Raffles Bali emerges as a sanctuary of luxury and tranquility, with guests lauding its lavishly furnished villas and impeccable privacy. The hotel's serene setting and meticulous grounds receive high marks for atmosphere, while the rooms earn acclaim for their spaciousness and comfort. Service at Raffles Bali is celebrated for its attentiveness, and cleanliness stands out as a point of pride.
While the upscale dining is noted for its quality, some guests mention the cost and limited choices on the menu. Despite minor inconveniences like the spa's booking issues and sporadic internet service, the overall experience is considered top-notch.

Detailed Reviews
Me and my wife have recently spent a 4-day stay in Raffles Bali. Everything about our stay was a testament to the hotel’s genuine care and commitment to create a unique and memorable experience for their guests.
Each morning, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast at Rumari Restaurant, which is perched on the resort’s highest point for a stunning ocean view. That is, before a relaxing Yoga Class on the Meditation Terrace overlooking a beautiful panorama.
In terms of its other dining venues, Raffles Bali has tons to offer. We loved Loloan Beach Bar & Grill not only for its excellent views and foods, but also the sense of privacy. This restaurant is available only for hotel guests to enjoy the masterful delicacies of Chef Agung. The Secret Cave Intimate Dinner was another wonderful surprise from Raffles Bali (we were the first couple graced with this romantic candlelight dinner), with the Black Winter Truffle being the night’s highlight. The live jazz music performance on sunset cocktail at The Writers Bar made the experience even more personalized, as they beautifully sang our favourite song.
Meanwhile, Rumari Unearthing was a unique dinner experience where we could try various Balinese dishes. It was an unending shower of gastronomic masterpieces! Moreover, we also found the afternoon tea at The Writers Bar extremely unique as they served 18 different tea options from Dammann Frères.
Not to mention the utterly rejuvenating Raffles Signature Massage by Mbak Wirati, Mbak Lestari and Mbak Ayu from Raffles Spa. Very relaxing!
We’d like to give a shoutout to Chef Gaetan, Chef Eka, Chef Agung, Mas Kevin, Mas Gusti, Mas Erlangga
Mas Putu, Mas Saputra, Mbak Nick, Mbak Rina, Mbak Sisca, Mas Yogi, Mbak Wirati, Mbak Ayu, Mbak Lestariall and all of whom have taken care of us throughout our stay and ensured our comfort.
But our greatest thanks are reserved for Mas Kevin, our dedicated Wellbeing Butler who has made this an exceptionally memorable stay for us. There are no words that can express how extraordinary he had been, with all the surprises and care that he showed us. Indeed, Mas Kevin has set the bar of hospitality services very high for us.
We’d also like to express our endless gratitude to Ibu Katya, Dayu and Irma who have made our stay even more special.
Overall, we feel that Raffles Bali has truly outdone themselves with their hospitality and immaculate services. I am a huge believer in the Raffles brand from now on. Hope we will back here again!

Hill top Villa 07
Five day stay half board
I love Raffles as a chain, and Raffles Bali mostly met my expectations.
Like all Raffles, housekeeping was excellent and invisible, we never saw them, and a room was made up at least twice a day, if not 3 times.
The Vila was excellent, great views well equipped, and in fact hardly any need to go out.
Breakfast was really very very good, as indeed was the the service.
Butler service again excellent, and the WhatsApp contact a week before was something others should aspire to.
Whilst I would recommend this hotel, I do advise that there is a new resort being built next door which did impact upon our stay, we were disturbed from early morning to early evening, so do contact the hotel first to ensure works have finished. They are incredibly good at replying to their emails.
Notes for improvement:
At the suggestion of my travel agent, we opted for half board, however as I a have a seafood allergy this left very little choice for evening meal, with 3/5 nights I had a margarita pizza which fell (well) below expectation. On the last night half of the menu was sold out, so I had little choice. I was offered a striploin rather than tenderloin, unsure if I wanted this , the waiter, trying to be helpful brought out frozen lump of meat to show me.
The main restaurant half board menu I could not eat anything from, although the butler arranged for chef to offer a different menu, all that was different was one main course of Chicken and mash potatoes.
The half board option needs review, its hard to understand why you can order salads and burgers on the in villa dining menu, and not the same salads an burgers at the same price in the restaurant. I would have been much more happier if I could have ordered off of the in villa dining menu at the restaurant.
If you are considering half board, I would suggest you email the hotel for a copy of the menu ( which did not change) before booking this option.
All in all would return once building work finished and not on a half board basis.

