This was one of the most memorable and fantastic tours we have had and all thanks to Homestay. The food was excellent and delicious. Personal touch and care was well maintained. It was just like we stayed at our home and they were more than caring and honest people to take care of our needs. Room was comfortable

We stayed in November 2016 for 2 nights and had a great stay. Clean and comfortable accommodations and the meals cooked by Malika were excellent. Harish helped us arrange as little or as much with tours as we wanted - he made it very easy for us, which can be a relief in a bustling place like Varanasi. We loved... More

A wonderful oasis in the midst of Varanasi, clean, calm and welcoming. I appreciate Malika showing me how to cook a meal, and eating her delicious food made happy days. I would highly recommend this place.

Thanks to Malika, Harish and and all their staff, which includes drivers, maids, tour guides etc. We would not have enjoyed Varanasi if it wasn't for them. We needed to retreat from the city to a clean, gently place, and at the same time we wanted to go everywhere and see everything there. We got lost in Varanasi and Harish... More

My husband and I spent two nights at Homestay in early November. Varanasi was one of the highlights of our three week trip to India, but staying in calm, friendly and peaceful surroundings made it possible to appreciate Varanasi without becoming overwhelmed. We greatly enjoyed conversations with our hosts, Harish and Mallika, while savoring Mallika's delicious meals. Harish arranged all... More

Me and my friend spent 2 days in Varanasi. While Varanasi is not necessarily an easy city for a Western visitor to enjoy, this place certainly is!! An oasis of tranquility in the midst of Varanasi. Super clean, quiet and an amazing host family that goes out of its way to make you feel comfortable. I especially recommend the marvellous... More

My first solo trip, and I was fortunate to have booked here. It is a 15 minute walk to the Ganges, which could appear negative, but believe me it's not. This homestay offers structure, peace and stability, it allowed me to rest and eat good food before heading off out again. If I return to Varanasi I would book homestay.

Varanasi is a city with a forced cosmetic facade of modernity on a land of vibrant spirituality. The terrifying traffic, the narrow and unclean roads, the noise and the sheer number of people can really be threatening at first. Even if you choose to stay in a 5 star property, you will still need trust worthy and knowledgeable local people... More

We stayed there in January 2016 for five nights and would like to recommend to everyone wishing to experience Homestay with a family. Owner and his family were very nice, helpful, knowledgeable and keen on to making us feel welcomed. Food was always home cooked and different every day so we could try a lot of home made Indian cuisine.... More
