Minutes away from the Jaisalmer Fort, Desert Tulip Hotel and Resort stands as an oasis of warmth and hospitality in the heart of the enigmatic Thar. A towering sandstone wonder synonymous with romance, chivalry, culture and beauty. The hotel embraces intricate carvings on the yellow sand stone made by the local craftsmen, blending tradition with contemporary elegance. The amicable and tranquil environment of the hotel, along with its beautifully landscaped gardens surrounding the pool lends itself to mystical evenings. It offers a glimpse into the rich culture of the rural Rajasthan with traditional dances and rustic music by local artists.

At Desert Tulip Hotel & Resort, guests are often captivated by the regal atmosphere and cultural programs. While the rooms are reported as comfortable and clean, attention is needed for maintenance and room amenities. The grounds and dining options receive compliments for their beauty and spaciousness, yet some guests find the pool lacking. Cleanliness generally earns high marks, though linens sometimes fall short. Service is well-regarded, with staff praised for their eagerness, though peak times may slow responsiveness. Opinions on value vary, with some questioning the balance of cost versus amenities and room quality.

We stayed for a night at this property as our agent had booked this. It looks too good from the outside and we were wowed by its appearance as we approached it . Staff is friendly and all is good until we actually got to the room. No doubt the room size is huge in comparison to other hotels but it’s totally worn out. Old & rugged. Has musty smell and lacks basic aminities like tissue paper, hair dryer etc. Only tea bags were kept and not coffee!
The linen looked like it wasn’t changed since the last guest had left. I requested for fresh pillow cases as the very thought of sleeping on a soiled bed was sickening. Linen had stains and crumpled too.
Next, the locker in the room was broken. 2 technicians worked on it for nearly half an hour but couldn’t fix it still.
Hot water is very temperamental. Comes in dribs and drabs.
I give full marks to the staff and housekeeping who are totally obliging and deliver anything we request but as the property is vast and they are stretched with a lot to do, every request took at least 15 to 20 minutes to deliver.
Good example of looks can be deceiving. Management needs to have a good look at maintenance!!

If you go to Rajasthan and don't talk about the palace, can this ever happen? Definitely no and
have you ever thought that how good it would be if I also get to live in such a palace, Yes With Tulip you can make your dream come true.

Desert tulip is very huge property just looks like any palace, which is located just 2.3 km away from jaisalmer railway station.

Really this property is very beautiful and ideal place for destination wedding, thier huge and gorgeous swimming pool is the main attraction, where you can enjoy with your family, and friends.

In terms of food and service so they served authentic and lip smacking rajashthani, north india and continental cuisine with best and quick service, staff is very humble and always happy to help you

They have beautifuly designed Deluxe and suite room, which is very luxurious and very comfortable, really it was great experience for me and my family, my kids was also enjoyed a lot, highly recommended....thank you team desert tulip

Beautiful property with huge well maintained lawns. Big rooms
Good food .
House keeping is rather poor.
Swimming pool is the size of a puddle and opens only at 8am.. so can't use it in the morning before going for sightseeing

Have not come across a worse Hotel than Desert Tulip, Jaisalmer in my life. Zero service, very poor bathrooms, shabby beds and towels and completely untrained hotel staff.Staff does not respond to any of your call and despite we staying in a suite even the basic landline phone. Was not working. The resort looks good only in pics. All in all a terrible experience of staying for 3 nights. It's a complete mess.

The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the views are beautiful. The swimming pool with hot water is very clean and helps to regenerate after hot trip in the dessert. Hope to be there again. Really thanks from tourists from Poland. See you again.

The ambiance of thios resort is awesome with a fort like palace feeling and expanse, a beautiful pool, fantastic welcome drink and welcome. Where it lacks is maintenance in room, our house phone had a problem, plug points which we could have used to charge our mobiles had a problem, the lighting was too dim in room for our liking and the curtains were all home to mosquitoes. The plumbing in the bathroom too hneeded some maintenance with the shower automatically starting even if you selected the tap.
Werer it not for these kinks, the hotel would have got a five star for the construction and ambiance. The food was decent but paled in compariuson to others which we stayed at in Jodhpur and Bikaner.

If only the facade matched the interior! While an impressive hotel with lovely grounds and a stunning reception area, it is clear that the rooms have been poorly finished with areas lacking paint, plumbing issues (one of our two rooms had lukewarm water while the other rocketed between boiling and freezing). A TV wouldn’t turn off (the outlet seemingly behind a very heavy cabinet we couldn’t move) and nobody seemed able to sort it.
The included buffet breakfast and dinner options were fine. The service generally was good.
As a mid range (3*) hotel it’s fine. It’s a shame because such a beautiful building in such a beautiful city could be so much better.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a few days during a wedding event, and it was an outstanding experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, from impeccable service to attention to detail. The rooms were not only comfortable but also beautifully decorated. The wedding venue was stunning, and the entire event was flawlessly executed. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional hospitality and commitment to creating a perfect atmosphere for special occasions.

Highly dissatisfied with the kind of service levels. Bathrooms not upto the mark. Water taps do not work. Room service pathetic. Housekeeping guys do not turn up on time. Food average. No cleanliness. The rooms are priced very high. No value for money.