We had a four day break at the Raffles Bali to celebrate my birthday. The resort is not a big affair like others near by and that is the exact reason that you should stay: intimate service which is personalized to each guest. Your butler will look after you from meeting you at the airport to being on call throughout your stay. Rezah did a superb job for us organizing our activities both in the resort as well as outside. Thank you Rezah!
The villa is top quality with a pool looking out to sea. We had a particularly private one looking over bush land and the sea. Your mini bar of non alcoholic drinks and snacks is complimentary. Spacious bathroom.
We had a couples massage in an outdoor space called the Sanctuary. It was sublime being massaged listening to the birds twittering and bushland sounds.
The food at the Raffles is also superb. We had a fabulous dinner at the main restaurant which was a degustation type affair. Very nice with great explanation of the dishes. High end food with excellent taste and presentation. The restaurant by the beach is also excellent. We had lunch twice there and were very impressed. We also had a romantic dinner in a cabana over the rocks and sea. The chefs and staff did an amazing job with an absolute delicious line up of dishes. Breakfast is a La carte and you can order as many dishes as you like as they are relatively small on purpose so you will need more than one dish. This could be looked at to increase the number of options as after a few days you may get through many of the options. As a nod to the home hotel of Raffles in Singapore perhaps they could have some dim sum?
Finally, the staff are extremely eager to please. They are always checking to make sure you are ok and enjoying your stay. The Raffles is an amazing place to stay. If you want to be looked after with premium and personalized service in a 5 star resort then stay at the Raffles Bali.

Just left this hotel after a 3 night stay. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel on gorgeous and well maintained grounds. However, what would have been lovely experience was marred by ground works by Raffles on their own property to build more villas, and also very noisy construction on land immediately adjoining Raffles to the North. Whilst Raffles has clearly no control over land they don't possess, they were very much in control of their own, and did not bother to tell us before our visit. Both went on for most of the day, the latter starting at 8.30am on Friday. It was so bad that the floor of our villa was vibrating. To their credit, the hotel immediately offered a free massage treatment and to move us to a 'Hilltop villa' from a 'Panoramic Ocean view' villa, which greatly mitigated the effect. However it did bring us close to their own construction site. Both these things, together with the fact that the land faces the airport meant that there was constant building and aircraft noise. During a brief hiatus, we marvelled at how tranquil the stay could have been. We were told that Raffles expect to carry on building until 15 Dec.
As to the rest of the hotel, everything is walkable, although a buggy is always on hand. Loloan by the beach is a wonderful place to relax, which I found served average food all day, with a remarkable lack of local cuisine offerings. Rumari is the high end restaurant where we enjoyed our meal in a pleasant atmosphere, although the hotel was very quiet when we were there. Breakfast was also in Rumari and was very good, with a small buffet with the emphasis on a la carte. There was plentiful fresh fruit. The staff across the hotel were very friendly and service was lovely, although there can be a language barrier with some staff. You should ensure that any transport requirements are clearly understood, on both sides, when booking. The chef Gaetan was ever present, and very informative and engaging.
The beach is small and not private, despite what they tell you upon arrival. The unfortunate problem with plastic in the sea was clearly visible.
The villas are well appointed, spacious and very clean. Randomly, there was no body lotion to be had, just sun lotion. The fitness room is small and doesn't have any free weights, if that's important. Internet was spotty sometimes, but I think that is to be expected due to the location. The spa treatment we had was excellent.

I wanted to take a moment to share my incredible experience at Raffles Bali, a stay that left me truly in awe, in every possible way.
From the very start, I felt like a cherished guest, starting with the warm welcome at Bali airport by the attentive hotel staff. The assistance at the airport, complete with visa formalities and baggage handling in an eco-friendly BMW, was not just elegant but also demonstrated the hotel's genuine commitment to preserving our environment.
At every step during my stay, I was treated as if I were the most important person in the world. The hotel's staff seemed to anticipate my every need and desire, often fulfilling them before I had a chance to express them. This level of service was remarkably responsive and genuinely heartfelt.
The villas themselves, with their breathtaking views, were a true masterpiece of design and comfort. Every single detail was thoughtfully curated, creating an ambiance of sheer luxury. The support from the butler was like having a trusted friend by my side, always ready to assist with a friendly smile. It meant that I didn't need to worry about a thing; all I had to do was ask, and it was taken care of.
The dining experiences at the hotel's restaurants were nothing short of extraordinary, with dishes that danced on my taste buds. The range of beverages, including a delightful array of non-alcoholic options, exceeded all expectations, catering to even the most discerning palates.
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Raffles Bali for crafting such unforgettable memories and for making my stay even more extraordinary than I had ever envisioned. This place is a true haven, where luxury and impeccable service harmonize perfectly with the stunning surroundings. I dream of returning one day to relive this exceptional experience.
With deepest gratitude,
R

We visited Raffles Bali with our 6-months old baby. We couldn’t imagine a better villa & service quality in Bali. Our room (villa) was extremely clean, filled with high-quality equipment, the garden & ocean view was more than amazing. We had full support from the moment we arrived till we left the facility. Our butler Seva provided us the best vacation support we could ever get, by fast responding every demand we had (mostly due to the baby). Every breakfast plate was like a professionally-prepared chef plate. The resort area was so big and full of positive vibes that you feel priviliged in every part of it. It has a private beach which is not very common in Bali. I recommend Raffles Bali to everyone who’s looking for a luxury stay in the middle of Bali!

