Well, stayed at the 300 year old havelli for 2 nights in the second week of October. The location of the havelli is not that great. You will have to do some walking to visit nearby places, restaurants or enjoy time around the lake. The auto fares in the area is expensive. The havelli is excellent. For the first night...

Dear Sir, Thank you for staying with us. This is true that the access is not easy because if you want to stay in the old city near the near lake and other attraction, we have adjust with that. Soon there will be a parking in the hotel. Thank again for your review. Best regards, César

We stayed at Madri Haveli for two nights whilst visiting wonderful Udaipur. The interior design of the place is stunning. The rooms are excellent. Breakfast and dinner were superb and the staff are 100% helpful. The views from the open air rooftop restaurant have to be seen to be believed. The owner is such an obliging guy. Because we had...

What a stunning property. My husband and I just returned from a three week trip in India and could not have been more pleased with the Madri Haveli. We staid for a total of three nights and could have staid much longer. This boutique hotel is a fully renovated Haveli. The decor is stunning! Our room had a little alcove...

Got a bit late in reviewing this, I booked this hotel after reading some rave reviews and the fact that it is a haveli turned into a hotel, but turns out that the owner prefers having foreigner guests than Indians. The first day was great. I had a reservation for 3 nights for a Deluxe Room. The first day, they...

Dear Sir, First of all, you may have a done a confusion between my manager and the owner. As the owner, i ll never say that i prefer foreigner than indians. I do not think that my manager who is indian will say that too. India is my second country and i coud not accept what you say. Foreigners or...

Helpful staff. 6. Located in such a manner where most tourist attraction are on walking distance. 7. Truely worth for every buck you pay. Average food quality...

We stayed 2 nights at Madri Haveli and got to experience 3 different rooms, the standard (no AC), the deluxe (AC) and the Suite. Each room was very clean, the Suite was huge and could accommodate 4 of us comfortably. The Haveli has been nicely renovated but has kept its old charm. The decor and amenities are kept simple and...

It is difficult to rate the hotel. While the location is odd since it is not accessible by car and is about 10 mins uphill walk. Again the City palace and Lake Pichola is walking distance. The rooms are very comfortable and neatly done with a proper Haveli Look. But the surroundings are a bit shabby. The property though is...

Dear Sir/ Madam, As we are in the old city as you say the access by car is difficult. We are doing a parking just near the hotel. The hotel is offering a real indian experience in the city, so it could be little noisy to live in the middle of the city. It is difficult to have both. There is...

Great place to stay, we booked the mini suite and it was well worth it, massive room and lounge area, very authentic and clean. We had a perfect stay and would definitely go back if ever in Udaipur again. Roof terrace and breakfast were great too.
