This was our first trip to the Valle Vidal area for fishing and relaxation and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay at. The accomodations were very nice and cozy. We stayed in the cabin and it was very comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy a nice BBQ dinner. Our hosts Lawrence and MaryAnn are very...

We go up to the Valle Vidal each summer and have always stayed quite far away....in Red River or Questa. From now on, we will stay at the MW Bar Ranch. Mary Ann and Lawrence are excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful but not too talkative or involved as some B & B hosts we have experienced. The house is...

Our family with 2 active boys stayed 2 nights in the cabin at the MW Bar Ranch and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mary Ann and Lawrence are extremely gracious hosts and gave us pointers on the best fishing spots and how to navigate areas in the Valle Vidal. We stayed in the cabin and couldn't have found it more enjoyable. Comfortable and charming surroundings. Breakfast was awesome and accommodating to our personal tastes. Mary Ann and Lawrence are charming and gracious hosts. Convenient to our visit to the Valle Vidal but nice place to fly fish right on the property. We will be back.

My wife and I were visiting the Rio Costilla area in December, while looking for a quiet vacation home and stayed here during our search. The setting is fantastic, with our stay in the straw bale cabin being cozy and warm. This was a good first encounter with a straw bale building and it performed marvelously. Our hosts were gracious...

This was one of the NM B&Bs that offered a free night to veterans for the national program to honor veterans over Veterans Day, so I thank the hosts, a married couple, for doing that. I enjoyed talking to them. The main house (there is also a detached casita) is very beautiful and spacious and, much to my liking, is...

Stayed in the cabin for a weekend in late October. Travel with another couple who stayed in the house. Great place, comfortable, great hosts and great food. Fishing on private water in late October was slow but two of us who fished both had luck. Highly recommend MW Bar Ranch and will be back.
