It's my second time to Jaisalmer and I would love to share my unforgettable experience with Hotel MERI HAVELI . This is a newly built property with big and wide beautiful rooms, a very clean and hygienic place. The interior is also very nicely done in a Rajasthani theme by the owner, Fifu. The most important thing is that the rooms are very beautiful and cozy with big beds and soft mattresses. Bathrooms are also big and well made. Hot and cold water and the shower is separate. You have all the amenities in the room like a 5 star hotel (A/c, Heater, wi-fi, smart tv with Netflix, tea/coffee maker, desk, closet). Upper rooms have balconies and windows with a fort view. If you want room service, it's quick. The restaurant is also very hygienic and clean on thel rooftop. Food was also very delicious and budget friendly with real Rajasthani taste. The Hotel owner Mr. Fifu, is one of the greatest people I've ever met. He is very very polite, humble and helpful and feels like my family. I am a traveler and have travelled a lot but it's hard to meet this kind of person, who really needs full satisfaction and happiness of his guests. He is well known around jaisalmer and has his own desert camp too. Trust me, it's a really great experience with the camel safari, cultural dance show and Rajasthani food and peaceful desert. They arrange a Jeep ride from the hotel to Fifu desert camps and mr. Soda, Fifu's driver drives you out to the desert camp. I avoided going to other camps because they were all too commercial.
I stayed in Meri haveli almost 2 weeks with my wife and loved it. I will definitely come back soon. It's a really lovely, heart warming experience for me. Here the staff are also really polite, hardworking, and very well behaved and the atmosphere is very positive.
This hotel is located 1.3 k m from the fort, hardly a 5-7 minutes walk, and it's safe and intersting. I avoided staying close to fort area because it's very busy, noisy and crowded. They have airport, railway station pickup/ drop and shuttle service too. And if you have your own vehicle so they have really good parking area.
Thanks Mr. Fifu and team for everything 🙏💐❤️🐫🏜️

Meri Haveli is a jewel in Jaisalmer. I had booked this stay for my parents' anniversary. The host, Mr. Om, was the one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of knowing. He welcomed my parents personally, and was a wonderful, humble and caring host. My parents were touched by the hospitality of the hotel staff, and absolutely loved the cleanliness, aesthetics, decor and location of the hotel. They said "It felt like their home" in Jaisalmer. The rooms are extremely well decorated. The efforts that Mr. Om took to ensure that my parents had a comfortable stay are truly appreciated. It is a brand new hotel, spotless and very hygienic. Would 100/100 recommend couples, families and friends to stay at Meri Haveli. Thanks to the staff for taking care of my parents!

We had an amazing stay in the hotel. The owner is too humble and went over an above to make our stay comfortable. He was present at the hotel everytime and always used to check on us to make sure we were comfortable. He owns Hotel Fifu also.

The building seemed new and had all the amenities in top notch condition. The interiors are well decorated with Rajasthani theme, yet the electronics and facilities were all modern. The rooms were big and neat and clean.

There are two different types of rooms and we booked both of them. The front facing room is the bigger room and has an attached bed near the window. There is also a table, chair and sofa like seating space near the window. The other room was also good in size with table, chair and seating space near the window. It had a balcony also. The bathrooms had all the modern fittings and an attached geyser also.

There is a rooftop restaurant where we can have food. For breakfast we were allowed to order 1-2 dishes per person there which was good and homely. The seating space is also good there and we get an amazing few of Jaisalmer Fort from there.

We checked out four property in that street and then picked this for it's cleanliness, size and decoram of the room and the owner's humble nature. We also checked multiple rooftop restraunts in the street but this had the best view of the fort, seating arrangement and it was covered which is good in summers.

