After some days in the desert it's a great place to stay, with hot shower, western bathrooms and nice rooms. Really nice staff, actually some of the hotel workers invited me for dinner and drinks at their friends house! And nice rooftop!

I regret going to Jaisalmer. The whole city business are the desert safaris, not anything else. The Golden Fort is nice, but if you already been in Udaipur and Jodhpur, is pretty much the same, but with houses and stores inside. Well, the business of this place and most others is just trying to rip off tourists with the tours....

Please beware if you are taking off your clothes or doing anything private in your room here... my room had two-way mirrors on both walls which meant you can see into the room at night but the person inside only sees a mirror! I found this a bit creepy and managed to remedy this by hanging a towel over one...

Met one of the managers at the train station in Jodhpur on my way to Jaisalmer, he told me about his place and asked me to check it out, and I did. The rooms are big with cable TV, large bathroom with hot water in the morning but not in the evenings. Beds are rocksolid! Rooftop restaurant is not so...

The rooms were spacious, and the bargain was good, but the camel safari was extremely overpriced, and language is another problem, as you cannot keep up with them. :P The location is average, but the restaurant closes even when promised to serve us food, had to walk to the nearest restaurant at 10.30 in the night to eat.

I will start off by saying something a lot of the other travelers have said - Yes, the beds are very hard. Nothing to do about it, it's almost the standard in India (Most places anyway) and finding a decent mattress is a challenge. However, the rest of the hotel experience is lovely. I talked to the owners beforehand and...
