Our check in was on 1st Jan, and I knew it is one of the most difficult date to get an early check in, especially because most rooms are occupied on a package and rise late after a late night New year celebrations on 31st December.
I still made a desperate call to the hotel and when I explained that I was coming with young kids, Mr Mangi took precisely 6 minutes to confirm that our room would be ready. And when we reached the hotel, after a quick check in, yes my room was ready with the extra bed already placed in it. Mr Mangi was sensitive to understand when I explained him my situation. Not most hotels in the world do that.

We soon ordered early lunch as we were starving, especially my kids. Butter chicken is the most commonly available dish in india, but rarely they make it well. And this one here, was finger licking. And equally good was their locals preparation Kair Sangri, and the tomato soup. Post this, we all wanted to have the dinner at the hotel only and butter chicken, tomato soup, and green salad became our standard order, with more dishes.
We did try the Hakka noodles, chilli chicken and the Asian fish preparation, the Indian deserts, and everything was better than the other.
I was disappointed when I saw the Hawaii salad when I saw it with mayonnaise. But to my delight, they replaced it with an alternate of my choice within no time.

But one thing that stood out the most was, their promptness and speed of service. The food orders never took more than 20 minutes to get served in the room.
Their housekeeping never took more than 2-3 minutes, I mean it, never more than 2-3 minutes to service our request.

The coffee shop was always busy and crowded, and with every possible variety of guests. And not all were well behaved and patient. And I spite of being low in number, the staff was fast, sensitive and amazing. And the Chef at the eggs counter did a fine job on every single day.

Incredible, that is the word I would use for the staff at this hotel. Nothing More, Nothing LESS.

I have not travelled the entire world, but I have travelled some part of Europe, Russia, and most part of Asia. And I won’t mince words in saying that “This hotel hasn’t the finest and the fastest staff we have ever come across.”

In a nutshell, if we ever go to Jaisalmer, it would be for this hotel only. Because every single staff member or manager that we came in touch with, was absolutely fabulous. And this feedback comes from everyone in my family.

Thank you so much for making our stay so so beautiful.

All the best to you all.

It was a delightful experience to stay at the Saira Fort Sarovar Portico. Staying during this pandemic scenario the team at the Hotel is very well prepared with the hygiene, sanitization, and social distancing measures. The housekeeping team had ensured that the room was always clean & safe every time we asked them to do so. It was lovely to meet with Mr. Amit the Duty Manager, he was extremely polite & helpful during the entire stay. While having the meals, at Nosh Mr. Chaggan & Mr. Neeraj gave us recommendation for rajasthani meals and topped up with a delicious dessert. Moong Dal Ka Halwa was a dessert not to share but to remember. The meal was scrumptious.. The entire team had been extremely nice and friendly making sure that we have a pleasant experience and would come back sooner.

‘Sairafort’ is located on the Jodhpur Highway that allures people towards its peaceful atmosphere and their hospitality shown to all its customers. This spectacular hotel has aesthetically decorated rooms that gives mystical feeling of living in a fort. The garden, lawns and the swimming pool adds a transcendental view to the architecture. The food was too delicious especially the non-vegetarian dishes.
Though it is situated away from the usual humdrum of the city but at the same time it is well connected to all the tourist spots like the Jaisalmer Fort, Gadisar Lake, and Patwon ki Haveli.
I had enjoyed a lavish stay there.

A serene, well-placed, elegant palace, where you get served with all the royalty and luxury on a platter and get your doze of feeling like a princess or Prince just right.
This beautiful hotel is located far enough from the city to keep you from the whole hustle of the city and close enough so that you can easily reach city in no longer than 30 minutes. Saira fort offers not only the best of the best services for stay, food, hospitality and transportation but also an amazing view of the Jaisalmer Fort through its windows. The rooms are intricately decorated and super cozy. The food is scrumptious and you get to see an outstanding variety of it. The staff is very helpful and pally. They arrange for musical nights in their exquisite and large gardens, so that the guests get to experience the best experiences of Rajasthani folk arts. In short, they offer a quality holiday accommodation with finest cuisines and views.

Firstly the staff is very shabbily dressed. Second the room looked ready but on close inspection noticed the following 1) Housekeeping had NOT changed the bed sheet , pillow covers and the duvet cover. They were all crushed from previous use. This just not acceptable 2) Only one hand towel and one tea mug for double occupancy. No stirrers
They need to pull up their staff and ensure that the rooms are properly remade and staff does not cut corners by not changing the sheets.

We visited this property for our family trip , and was accompanied by our 4 years old daughter..
Despite of requesting again and again for milk or baby food.. there was no response on servings, the reception said we have 24 hours services available for a fixed menu , and milk for baby.
But there was no courtesy out of the kitchen staff . They not only kept disconnecting the calls , but also made the service no unavailable .
After calling to reception several times, reception guy himself somehow managed to connect to there own kitchen to request for our order.. on that the entire staff misbehaved with the reception ... We being the guest was also misbehaved badly. Saying jisko complain karni hai Kar lo, tum Kya ukhadoge .. Tumhe hum dekhte hai aapne kamre see bahar Niklo......

I guess this is my first ever review on trip advisor,
This property sucks big time, they do not cooperate at all, rather they are also very aggressive .
My little daughter had to suffer hunger the entire night... Due to our wrong decision of choosing to stay with saira fort .

Don't be fooled by the ratings as we got,
I do not recommend this property at all,

Pathetic stay

The room service staff is highly rude just saying jo ukhad na hai ukadh lai jo karna hai karlai hum nahi karengai.... saying u order once not again again n again.. this kind of service is not acceptable at any level.. When complaint front office staff said the same thing why u ordering four times you should order at once... This is when they have 24*7 in room menu...

Please do not come to this hotel if u have any self respect at all. As these guys will make u feel that why u came to this place.. Not recommended at all

We stayed at this hotel in February 2020. The hotel has a welcoming staff. The rooms are good-sized and the beds are comfortable. There is air conditioning in the rooms but not the lobby. The hotel is quiet but is a 15-20 minute drive from most tourist attractions. There is an outdoor pool. The restaurant has good food but on the expensive side. Yoga is available for a charge.

This hotel is located in an industrial area, property & rooms are good but hygiene levels are average. Reception staff seems clueless most times, manager was out of sight most times. Even a simple request to replace the room kettle was not handled well by the staff. They put wrong figures in my food bill by increasing food prices by almost 10% hence please check your final bills diligently.
