Basic facilities but literally a cottage tucked away in the wilderness..Plenty of opportunities and access to the forests for hiking and observing the abundant wildlife around...this place is a photographers paradise..We had a very blissful experience sitting by the fire by the night..Recommend it to all nature lovers!

The place is actually in the middle of no where. Awesome location. Just awesome. Said that, this place really needs to improve on food. The place is quite expensive and the food that you get is really basic and less in quantity. Basic is fine as you expect home cooked basic food but the quantity is a major problem. They...

Offbeat location. The place is secluded and peaceful unlike other hotels in Ooty. Rooms are basic but clean. Food is good. We checked in on March 21st. Since at a relatively lower altitude than Ooty, weather was relatively warm during daytime but pleasant during night . However the location is picturesque. Manager Mr Saravanan and caretaker Mr Anban will take...

We've had the best experience of two nights at the homestay. Completely cut off from the crowded and commercial "Ooty". With bonfire and sweetest hosts, listening to the stories of the wild, watching the mist take over the sunset and listening to serene sound of nature- it was worth the experience. Would highly recommend this to someone who is visiting...

The surroundings I very much enjoyed being at whispering wilderness in Sholur in plain nature. Guide – Ambu – and manager – Promod – very helpful, competent and sympathetic and helped to make this part of my stay a success. Kitchen / Room cleaning What didn’t go well at all, was the situation in the kitchen – it was all...

Stayed at this place with friends for 2 nights. Pretty far from the town. That's what we wanted. Away from hustle-bustle. They offer huge rooms(4 people can stay). And home food. So delicious. They also take you for a hike to nearby hill which offers you beautiful view. Dogs to play with, table tennis, badminton and bonfire at night. We...

We stayed here in first week of April'15. This place is away from regular ooty tourist crowd, deep in sholur forest. Drive from Ooty to Sholur village was awesome. Road from Sholur village to this place is a mud road. You need a car with good ground clearance to cross this stretch. We were in Honda Civic henced parked the...

It is located in Sholur district [ 25 odd Kms from Ooty town]. The stay is kind of a guest house which is completely isolated from the crowd, right in mid of Nilgiris. They have very good short treks to nearby view points. If you are lucky you might sight wild animals. You will find peace in these mountain. Its...

This is one place you would like to visit again and again but only if you enjoy quiet nature, trekking and seclusion. We visited this place on 31st may and loved every moment of it. Now the place is a bit off Ooty and is a tricky drive . The place is like a private small property with just 3...
