali, we were once again very enthusiastic. The location of the resort with views over the bay, direct beach access as well as very nice pools and an overall very well maintained outdoor and indoor area convinces. We stayed at the Four Seasons Jimbaran Bay for three nights - the first of three hotels during 9-day Bali trip. Given its proximity to the airport, it was the perfect place to recharge and adjust after our long journey from the States, before undertaking more active pursuits in Ubud. The cliffside property is tucked away in a busy area of Jimbaran Bay, but feels completely secluded and private. While it was Bali’s high season, the property never felt crowded or loud. The Asian influenced architecture and landscaping transport you through time to what feels like an ancient, sacred place, without the bugs. We expected to be ravaged by mosquitos while in Bali, but were relieved that the nasty little buggers generally stayed away from the property (thanks to the vigilance of the groundskeepers, who worked tirelessly during the day with their smokers, and the mosquito coils provided with our outdoor space for additional protection). Our Jimbaran Bay villa was spacious, luxurious and well-appointed with modern amenities (e.g., smart toilet), but retained an inviting Balinese charm. We expected a very high level of service and we were not disappointed. In all respects, the staff went out of their way to accommodate. No detail was overlooked, from the pillows in the soaking tub, high quality sheets, generously stocked refreshment area with complimentary beverages and snacks. This was a 5-star experience all the way. what you paIf I had to pick one tiny area of improvement (and I’m splitting hairs, here), I would say that the indoor shower area could use a refresh. There was nothing wrong with it, but felt old and underwhelming compared to the rest of the suite. All in all, this place is one of the nicest properties we have experienced.

When you stay at a Four Seasons hotel, you will almost always receive a beautiful aesthetic, warm reception, and exemplary service.
After arriving at DPS from Sumba on a delayed flight, I was equally calm and excited once I arrived at the lobby and reception area. I instantly knew I was at a Four Seasons property. You just know.
My stay was for only two nights before I departed Bali, and after staying in Seminyak before Sumba, I knew I wanted to be closer to the airport. The Four Seasons' strategic location, with less traffic and a shorter distance, allowed me to relax and enjoy my stay a little longer. I also received a very late check-out, and I thank the Four Seasons team for their generosity.
I reserved a Garden Villa and was upgraded to a Jimbaran Bay Villa, which afforded me a partial bay and airport view. I loved that the Balinese cultural charm pervaded the villas and property. It wasn't a modern take on Balinese culture; it was authentic.
The outdoor seating areas of the villa, including the comfortable outdoor living room under a roof with a fan, and the sunbeds, umbrella, and plunge pool, were my personal favorites.
Also, the mosquito netting around the bed was the best I've seen yet! It's both romantic and functional.
In the morning, the breakfast area can be quite busy, but the servers do an outstanding job of ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. You'll peruse the different stations, place an order, and a server will deliver it to your table. Just find what you want, or what your taste buds are craving, and go sit down. Chill out, enjoy the view, and the food will soon appear.
If you're a pool lover, there are a few options, so be sure to explore the grounds.
The views are incredible from nearly any location on the property, so you'll be content if that's what you're after.
If you're hungry during the day and need a healthy meal, Sundara delivered one of the best vegetarian burgers I've ever had! The Beetroot Burger was delicious. Sundara is a beach-side restaurant, with seating outside or inside, with A/C! Another place that also appropriately captures the views.
I spoke with a few other people who also loved their stay there, and it really is an excellent choice if you're seeking luxury, a beach, and proximity to the airport.

Superb welcome and magnificent reception. We've been upgraded, thanks to the Pension. We had very good explanations with a plan to be able to locate ourselves. The room is very large as well as the bathroom. Everything is clean and nothing is missing (perhaps a weight;) The hairdryer is a real and not a small hairdryer for Barbie as in most hotels. The bedding is good. The pool is clean. Frankly everything is perfect. We had enough towels each time. Shower also outside the room. The breakfast is excellent. There's a huge choice. The evening meal is exceptional. Congratulations to the cooks. We were never disappointed during the 5 nights spent at their house. We tested two of the three restaurants and it was great. We made a Reservation for two Villas in the easiest category (for us and our couple and two daughters, two for each) and they offered us a kind of 'Connecting Villa' (?) with a courtyard connecting to each other. What's more, there is one king bed for couples and two smaller beds in the daughters' rooms, which covers the needs of the family. The Floating Breakfast, where breakfast was floated in the pool, was enjoyed by the couple in the pool of their Villa. Buggy travel is essential due to the large size of the property, but the time between calling the front desk and the arrival of the buggy is short. That's how many staff we have in place. I asked to be picked up and dropped off at the airport on a round trip, but only my three family members, except me, left first due to scheduling issues, so I saw them off at the airport and then went back to the Resort for one last night. On that occasion, a pick-up car waited for me at the airport (for free) for about an hour, but I took my Grab back to the Resort without realizing it and I was sorry. It means that they provided such friendly service that there was a gap between them.

Been to a number of FS and this has moved to the top. Staff extremely friendly from walk up to the check out. Buffett breakfast had a great selection of different ethnic foods. Rooms were gorgeous with separate bath. Nice sitting area by plunge pool that We didn’t want to go to main pool. Lost a bracelet and felt team did everything they could to find it. And a bellhop driver found it on the floor. Resort location very close to airport. Don’t waste time eating at other restaurants on the beach - food is not fresh. You won’t be disappointed. Definitely place to splurge for a nicer room.

Honestly we’re just back in KL and dazed as Aleesya and I got really down with the flu and we both could barely get out of bed in Bali, so we were ensconced in our beds. Yohan’s been well there thank God till we got back home. The amazing thing about FS is their above and beyond service. The director of F&B Bapak Pande and team delivered delicious vegetable 🥗 soup and ginger and turmeric 🍵 for Aleesya and I with a get well card. Forget about the usual FS remembering our names and Aleesya’s names and getting to know us at breakfast, meeting the GM Randy from Hawaii and the tours and activities on site, it’s these little things that one appreciates; the aromatherapy joss sticks and lit candles by the pool and bathtub with toiletries re-arranged on special towel by the sink every night. I love the fact that they gave us 3 prayer mats when we wanted to pray; ready, not just 3 dressing robes and slippers and towels. Prayer mats. Not bad FS. The last litmus test were the shoe shine service. Our shoes were brown and dirty, they made it all white at the soles again. Even Intercontinental Osaka didn’t do that even when we asked for the white soles to be cleaned; they refused us. One they even sent for dry cleaning. OMG. So we felt this really decompressed us in a very relaxing Balinese way full of kindness and proactive caring way. Kudos FS team of Bali. InsyaAllah we will return again.