Dear thesweetglobe, We are grateful to have received your review in Tripadvisor with excellent ratings, and we appreciate your stay with us on your recent trip to the island of the Gods. On behalf of the team we are glad to know that you and your family have had a memorable stay experience with the attentive service quality provided by our team. We are glad to know that were enjoying our villa quality and cleanliness with the garden and beautiful view of the ocean. We have conveyed your commendation towards Seva, your Raffles Wellbeing Butler who has been deligent in assisting you during your stay, great to also know that you enjoyed our breakfast selections at Rumari restaurant whic has been prepared professionally by our culinary team. Indeed our secluded beach gives you the privilige of having your own space which is very rare in Bali. Thank you for your recommendation to our luxury resort and looking forward to the opportunity of welcoming you back again in the near future. Kind regards, Erlangga Farizky Hotel Manager

Positives:
Room Upgrade: We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the next room category, a gesture that started our stay on a high note.
Scenic Beauty: The privacy and views offered by the resort were simply amazing, contributing significantly to our overall enjoyment.
Areas for Improvement:
Extra Charges: Despite booking for five people, we were charged a hefty amount for an extra bed for the fifth person. This was unexpected and not well-received.
Housekeeping Oversight: Post in-room dining, we observed a lack of thorough cleaning. Food particles and crumbs were left on the table, compromising basic hygiene standards.
Spa Appointment Scheduling: The spa often seemed empty, yet we were given staggered appointment times. This resulted in our entire day being tied up at the resort, just for spa and massage sessions, which was inconvenient.
Unattended Evening Snacks: The Down Service's evening snacks, which we didn't finish, were left unattended on the table for the entire next day, attracting flies. This was a clear miss in housekeeping.
Limited Cuisine Options: The variety in cuisine was disappointingly limited, affecting our dining experience.
Conclusion:
Overall, our stay at Raffles Bali was satisfactory, but there were noticeable gaps in service and attention to detail. While we appreciated the room upgrade and the stunning views, the additional charges, lack of thorough cleaning, inconvenient spa scheduling, overlooked housekeeping details, and limited food choices somewhat marred our experience. These aspects certainly need improvement to align with the high standards expected from a luxury resort like Raffles Bali.

Perched atop a hill in the exclusive neighbourhood of Jimbaran Bali, Raffles Bali is a private oasis for those seeking to unwind and rejuvenate.
The Resort only has 32 villas, and each comes with a private infinity pool and an unobstructed view of the Indian Ocean. There was plenty of space within the villa and never once was there any disturbance (i.e., noise from neighbours or the nearby airport).
Each room is also assigned a personal wellbeing butler, and ours, Mr Aditya, was amazing!g! We felt entirely at ease knowing that we're so well-taken care of!
The food at Rumari was amazing. We appreciate the small portion sizes at breakfast, which allowed us to try a variety of dishes; each one exquisitely done! The tasting menu we had during dinner at Rumari, was another highlight of our stay, particularly after being told that the ingredients were mainly sourced from within Indonesia, as well as Raffles Bali's commitment to supporting local farmers and enterprises.
All in all, amongst all of our visits and hotel stays in Bali, Raffles easily tops them. One truly has to be here to experience it all for yourself!

Our experience here was excellent.
We stayed on the hilltop villa. Our personal buttler (Rai) was very polite, friendly, and helpful. We got several surprises from Rai and my wife and I were really pleased for it.
The resort was beautiful, very clean, with elegant and simple luxurious design we truly love.
The reason we picked the resort was the location and the quietness, especially during high season in Bali which was really crowded everywhere.
We did feel a bit strange that the resort has policy that no outside food allowed, so we’re not allowed to ask our buttler for help in buying our favorite balinese dishes outside the resort. Frankly, this was the first time we found this policy in all the places we’ve stayed in.
In-dining, rumari and Loloan were terrific. The food was amazing. Hospitality was also great, although some of the waiter we thought can be more nice and providing.
Room was nice, big and super clean. I would prefer a stronger water pressure in the shower, but it was still enough.
Thanks for a wonderful experience,
Raffles team.

+1
To begin with It was my first time at a Raffles Property and it was also the first time the entire family of close to 20 people were travelling post pandemic.
The whole experience, from making the reservation to welcoming us and also taking care of us for those 5 days were remarkable.
Although the property is not kid friendly, they went the extra mile to accommodate those requests for My daughter. They would make her a chocolate milkshake or even when I requested them to make a less spicy curry with some Rice Congee or any soup at any time of the day, they would make it for me.
Dwi and Intan are such lovely people and they made sure everything was perfect for us.
The food was amazing, there was never a day that we wanted to step out to eat.
The cocktails at the bar too were amazing.
I really look forward to going back here again.
