Everything was very good, a fine experience of stay. Staff were very friendly, rooms were very well maintained. Breakfast was very delicious and the spread was really nice. Overall a very good experience of stay.
This was my third visit to this property in the last 2-3 years. we were here from 17-19 feb. I was skeptical as I have had mixed experiences in my earlier stay but the stay this time was very comfortable. The room had a good view of the Taj mahal. The buffet spread during breakfast was decent. They even gave a small complimentary cake as we were celebrating a special occasion. The property seemed clean and sparkling. The only area of improvement could be the time it took to clean our room. We had asked our room to be cleaned when we left for Taj Mahal but it was not done when we came back after a couple of hours. And we called again and even then it took almost an hour for someone to come and clean. They even upgraded us based on our taj innercircle gold membership. I think overall the service at this hotel has improved compared to my earlier stay. Overall had a great stay and better then what I had expected based on my previous stays…
Loved the overall experience. All thanks to Mr. Vikram berry and team. The renovated hotel lobby looks very lively. Also, the renovated rooms on the fifth floor have been done nicely. Kudos to the whole team at Tajview Agra.
Booked my stay in anticipation of the standards of a Taj property. However, not too happy with the experience. 1. Check In - Despite being a Taj Innercircle member, i was refused a free upgrade saying that the property was full. However, when i showed them that rooms were still available online, they made us wait and then upgraded to another basic category. Dont understand why can this not be honoured right away. 2. Security and Sanitisation - What is extremely shocking is that the hotel security is just not bothered about the guest baggage. All guests including us could just bring in all our baggage right though the main gate without any checks. The most basic thing is scanning the baggage through an X-ray machine. While we could see one installed, it was not being used. Puts a huge question on the security of the property. 3. F&B - Again not a Taj experience. Buffet options were basic, servers were not bothered about our comfort. While some helped, we mostly had to fetch our cutlery and food ourselves. Do understand the buffet part, but basics are taken care of even then. The property is using packaged water bottles from some local manufacturer. Again not sure why. 4. Sanitisation #Covid19 - Absolutely no one sanitising common areas like washrooms, elevators, entrance gates. Only sanitisers put at some places. Some if the housekeeping staff not even wearing masks. 5. Electronics - Room television not worked. Only sound, no picture. All in all, a not so great experience. Wah Taj!..may be no.…
Honest and supporting staff, clean and safe place to stay. Staff takes care of each and every customer and give personal attention for each detail. good buffet in breakfast and just to serve me, they prepared small portion of pasta since i wasnt much hungry and they did a very small portion for me and didnt even charge me for it
