rooms are quite dull; back side of rooms is always open to jungle type dense garden - which is bit insecured to stay. room door locks should be checked before you book a room, food availability should be checked too. 2km from tiger reserve forest gate Dal and rice is good food for dinner

We went a very interesting round-trip and we were a voucher to an other hotel in Thekkady, but the road was closed. So, we get an option here and we accepted it. It was a very good decision. The place is very interesting with a lovely little garden. The rooms and their terraces are very good. Comfortable the bed. Everything...

We stayed at Chrissie's for 2 nights in April. From the moment we arrived, Chrissie's was fantastic. The staff organized absolutely everything we needed during our stay - from a tuktuk to Periyar, to tickets to a martial arts show, and even Ayurvedic appointments in town. The food in the restaurant was fresh and delicious. The rooms are not air-conditioned,...

An excellent place to stay with family, it's surrounded by tall trees, has a very good view. Has WiFi in all rooms, restaurant has limited menu but everything is freshly prepared and tasty. Monkey menace is quite prominent so keep your doors and windows locked. But all hotels in thekkady have this problem. Very close to city centre. MR AAHRON,...

This was our two night stop-over after a 17k climb into the hills! Very nice rooms, set on a hillside so plenty of steps to your room. Watch out for the monkeys - in the trees outside the rooms. We were told not to give them an excuse to come in!! Food was very good and staff very accommodating. Local...

The hotel is located at walkable distance from the main market but still quiet place. Reception was excellent by the owner himself Mr Adel. Very cheerful and helpful personality. Rooms have front and back balcony surrounded by trees on which monkeys squirrels and birds were easily spotted. They arranged for our local sight seeing even at eleventh hour. The most...
