Room amenities were ok. We had to kill multiple spiders though (hiding over canopy ceiling). Very nice dining area and common areas. Poor choice of food though - when we arrived late evening we were told that the only dining option is buffet - we checked and for vegetarians there was only dal and biryani. Not much choice especially in... More

A hotel where you can escape the loud and busy India. Nice garden, pool could be cleaner. Rooms have old furniture and are very dark and could be cleaner but for Indian circumstances ok. Bathroom was very big but a bit dusty as same as the room. Bathroom had warm but certainly not hot water. No wifi in rooms, only... More

Bikaner. Having visited Jodhpur Fort, we checked out of Haveli and proceeded by road to Bikaner. (Distance 327 Km Time about 6 hours) Initially the stretches were under repair but later it became satisfactory and we arrived Bikaner accommodation by past lunch time and checked in to a heritage hotel Bhairon Vilas adjacent to the Fort. This fort was not... More

The hotel is located right beside the Junagadh fort, and is a 170 year old haveli remade into a hotel. The rooms are beautiful and cozy with all essential amenities. The following are the shortcomings of the place - Very limited options for breakfast. The restaurant does not open before 8.30 and the service is hopelessly slow - We had... More

Innovative restoration of historic haveli in the heart of the town, beautiful garden spaces, swimming pool, fountains; zany lounge-bar and fabulous boutique at really reasonable prices, and a restaurant with delicious authentic Bikaneri cuisine.

My sister and I spent three nights in Bhairon Vilas. The hotel is a beautiful old Haveli set in very peaceful surroundings with lovely gardens. We had booked a heritage suite, which was enormous and opulent, but somewhat dark and disappointingly, no outside space to sit. The first morning we arrived, there was a small group of foreign tourists sitting... More

A heritage property situated near the fort. Location - Near to the fort, can get a little difficult in locating it, but you could ring them up and they'll direct you. Parking for cars is there inside the compund. Rooms - We chose the ground floor heritage rooms. Rooms are very spacious, decently maintained, air conditioned and clean. They have... More

Whilst this hotel is a beautiful, historical indian 'haveli' we found it a very disappointing place to stay. We are a family of four with two teenage children and when we arrived our son (16) had succumbed to an indian stomach upset. We had requested two twin rooms close to each other as we often have to endure a lot... More
