The homestay is about a 10 mins walk from the cliffs and beach in a lovely, peaceful area. Perfect if you don't want to be amongst all the tourist hubbub, but close enough to be a part of it if you want to. Keep an eye out for the Casa Eva Luna sign on the main road pointing out the...

We loved our stay here. Nice quiet place away from the noise and bustle of the touristy cliff and beach but close enough to walk to or catch a tuk tuk. Katrina and Esther are very helpful hosts supplying maps, beach towels and umbrellas if needed. They also have a great library so was able to swap my books. Esther...

Casa Eva Luna doesn't claim to have the things it doesn't have: AC, cliff-top location. It is an honest straightforward offer. It has simple rooms in a lovely Keralan house with a big annexe for more modern rooms at the rear. The public areas are lovely: bright, fresh, comfortable verandahs and dining rooms, but what really makes it is the...

Having arrived here from Mumbai, it's was the perfect antidote to the stresses of a big city. It is located in a quiet street a short walk (10min) from the bars and restaurants on the Cliff and the beaches, making them near enough to be accessible but far enough away that we could escape the busy strip and come back...

It's in the small things: always wish you a good day, alway ask how your day was, when the rain kept on pooring, offering to make a sandwhich for us, because we couldn't go out anymore, etcetera...

We had a wonderful 7 night stay at Casa Eva Luna. It was a very relaxing place to recharge our batteries after a hectic couple of weeks in Northern India. Katrina and Esther are lovely hosts, from staying up til midnight for our arrival to providing us with beach towels, torches and umbrellas. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace for...

I stumbled upon Casa Eva Luna when looking for a place to stay in Varkala and am so happy I found Katrina & Esther. If you are anything like me, you'll want to get away from the North Cliff scene about 5 minutes after arriving, and this B&B provides just that - a quiet place to spend your time, while...
