I avoid writing bad reviews as I work in hospitality myself..but they have caused me inconvenience so I have had to mention my experience. I usually stay in 4 or 5 star hotels and my requests are only 2 which I mention even while booking that is very hot water and a quiet clean room. When I came in on 14 Jan the water was cold..I addressed them 3 times and requested them that I need to go to temples, so I need hot water..it was practically pointless..When I woke up in the morning I addressed the issue again..the water was warm. So basically this issue was addressed 5 times in total. When I returned, they put me on to Mr Khan the manager who told me, they are 'saving' their resources and to cooperate with them..and that covid has affected the whole world economy. I completely understand, however personally as Im paying full price for a 5 star hotel..Im doing it for my comfort and keeping in mind my basic requirements. i could also opt to stay in a 2 star to save my resources. Mr Khan was assertive, and not even sorry and was acting like hes doing me a favor and told me at whatever time I need hot water to let them know and they will switch on the heater..which means I have to wait for the water to become hot..it is 8 degrees in Varanasi and really cold. He needs to understand, Im not a guest in HIS house, I've paid for the hotel in full and it is not a charity or a complimentary stay and they are NOT doing me a favor by providing these basic requirements..like he was making it out to be. Or much rather, they could mention while booking- "They provide hot water only for 5 hours- 2 times a day" So, if it is important to a guest, they would easily opt for another hotel. I stayed in Surya (right behind) in Mar 21 for almost 3 weeks at less than half the price, never had any issue..the water was boiling hot 24/7..rooms were much better, quiter and cleaner. I also stay in hotels all over the world for 12-15 days a month..never experienced any single hotel saving resources through affecting customer experience with hot water..seriously! In hospitality, we all try to save our resources, but without affecting customer experience. Also, the charges of this so called 5 hotel are expensive. Why would I want to pay 5 star charges for them cost cutting on hot water? Is he my relative..or paying my pay check? I wanted to try this hotel because it was on the main road and had gym facility, which Surya unfortunately does not have. Pictures are very deceptive..my room was noisy..Towels and linen were dirty..the bathroom was well. Needless to stay wont be staying again. I read some of the reviews below, where they had similar experience and have put up pictures to. We should take the time to go through reviews before booking..this is a classic case of a mishap..I wish I read the reviews earlier. Will be updating it on google as well.…
Superb hotel, hygiene 200%, tasty food, friendly staff. In pandemic most important is hygiene and as bove mentioned the hygiene is 200%.. Stayed in other hotels as well earlier in cantonment ,but this
Hopeless front desk service along with hopeless manager behaviour who doesn’t know how to speak, for one night I stayed in a room with no window or with no view ..And will complaining regularly the he said that we have no room either stay or go.
We had a really comfortable stay. First we just wanted to stay for 2 days but we ended up for 11 days because we really liked the service and the food! Thanks for everything and keep up the good work!
Checkin and checkout was a breeze, loved the room upgrade which was pretty good. Nice food and decent service. Located in Cantonment road, safe and conveniently located to Temple. Overall a great stay and experience. Thanks.
