Detailed Reviews
We could find nothing lacking at Royal Tulip. This company knows how to run a resort so that its guests are pampered to the max and every need is anticipated and fulfilled. The week we spent there was during extreme low tourist volume because of the Corona Virus Threat, but I’m quite sure even at its busiest the level of service doesn’t falter. We were astonished that the the buffet breakfast wasn’t compromised due to fewer guests as the selections were super abundant and elegantly prepared. The pool is a joy to relax at with comfy loungers, some with umbrellas, and it gives the feel of a tropical lagoon with fountains that can lull to sleep. It’s location away from the hustle of Jimbaran Beach area adds to the resort’s peaceful ambiance. The unwalkability factor is compensated by a shuttle offering a range of locations and times to augment your day. We did a couple of trips to The Bali Collection, a smartly developed mall that boarders Nusa Dua Beach with lots of restaurants. There is a huge Coco Market there that is great for souvenirs. If you like Italian, Uno Restaurant is a must try. Their home made pastas are extraordinary and very reasonably priced. Good salads too. If you need a taxi back to the resort from Bali Collection it is cheaper to not use the service right out side the exit but instead use the taxis right across the street that are waiting in the parking lot there.
If you take the shuttle to Jimbaran Beach for dinner. We really enjoyed our meal at Made Bagus, which has the best reviews on this site. We did the fish and prawn set for two and it was wonderful and so inexpensive.
Also took the shuttle to a smaller mall area, Samasta, and enjoyed the large upscale grocery store there and eating at “Chir Chir Korean Chicken.” We got the spicy variety, which was wonderful, as was the Mango salad with yogurt dressing.
A special shout out to each and every one of the staff that made us feel like royalty and especially to Winda and Elsa, who made us feel like family!

We stayed at this hotel in January, and upon our arrival we were greeted with smiles and made to feel welcome. The check-in process was painless and our family suite was spotless! All the staff throughout the hotel were attentive, polite and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet catered for all tastes - we were truly spoilt for choice! Regarding evening meals, the chefs were happy to prepare special requests and did so with a smile. As we had a late flight we were given a later check out time of 2pm instead of 12pm with no extra charge. We all enjoyed the outdoor pool, and games available in the bar area and participated in the various activities the hotel provides such as Koi feeding, latte art (Thank you Adi) and the Balinese ritual (Thank you Kedak). It was wonderful to see all the staff dressed in traditional costumes on Balinese themed nights and to see the cultural dances and live music. The hotel provides a free shuttle to various places of interest. We went to GWK - a must for everyone! Thank you to everyone at Royal Tulip for making our first visit to Bali a memorable one 😃

We had a nice and relaxing stay in this place. Stay for 3 night overall is fine. The room is very spacious and completed with the bath tub. The view from the room also nice. But only the air conditioning sometimes dropping water and made the floor slippery. We put the towel right under it and the staff cleaned the room everyday without have any idea to fix it. The pool area is also nice but around the pool bar sometimes we found it stinky whether it is chemical thing or whatever. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is perfect and many variations and we enjoyed it so much. They have some games to play so no worries about getting bored. Overall we had a nice stay here.

We returned to Royal Tulip after an excellent stay last year and we must say this time is no exception! They still have the beautiful pool with shallow area for the kids. And they even added a small slide now for a more adventurous kids and adults alike. They maintained the hotel ground so clean and the kids loved seeing the colourful koi fish everyday.
What really stood out for us was the staff! Everyone greeted you with smile, and most of the restaurant and front desk staff know our names which is a nice touch. They were always trying to accomodate to our requests and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The location was good for us as we wanted a bit more peace and quiet. Taxis are easy and you can get just about any food delivered there. The resort is also very secure with security guarding the entrance 24/7.
However, the Kids club is still a bit rundown and the breakfast food selections could be improved even though we have seen some improvements from last time. But would we recommend this resort? Yes! We've stayed in many places but this one feels like good blend of home and holiday to us. Would we come back? Absolutely!!

