Looking at the reviews here and the facilities mentioned, I booked a 3 night stay in this hotel at a cost of Rs.13,000+. Everything looks good from the outside, but the facade is broken when you enter the rooms. The electric kettle was rusted inside, the walls were cracked, the bed covers torn, bathroom tiles cracked, the toilet was also cracked at the bottom and shaking. I immediately raised a complaint in MakeMyTrip through which I had booked the room. They contacted the hotel and got a confirmation about the problems. The next trouble started when we went to their rooftop restaurant for dinner. It is fully open and in the single degree temperature of Jaisalmer, we were getting frozen and had to rush back to the room after asking them to deliver the food to the room. The breakfast also had a similar issue. Breakfast was not delivered to the rooms and so people had to brave the morning cold and have it in the open roof. The food had gone cold and were also not covered. Thankfully MakeMyTrip reduced the cost and refunded the amount and I was able to cut short my stay by one night.

I travelled to Jaisalmer for the new year celebration along with 2 other couples. After looking at the reviews in internet, checking the website, we decided to stay at this hotel but there was series of bad incidents.
When we spoke to the owner for booking, we were told that they have 5 category of rooms and explained us the difference in facilities there. We opted for the best one available for a family.
Upon arrival we were told by the attendant that all the rooms are exactly same and there is no difference. The owner with whom we spoke at the time of booking was not available for discussion as he was completely drunked.
We booked for double bed rooms but were given twin bed rooms as no double bed was available. Upon asking for a double bed we were bluntly told that we can go out of the hotel. We didn't had a option as we had already paid the 2 days tariff for all the 3 rooms in advance.
In the entire hotel there were only 3 people serving the entire 19 rooms all 24 hours...you can understand the delays here.
Upon checkout, we were given a further inflated bill by the owner quoting that the room tariff is higher because of the new year. Luckily I was carrying a printout of the e-mail where he confirmed me the rates, else we would have ended up paying few thousands more.
The rooms were extremely dirty.....no room cleaning for 2 days....blankets available were not sufficient...etc etc....
In summary, never go for this property if are looking for an accomodation in Jaisalmer.

The staff were super friendly, and the rooms were super clean. I was in India when the cricket was on and it was very fun enjoying a beer or two with the attentive staff. Highly recommended.

This hotel is and does exactly what it says on the tin: a deluxe bansuri hotel. Actually it surpasses all my expectations. Looking back I can gladly say we found the secret jewel of Jaisalmer. It's a gorgeous newly built hotel and from the roof you can sit and absorb the beautiful view of the fort, orange sunset and Jaisalmer town. If you stay here you'll be in the perfect location for the attractions of Jaisalmer town. I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Jaisalmer in my 3 months there (I was working in the Jodha and Dabla village) and I can honestly say this hotel is the best. The staff were friendly, patient (I can be a diva sometimes), helpful and most importantly not dodgy! I cam with friends (some teachers, nurses and doctors) who all came to help out in the village but this hotel is the kind you could bring family (children would be safe, teenagers entertained with the t.v/internet), backpackers as well as couples if you wanted. This hotel was so relaxing it gave the balance to our trip to India. During the weekday we worked but on weekend we could do touristy things such as shopping in nearby markets, sightseeing old ruins and just enjoying the wonderful weather.

There are deluxe rooms available, which is where my friends and I stayed in. They were the most spacious, clean (and that was extremely important for me), comfortable and cute rooms in my life have been blessed to see. They came with a quiet little a/c (the others hotels we stayed in had terrible rattling noisy things were as in this one you didn't even notice a hum) and TV which had some channels in English, mtv as well as Indian channels. The rooms came with private bath rooms that had a shower with hot and cold water; you'd be surprised how many hotels that say they do don't. Good food quality (some places the chicken tasted like rubber not here). Moreover, the walls were thick and we could get a decent night’s sleep in other hotels the walls were so thin you could hear everything going on next door which was terrible. I guess you could say I'm a long time observer on tripadvisor but new writer and it's because I had never came across a hotel so great that I thought it needed/ought to have a mention. Yet, with deluxe hotel bansuri I felt I just had to tell the world about it; the hotel deserves it. Also one thing I forget to say the ambiance and atmosphere was superb- it was like we joined a big family. I would highly recommend this hotel, come on... come on you're getting a really good deal!
