We stayed in the Hotel for 1 night and booked the more expensive deluxe room which was not deluxe at all but still looked bit better than the normal room. The room was smelling like cigarette and the bedsheets had burning wholes. The Bathroom was clean and with hot water. Wifi is only downstairs at the reception but not in...

Stayed here for a day as the hotel I had booked did not have check outs as expected. A clean budget hotel with friendly staff, as they allowed me to check in at 2 am. Room and toilet were small but clean. They didn't have any lift and hence had to use the staircase at all times. No wi-fi and...

I've been staying in the Princess Inn for almost 15 years and have found the location excellent and the staff very helpful. It's centrally located only one block off MG road, walking distance from the bus and train station. If you want internet access in your room you might try room 104 - a large corner room directly above reception....

Rooms are pretty average, as would be expected with the price, but clean and suitable. Staff and general atmosphere lovely and helpful. Very good location, near to town and the bus/train station. No wifi in the room, but works sufficiently in the lobby. Also no restaurant, but tea/coffee/water available. (Plus a nice smart restaurant in the hotel opposite (with beer!))

I stayed at the Princess Inn for eight nights over New Year and paid 625 rupees per night for a single room during peak tourist season. The room had a double bed with a thin, soft pillow plus a fan and a tv with a limited choice of channels. The attached bathroom had a toilet and cold shower. The service...

Close to the train station Unreliable wifi - appalling if you are trying to achieve something over the internet - posting on Facebook, sending emails. Doesn't reach rooms, certainly not on 3rd floor. You find people sat on the stair well trying to get wifi. I chose a single non-ac room due to the cost of a/c. The room was...

Hotel itself is ok for a nights stay but nothing special with room a little buggy and bathrooms not the cleanest. The main problem with this place is the most unfriendly welcome received from the female receptionist. It felt like she didn't want us there and was annoyed we wanted to see the room first. Then due to being hot...

The Princess Inn is clean enough (although there was a small cockroach on our bed) but the rooms are very poky and the head board on the bed was pretty grotty. The walls were an unpleasant shade of pink. We paid 840 rupees for the night for this room with a fan. They were very flexible about our changing our...

We paid 750INR for a non a/c room per night. The room was quite small but clean. The bathroom was clean as well, but the water flush was not working. Nobody came to repair even after complaining twice and there was no discount due to that given at the end. No daily room service. Not all of the staff were...

We planned to stay in Trivandrum for 3 nights or so as part of a 3 week trip around Kerala. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by an unhelpful and unwelcoming young desk man. He was reluctant to answer questions about the price of the hotel and seemed exasperated when we wanted to check the room and...

“We compared two rooms: A/C room and non A/C room, the size was the same, so if you do not mind the heat, take the non a/c room as it is half of the price. Rooms have no nice view - at least the ones we saw.”
