Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just a short drive from Jaisalmer, the Devi desert resort is a very extensive resort with carefully landscaped grounds, totally enclosed and safe for children. Our room was breath-taking...really spacious and beautifully decorated in traditional Rajasthani style. The bed was so comfortable and the linen luxurious and perfectly clean. It was quite cold at the end of December, but the lovely "camel blanket" quilts kept us snug and warm. The food was delicious and 100% vegetarian. We were treated to a marvellous New Year's Eve party around a huge fire, with music and traditional dancing. The staff were very pleasant and helpful Thank you so much for having us.

Thanks so much for your comments. We are glad that you were comfortable and warm ( on that crazy cold new years!) and enjoyed all the amenities. We do try to make it family friendly and a fun and safe space for kids to enjoy nature. Do come again when you can take a swim!

The resort is unique all over. Sankalp made it very special for us. The place is very peaceful and the rooms in particular are beautiful. Laurie made us cake which was very tasty and she was very kind and helpful. They both made our stay memorable. Thank you so much ❤️❤️. I recommend it more than staying in tents, do visit the site once if you are visiting jaisalmer.

Horrible property, overpriced rooms, rude staff. We, family of 4 with 2 small children stayed for 2 nights on new years eve, had worst experience. No kettle, heaters or quilts were provided on 1st night and after repeated demands only 1 quilt was given on 2nd night that too smelly and dirty. Resort staff is not ready to help & it was total waste of money..

Wow. While we don't aim to compete with other large hotels we do feel we have a place " where the rustic meets the refined" type environment. An alternative to other type of lodgings. Glad it met with your liking! Always welcome . Regards, Laurie