Our family of five, including three children, had a wonderful time at the Royal Tulip. We stayed in a family suite for nine nights in room 212. There was a minor hiccup with the toilet upon our arrival, and we expected personnel to at least recognise it and make the situation better, but the front desk staff was reluctant to switch rooms. We remained in the same suite till the problem was resolved the following day. After an unpleasant beginning, the remainder of the stay was fantastic. The hotel staff was accommodating and approachable. The breakfast was satisfactory but might have benefited from more variety to accommodate different nationalities. The suite was large and suitable for a family of five. The hotel's location is quite distant from the city's central business district, thus daily cab rides can be costly. The shuttle operates three times daily, but exclusively for drop-offs. We requested a room with a view of the pool and it was supplied, with the exception of an initial cleaning issue. We would recommend and return to this hotel. There are few things that may be improved, and one suggestion to the entire hotel staff is to not infer a person's nationality based on the colour of their skin. Treat everyone equally, whether they are white or non-white, because white privilege can sometimes exclude people from other countries. The white privilege is very common in countries like Bali and I experienced it in Royal Tulip. Hopefully the management can wok on this with the staff.
I would recommend this hotel and stay there again if travelling to Bali in the future.

I visited last December and I visit again in January. Getting the special deal 100K day pass with snacks per person is really affordable as my family would like to have small Gathering. We can enjoy pool and kids also can enjoy themselves with still follow the protocol and procedures for Covid 19. It is not busy obviously but still fun and good for us this way. Royal Tulip is recommended really👍👍👍😍 I will be back

+1
Pros:
Beautiful hotel, we love their pool, Waiter/waitress are very attentive, helpful and accommodating. Food is okay but everyday is the same except of the sausages which cycles from pork-beef- chicken. Rooms are spacious. There's 2 bikes you can use inside the resort. The resort is kids friendly and has many activities to keep them busy.
Cons
We checked in around 12mn. The front officer is useless. We are 10 people checking in, we checked prior to our check in if the hotel is full and it's not. We asked that we put in a closer rooms but he said no because the rooms are assigned already and cannot change. We had a PWD with us, we requested for a wheelchair to be left in the room. The front officer said NO to our request because they only have 1 wheelchair. A 5 star hotel with only 1 wheelchair! Can you imagine that. 1 keycard per room only when we asked for another keycard we found out that he didnt asked us for incidental deposit. You need to pay for a bucket of ice request though it's cheap this is the first 4 or 5 star hotel i've encountered doing this also when we called the reception the front officer told me that we call the housekeeping or restaurant if we have request but there's no hotline guides in the room and their phone is the regular phone. There's a hand towel ring in the toilet but there's no hand towel in the room. Everyday we need to request for it. Most important is when you close the door it doesnt lock automatically you need to push it so it will close. I've seen this in many room along the hallway. Toilet is smelly i dont think they use soap everytime they clean it. In where our friends stayed the aircon is leaking or stopping in the middle of the night. Water puddle is everywhere in the hallway regardless the floor where you are staying. Chefs in egg station doesnt know how to cook sunny side up, the sides and bottom part of the egg is burnt. Poach egg is a big struggle for them. We asked for soft poach but kept giving us well done poach. They need more training.
P.s after we complained to the front officer on what we experienced in our check in most of the request was granted. She even told us that they can move our rooms to a closer one but we didnt want anymore as we settled down our stuffs already and didnt want to pack and unpack again.

We stayed for our last night in Bali on booking and reading previous reviews and online Hotel description it seemed a beautiful place to enjoy the weather and relax before flying home. Upon arrival staff were welcoming friendly and couldn’t do more. The rooms are spacious great space, and layout including a perfect sized bathroom we enjoyed this space. The food however and drinks let it down massively. Crumbs on table, slow service, poor quality of breakfast it just what you’d expect based on the five star - this really needs to be looked at and put a proper F&B Manager in place to evaluate this are properly and the processes and standards it’s not good at all. The pool is small but ok. What lets this area down is the maintenance clearly lacking in being looked after loose tiles at the bottom of the pool, very un safe around the edge the tiles rock and are loose. Around the sun beds the floor tiles are worn and not flat again trip hazard - I’m grateful we didn’t have the kids with us otherwise we’d have had to move on to a different location. Sun bed cushions are dirty and not cleaned. There is also a sense of sewage smell by the pool.
The staff are friendly and welcoming and the reception area is grand this didn’t go un noticed but the place really needs a good look and lick of paint.

For this short visit, I feel like wanted to return right away. The Service, the food, the staff are all excellent.
I wish in the future we have more time to spend. We will come back definitely
For the day pass is really affordable, and really kids friendly, for adult may join floating breakfast as the option on their ala carte.
If you wanted to spend time relax with your family and loves one, you should visit Royal Tulip Springhill.
