On the way to Dolphin's Nose from Conoor town, lies the Adderley Guest House. One needs a Car or SUV in good condition ,as the road is damaged at some spots. Once you reach, you can relax, as everything is taken care of. The rooms are well maintained. They have a big lawn,a good view point amidst the tea estate,...

We were a group of 5 families who visited Coonoor during the long Independence day weekend. The place is fabolous - clean, well maintained with nice views of the valley below. The staff is also good - polite and punctual and always ready to serve us. They even accomodated special requests for small children and never gave us reason to...

A old cottage more than 100 years old with nice garden on the cliff .Enter or out this place before dark, because the only road go via thick forest from Conor. It's quite a difficult place to reach there at 9 pm - lack of mobile signal around that area makes it even harder to find this place out in the dark. But once you reach there, it's cosy stay - rooms are clean, beautiful surrounding (very close to Dolphin nose) - overall amazing. You won't feel like coming back from...

Adderley guest house is run by the Glendale estates. It is located some 12 kms from the Coonoor town. So if you have some ideas of sightseeing or going into town to take in the local flavour, you must think again unless you have a car at your disposal. It is quite isolated, and cut off . On the positive...

We stayed at Adderley in the second week of October 2013 & didn't have a good & relaxing stay. Poor directions to start with, the caretakers (a cook & a cheeky mouthed butler) gave us a hard time from asking us to purchase groceries from Coonor town to threatening to turn off the standby generator when the electricity failed one...

We stayed at the Adderley Guest House in Coonoor for 4 days in early August 2003. It was truly memorable, the reservations were easy to get done over the phone, the guest house was located on this quiet peaceful hill. The ambience, the scenery, the food (compliments to Ganesh & Selva), the beautiful garden, the tea estates, the views.....made it...
