Good part about hotel is, very courteous staff. Polite and ready to help you. They changed broken toilet flush pipe within 10 minutes. Food is average though restaurant is clean and hygiene.
I would have given 4 stars if they had better rooms. Rooms need massive upgrade. Furniture, lighting, feetings and color work are very poor state. Overall experience was good because of courteous staff.

We visited Jaisalmer this November. This was a road trip from Delhi to Jaisalmer. We had booked the property online and reached here at around 2.00 PM after a 16 hours long journey. Everybody was tired and hungry, so we decided to take lunch here only. But the service was very-very slow and it took more than an hour to serve the lunch. Was not satisfied with the service. Yes, the food was good for all the 3 times (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Since we are vegetarian, can’t say much about non-vegetarian food.

Lets come to property now;
Must say it’s a very good and well maintained property giving the blend of experience of royal rajasthan with modern amenities. Reception area in front of gate is small but there is a lot of space once you enter in the core reception hall. I guess there are 3 floors and swimming pool and restaurant is on below the ground floor. There is a lovely view of Jaisalmer fort from the roof.

Swimming pool was clean (but very small) and children enjoyed there.

Location of the hotel is also a plus point and this is very near to all the attractions like Fort, Gadi Sagar Lake, Patwon ki Haweli etc. by the way Jaisalmer itself a very small town.

We were group of five and booked two rooms. Service was really great and fast. As we were travelling during winter, staff made sure we had warm water even for drinking. Place is super clean, spacious and photogenic. The thing I liked most about the place was staff. Staff is always available to make sure guest get what they requested for. The next best thing about place is food. Food was tasty and quantity offered was amazing. Gopal singh made sure we had no complains with respect to food and abdul hamid the manager made sure we had smooth check in n check out. One of my friend forgot some of his belongings in room and staff made sure those where delivered to us.

N26.916029 E70.921574 Hotel Deoki Niwas Palace is definitely not a palace like the 1st Gate Home Fusion boutique hotel. Deoki Niwas is at the bottom of the hotel food chain and is fast falling off the cliff into oblivion. The hotel has three floors of rooms and a restaurant, pool and garden in the basement. The restaurant did not appeal to us. It is a staff canteen. The hotel is outside the outer fortress wall, 1 km from the first gate.

In November 2022, we stayed here for 2 days and we did not like the hotel at all. Unfortunately, we could not escape to another hotel. The hotel is poorly managed, not cleaned and maintained. The staff walks around as if they are from another planet, ignorant of their duties. They do not speak a word of English.

Room 110 on the first floor (1F) excels only in good Wi-Fi reception. Double bed (very hard) and room were dirty. Many things were broken. The air-conditioner did a lousy job. Room has flat screen TV, shower with minimal water pressure. Towels did not smell fresh. The bed was full of stains and the comforter full of dry pee stains. Staff's response to the pee stains was "Oh". The hotel did not have a spare comforter. The staff cleaned the room with dirty water.

Hotel Deoki Niwas Palace is a dump including a car wreck outside and management and staff do not care. Stay away.

This hotel was arranged for our us by our travel agent. It is hardly 10minutes from the Jaisalmer railway station. We reached at around 10:45pm. The dinner that night was included in our package. Mr. Bhor Singh had arranged the service in our room, well-prepared and hot meals.

The hotel itself looks like a Yellow sandstone fort. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly. Gadisar Lake is 15minutes walk from the hotel. We went there early morning to view the sunrise.

Complimentary breakfast is decent- we had Poha, upma and chole bhature other than tea/coffee/mango juice and bread/butter. Unfortunately I would have love to stay in the longer. But we had to check out for our night stay at a desert camp. But I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for suggestions in Jaisalmer.

Adorable people with good hygiene and excellent service.

There's a pool inside and make sure to take a dip inside to feel the winters in jaisalmer.

Food is pretty good, you can try masala omlet and don't forget to try chai if you are a chai lover

My experience at Deoki Niwas was average. The rooms were not very clean and had dirty table tops and cushions.

The service was really slow. The washrooms were clean.

They also have a swimming pool which is quite aesthetic.

The breakfast buffet didn’t have a lot of options but the food was decent.

We also ordered fried rice and manchurian in the room which was not at all good.
