Debra and her team provide a level of service I have not received anywhere else other than with close friends and family. To stay at Kaiya House was like visiting old friends, they made my husband and I feel completely at home from the very first phone call, to the subsequent 2 when I had to alter the booking. Debra...

Kaiya house offers very comfortable, attractive, clean rooms and has a fantastic roof terrace to socialise with other guests or just relax with a good book. However what makes Kaiya House so special is the opportunity to spend time with Debra and her excellent staff. Debra made us feel very welcome right from the start giving us a walking tour...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a lovely review for us. It was great to meet you and I also wished you could have stayed longer. Maybe we'll meet in London for a Kaiya House in London party!

I think you have to be plain simple "Lucky" to chance upon a place like Kaiya House. And if you have traveled fairly wide &often, from the moment you write your first email to Debra, you would know that you are going to have once-in-a-lifetime-experience. Mine definitely started that way. I just couldn't wait to see Debra. The rooms are...

Oh how lovely, you're too sweet. Thank you so much for your kind words and it was so nice to meet you both. You said you would likely come back and I hope so! And perhaps we'll have a chance to one day meet for a "piping hot coffee" in your city!

Kaiya House is a really special place.Deb and her team take great care to help you make your stay just how you want it to be. Deb makes sure to show you both tourist and "real" India, which adds lots to your stay. Really tasty Indian/western style breakfasts set you up for the day. The location is good too - 10...

Maybe you need to travel all over India, for many months, on seven different trips -- as I have -- to really appreciate Kaiya House. It is one of those rare places, where all the stars line up, to give the weary travel a true respite from the travails of the road. Set back from the cliff top scene, in...

This was a lovely, clean place to stay in Varkala village. Deborah was an interesting host who gave us a gentle introduction to this amazing country. Apu the driver she organised for our stay was a very jolly chap who seemed happy to look after us and was not pushy like rickshaw drivers i have encountered in other parts of...

The cleanest accom that I stayed in in India. Debra the owner goes the extrA in making sure her guests feel welcome and enjoy their stay. She absolutely goes above and beyond and as a solo female traveller it was so nice to have the staff taking care of you, giving you advice and creating a warm environment. The roof...

I stayed at Kaiya House in March with 3 friends while travelling in Kerala and Goa. As a B&B owner myself I know how hard it is to cater for all tastes and requirements but Debra certainly succeeds. The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable, tastefully and individually decorated and, most importantly, spotless, The breakfasts were served on the lovely roof...

Having never visited India before we read plenty reviews of different places all over Kerala and Varkala.