We recently visited Jaisalmer with family and stayed at Meri Haveli. The stay was wonderful. The owner Mr. Om Kewaliya ji personally looks after their guests. The staff is also very courteous.
The best part about this place is its décor and location. This place is at a 5 mins drive from Jaisalmer fort and the main market. If you are into walking, you can easily walk upto the Fort and the market. It is little inside a lane so you can peacefully enjoy bird's chatter in the morning.
The decor was a perfect blend of modern and traditional Rajasthani art....I could enjoy the room with all modern amenities while seeing the typical Rajasthani Kantha and applique work all over the place.
I didn't click any pictures of the room but the rooms were exactly the same as shown on this site.. sparkling clean !
I would recommend this place for stay in Jaisalmer. And yes, because of this comfortable stay we extended our stay by one more day 😊

Unforgettable stay at Meri Haveli! Led by the incredible Hote Fifu, this Jaisalmer gem exceeded expectations. The warm staff, breathtaking views, and impeccable service made our experience exceptional. The authentic Rajasthani decor and architecture, combined with modern comforts, created a perfect blend. The rooftop terrace offered mesmerizing sunset views, accompanied by delectable cuisine. With Fifu's personalized recommendations, it was an enchanting stay filled with genuine hospitality. A true desert oasis!

I booked Meeri Haveli for the excellent reviews I Ifound and the experience was even better than expected. The hote is new, built with the clear yellow sand stone of the That desert. The rooms have a good size and are lovely decorated. The bathrooms have everything you need even a good hairdryer.
The owner, Mr Om Kewalya and his team are very friendly, helpful and assist you in everything you may need.
And then there is the rooftop terrace. Sitting there having a chai (Indian tea) or a Lassi looking at the Jaisalmer Ford is a sight you will not forget and will want to see again

If you come to Jaisalmer you should stay here.

The owner here is very friendly and kind. As a Japanese, I can't speak English, so I use a translator to speak, but the owner also uses a translator to reply. This makes me very happy.

Nice rooms and nice hospitality are waiting for you. The rooms are very clean and well decorated. The shower is very warm and has a hair dryer. There is also a heater if the room is cold.

It's about 10 minutes walk to the market. After enjoying sightseeing, you will be able to spend a quiet time.

I stayed in this new hotel called Hotel Meri Haveli which is owned by Fifu who runs Fifu Guest House (where I have stayed on many trips to Jaisalmer). Located just accross the laneway from the other guest house, Hotel Meri Haveli is a step up in terms of the rooms and also has the same amazing and freindly service offered at Fifu.

The rooms and bathrooms are large and beautifully furnished. The bathrooms are great - they have hot water when needed! As I traveled in summer the room was so cool even without AC or fan - but these were available in the room also. Everything was clean and fresh.

There is an enclosed dining room and rooftop where I spent many a morning or afternoon resting and reading with a view to the Jaisalmer Fort. I enjoyed delicious breakfast, snacks and drinks made by the staff in their small kitchen.

The 2nd best part about this property is that it is a little bit out of the main city (about 10 mins walk). This means that you are able to relax in your room or in the dining room or terrace without traffic noise.

The best part about the property is Fifu, his son Lucky and the amazing staff Misry, Asu, Bhoma and Sodha who are so kind and helpful.

This time I was traveling on my own and felt safe and secure at Hotel Meri Haveli.

Recommend for everyone coming to Jaisalmer to stay here!

The place was really great with a very friendly owner who spoke fluently french, spanish and english. The room was spacious, very clean with all the facilties we can ask for. The location was very convenient only 5min walking distance from the city centre of Jaisalmer and it was very great to take breakfast and diner on the top of the hotel with the whole view of the fortress. The breakfast, lunch and diner were excellent with fair price and very nice staff. I will strongly recommanend this place for who want to spend a good time in Jaisalmer

I learned about Meri Haveli from a friend, who told me it was the place to stay if I ever visited Jaisalmer.

Now, after spending ten days there, I truly understand why.

From the moment you step through the door, you forget that you are staying in a hotel.

First of all, the host treats you like a cherished member of the family and quickly becomes your guide through the enchanting experience of staying in the Golden City.

Then, upon entering your room, you gain the strong feeling that a time machine has finally been invented and someone has taken you back in time to the palace of the Maharaja. The seamlessly integrated traditional haveli style is complemented by a touch of luxury reminiscent of the era of kings.

And just when you think the experience couldn't get any better, you embark on a desert tour. It's tailor-made for every taste - for the adventurous spirit, there's wild camping, while those with a penchant for culture can enjoy a traditional bonfire. All this amidst a million-star hotel, where you can actually see the stars above your head.

I won't say more, as such an experience is best enjoyed firsthand.

Gratitude to Hotel Meri Haveli and its owner, Fifu.
