a hotel like in a fairytale, personalized rooms centrally located in town, with many terraces, great views, near the lake and with an accomodating and friendly staff ... bit difficult to reach, but any cabdriver will gladly assist you ...

had a wonderful, stunning stay here years ago, but when we visited two weeks ago, the haveli was closed for major renovation. When I stayed I was given the top room, with wonderful traditional window alcoves with cushions for sitting in, and elephants and other animals painted on the walls. I hope all these features remain after renovation. Breakfast on...

Rooms clean and good size, food, we ate on the roof terrace every day was very good. Staff we came across were knowledgeable, helpful and seemed to enjoy their work. When back in Udaipur we'll stay there again. Love the whacky/vivid room decor in many of the rooms. Very central for everything. Do not be decieved by the street entrance...
