We stayed for one week in Sadguna homestay and would have happily stayed longer. From the mainstreet it is a two minute walk to the place, that is a little hidden and has to be reached over a small sidewalk next to a creek (follow the small signs). It is beautifully situated directly next to some rice fields and you...

I stayed here on three occasions whilst travelling in Indonesia- we couldn't stay away. The rooms are fairly basic but compared to most of the other places I'd stayed felt like luxury, comfortable double bed and a great shower that was reliably warm. The location is up a very steep hill which is a bit of a trek but the...

I booked a room for two nights in Sadguna Homestay and paid by credit card. I arrived in front of the homestay at 11.50 AM and the homestay was locked. We tried calling "hello" and "excuse me" and no one responded. We called the place and nobody picked up the phone. So .. heavyheartedly we had to choose a different...

We stayed here for 3 nights and then went to kuta and then came back to stay again. Such a lovely place it's quiet, peaceful and comfortable. Wian who runs the place is lovely and nothing is to much trouble. The bed was nice and the breakfast also. I would highly recomend people to stay here.

We originally wanted to stay in Nirwa Homestay but when we arrived there were no rooms left anymore. The friendly owner of the home stay told us we could stay with one of her neighbors. So that's what we did! The owner of Sad Guna is a very friendly young man. He likes to have a chat and tells you...

The best place that I have stayed in Ubud. The place is very near with paddy field along Jalan Abangan where you can enjoy the the way Balinese run their daily life. The air is refreshing and it can be little bit cool during early morning time. Pak Wayan himself is very friendly and we enjoyed stay with him. He...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Enjoy a balance between Ubud's rice field views on one side of our place and being next to the heart of Ubud's key attractions on the other. Offering a comfortable and homely environment with an "Eat, Pray, Love" setting across your balcony views you will enjoy the quiet serenity out home has to offer. Offering a warmly, illuminated room overlooking Bali's famous and picturesque rice fields you will be comforted by the peaceful environment following a day full of sightseeing and activities. The rooms are connected to your own private ensuite and a few offer a comfortable outdoor setting overlooking the rice fields. We are right in the heart of Ubud close to Ubud's Palace, the main shops and restaurants, as well as the local Yoga centres. You will have an easy walk to the local rice fields where you can enjoy the beauty of Bali's famous natural environment. Once on the main street of Bali you will either walk or drive up the small gravel street up towards Nando Warung. To the left of the Warung you will see an alley with a canal running alongside it. Follow this along and you will see the sign for Sadguna Homestay. Turn left and follow along for two Villas until you will see the entrance to our place. ... more   less
