The location is fantastic! You’ll hear the bells ringing and the chanting. It’s close to all the must-see spots like Mehrangarh Fort and the vibrant local markets, so exploring the city was a breeze. After a day of sightseeing, coming back to the peaceful ambiance of the haveli was just perfect.
The rooms have this lovely blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. I loved the decor, and some of the views were just breathtaking. And let’s not forget the food! The restaurant served some amazing Rajasthani dishes, it’s expensive but worth it for the views. You can also get great local street food so make sure you sample the local chai down the road and also the samosa and MV Spices is close by.
Overall, my experience at Pav Haveli was truly special. If you’re looking for a place that offers great hospitality, a prime location, and a taste of local culture, this is it! I can’t recommend it enough for your Jodhpur adventure!
Don’t forget to leave ample time to walk and explore The area of The Blue City.

We were well received and the reception procedures were carried out quickly.
We were told that our room was the Maharaja's and overlooks the street and market gate. It was very spacious and even had a small anteroom where we could relax and enjoy a coffee overlooking the courtyard. The decor was in style. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. The only flaw was that every now and then the power or wifi went out.
Breakfast and dinner are served in a room or on a roof terrace from which you can enjoy a beautiful view. We ate well and the service was fast.

Booking the room was a hassle as you couldn’t pay on the website but through my bank who were convinced it was a scam and took ages on the phone to sort out.
We asked the hotel to book us a taxi to Udaipur which cost 5,500 rupees which was fine. But then asked us to pay them their commission of 1,500, so in other words they charged us £15 to make a 2 minute phone call to book a cab! I understand a small commission fee, but really for this hotel it should be part of the service in my mind.

It's like you paid to stay but the basic amenities will not be accessible to you because it is a funny rule.
I agree when you use the restaurant this rule is okay but when a person plans to spend a night or two he should look for the other things like parking etc at some place else.

"Ensure a room without stairs or with elevator access if that's an issue. Not a modern hotel but very comfortable with great personality."Read full review
