We stayed at the Pal Haveli for 2 nights in October 2024 as a party of 5 adults. All three rooms were wonderful - each room has a description of what the room would have been in olden days. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The water heater in one room didn't work that well but management immediately addressed the issue. The location of the hotel is fantastic - you have wonderful views of the fort from the restaurant, Indique, and its close to the Steepwell and Clock Tower, the Bazaars and Blue City. So really easy to walk everywhere. But most importantly - the staff were so friendly and professional. Should also mention Indique - this is the rooftop restaurant where you have breakfast and can also book dinner. Absolutely fantastic and the view of the Fort is as good as from RAAS Jodphur (where we stayed during our last visit to Jodphur). Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

If you're considering a stay at Pav Haveli in Jodhpur, let me share why it’s such a gem! From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. They were super welcoming and always ready to help with anything I needed, whether it was local tips or just a friendly chat.

The location is fantastic! You’ll hear the bells ringing and the chanting. It’s close to all the must-see spots like Mehrangarh Fort and the vibrant local markets, so exploring the city was a breeze. After a day of sightseeing, coming back to the peaceful ambiance of the haveli was just perfect.

The rooms have this lovely blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. I loved the decor, and some of the views were just breathtaking. And let’s not forget the food! The restaurant served some amazing Rajasthani dishes, it’s expensive but worth it for the views. You can also get great local street food so make sure you sample the local chai down the road and also the samosa and MV Spices is close by.

Overall, my experience at Pav Haveli was truly special. If you’re looking for a place that offers great hospitality, a prime location, and a taste of local culture, this is it! I can’t recommend it enough for your Jodhpur adventure!

Don’t forget to leave ample time to walk and explore The area of The Blue City.

I stayed at this hotel for one night and it was a great experience. We arrived and were offered a welcome tea and cookies while we went through the formalities of check in. Our rooms were upstairs and to access them we made a very steep staircase that took us to the most intimate area of the house. One room was directly facing the street and therefore noisy, but in India silence is a luxury. The other was facing inward, much more comfortable. Both rooms were clean and equipped with all the amenities needed for the stay. We asked for extra blankets given the temperatures and they were very quick in fulfilling our requests. The hotel restaurant certainly has a priceless view of the city fort, the offer could be better but still acceptable. Unfortunately due to the departure very near we did not use the breakfast service, but the staff was very helpful in offering us an excellent packet luch that we recovered at check out.

The hotel, in a beautiful, well-restored haveli, is located near the market.
We were well received and the reception procedures were carried out quickly.
We were told that our room was the Maharaja's and overlooks the street and market gate. It was very spacious and even had a small anteroom where we could relax and enjoy a coffee overlooking the courtyard. The decor was in style. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. The only flaw was that every now and then the power or wifi went out.
Breakfast and dinner are served in a room or on a roof terrace from which you can enjoy a beautiful view. We ate well and the service was fast.

We stayed for 2 nights: the rooms look very beautiful and old fashioned, but the beds are really comfy. Yuvi helped us with the checking in and out, serving us masala chai tea while they carried our bags up to our rooms! Breakfast comes free with the hotel rooms and I'd recommend the fresh fruit juices they serve which are very tasty

This Haveli offers an oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Jodhpur. Its very centrally located within easy walk of the market. My family was given the two rooms on the ground floor which were spacious and we were able to enjoy the courtyard between them to play cards in the evenings. The rooftop restaurant has amazing views and good food as well as pleasant service. Breakfast is to-order and there are good Indian and non-Indian options (one morning my son who has been struggling with the local cuisine scarfed down three huge pancakes). The bathrooms are a bit dated and need a good cleaning and maintenance and a new set of linens and towels would go a long way, but overall our stay at this hotel was a nice and authentic experience.

Room was huge (but could do with better black out curtains) and beautifully decorated, the artwork was incredible. The artist has a little shop within the haveli and we bought a couple of gorgeous pieces which was great. The location is amazing, and the view from the rooftop restaurant was perfect. At dinner, on the menu, they really need to add what roughly the taxes may be. We had a bottle of wine with dinner but was surprised at the cost (at around 40% extra on top of the advertised cost). We mentioned this the next day to the manager who said a few people have already mentioned this too, and said he’d look at adding an ‘up to’ cost as the taxes fluctuate a bit, to the menu, not sure if they will or not (so letting you know!)
Booking the room was a hassle as you couldn’t pay on the website but through my bank who were convinced it was a scam and took ages on the phone to sort out.
We asked the hotel to book us a taxi to Udaipur which cost 5,500 rupees which was fine. But then asked us to pay them their commission of 1,500, so in other words they charged us £15 to make a 2 minute phone call to book a cab! I understand a small commission fee, but really for this hotel it should be part of the service in my mind.

The son of the owner convinced his father to open their family historical haveli to hotel guests, and we had the most astounding historical suite (room 107) facing an inner courtyard, providing the most magical hotel experience in all of our trip in Rhajistan. You can appreciate the decor from the photos. The haveli is well preserved with historical frescos and artifacts. The roof top terrace restaurant "Indique' food was mouth watering and it has a breathtaking view of the illuminated Fort. The staff is unfailingly kind and hospitable, and we highly recommend this Haveli Hotel for a wonderful stay in Jodhpur. We visited the nearby Ras Hotel to compare and we were disenchanted by the cold reception and stark atmosphere.

We expected some convenience of getting a safe parking from a 4 star heritage property sadly there is enough space for the owner cars but not for the people who book a room.
It's like you paid to stay but the basic amenities will not be accessible to you because it is a funny rule.
I agree when you use the restaurant this rule is okay but when a person plans to spend a night or two he should look for the other things like parking etc at some place else.

Pal Haveli was a delightful experience in our recently concluded Rajasthan trip. The location, the upkeep of the property and the warm hospitality impressed us the most. The last point deserves a special mention as the staff comprised of locals who were very efficient and prompt. The food was very good too, with a view to boast of from the rooftop restaurant. The well kept haveli was a delight to explore, with lovely spaces filled with authentic memorabilia of the days gone by. We had breakfast everyday to the lovely view of the Gulabsagar lake. The rooms were super sized and clean. I would highly recommend a stay at this exquisite place. It exemplifies all that Rajasthan is.

We were there in October and afternoon tea was available from about 3 - 5 pm if I remember correctly. It is not a 'formal' event people come and go, but they do have a range of teas and snacks available in the courtyard during these times, which is good when returning from exploring the town.
