OK - there is only one thing inherently wrong with the Hotel Sheela Inn, given its price, and that is the restaurant. The food is not good - breakfast being particularly awful. Eat elsewhere. However, for what you pay (we paid 800 rupees per night), it's pretty good. It is clean and the location is great - a few hundred...

I came here after I couldn't find a room at the other sheela hotel. During the night it was as cold inside as outside, 4 degrees C. With the marble floors and no heater it was horribly cold at night. They hadn't enough blankets for all the cold guests. When morning came the promised hot showers didn't work... Bad alternative...

After a failed booking at Hotel Sheela we ended up there. The room was clean, we got towels (cleanliness okay) and a loo roll. Hot water only from 7 to 10 am and pm, but on the second morning there was a power cut so no hot water at all. They have a laundry service. Don't give valuable things: my...

When we arrived they were painting the whole hotel for a festival. Unfortunately I then spent 2 days with a headache due to the paint fumes. The food was however very good and the roof terrace would have had a distance view of the Taj (if it hadn't been for Agra's smog). There was no wi-fi but several cafe's near...

I had booked all my India hotels about two months before arriving in India. For Agra, I thought I had booked a room at The Sheela for 4 nights. Imagine my surprised when I arrived at The Sheela for check in and discovered that I had booked a room at the Sheela Inn intead! (I should've kicked myself hard for...

The service was horrendous and left me wishing i had never booked with them. I arrived late and I was shown a room that cost more because the originally room agreed upon had a broken shower. The room didn't even had a chair, the bathroom was very dirty, there was no hot water and the shower head didn't work so,...

This hotel is very well situated in Agra. The staff is very nice. The room was average, just ok. The hotel has nothing charming, just what is necessary. We were very disappointed by the fact there was no wifi Internet at all in the hotel. We had to go to the rooftop restaurant of another hotel to have access to...

I originally booked a room with Hotel Sheela which is right by the east gate but there were no more rooms there so was shuttled off to Sheela Inn, about 800m down the road near the ticket gate. My room was very clean and spacious, hot water shower worked great. Only downside is that it's not close to many restaurants....

Recently I was there with my family. I booked my room over telephone. It is nearly 7 km. away from Agra Cantt. Railway station and costs Rs.100 by Auto. The hotel is nearly 700-800m away from Taj Mahal East Gate. Walk 100m in opposite direction of Taj & you can get tickets of the Taj Mahal from Shipgram U.P Tourism...

We spent 2 weeks traveling through India, staying only at budget hotels. We were originally scheduled to stay at the main "Sheela Hotel" but arrived early and were sent here for our first night. This was by far the cleanest hotel we stayed in (even better than the origional "Sheela Hotel"). The rooms are modern and look as if they...
