Old, refurbished building on Princess Street, near shops, restaurants, cafes and the waterfront. Room was up a spiral staircase (maybe a problem for some) but it was large with wide-board wooden floors, and nicely furnished with antiques and a very comfortable four-poster bed with mosquito netting. The bathroom was roomy with a large, separate shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and...

I loved this hotel. I like older hotels, and bonus, we were upgraded into a honeymoon suite-type room that just epitomized antique charm. Our room had gorgeous vintage furniture and huge windows overlooking Princess St. It was a cool, comfortable place to sit and watch the world go by. The staff was excellent. I loved the cheerful housekeepers. The hotel...

A sympathetically not over-restored hotel. A lovely large room, quite dark which helped hide a few flaws. Beautiful old floor boards but noisy if you have a heavy footed person staying in the room above you. It was also quite noisy having a front room but I recommend this hotel for its charm and great location.

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your feedback. We will look into the lighting which you mentioned above. Unfortunately, most city hotels are a little noisy especially during the day. Sincerely, Manager

Hotel is ok for the price - situated in the middle of tourist Fort Kochi. Facilities are pretty basic but this is reflected in the price. Customer service was diabolical. Arrived with my mother. There was no help with getting luggage up the stairs. No breakfast was provided within Room charge and wifi reception was bad in the room. The...

Dear Sir, Thank you for your feedback. Breakfast is not inclusive of room rate unless its booked directly through our website. Also, Wifi is specified to common areas esp the courtyard area due to architectural design of the building which blocks wifi in certain area. Luggage service is limited to senior citizens and women only, with limits to weight. This...

The Old Courtyard is a lovely, old Jewish home, beautifully restored. Centrally located in Fort Kochi, it was walking distance to most of the venues of the Kochi Biennale. Comfortable rooms, courteous staff, a gelato outlet to cool off on a hot afternoon. Highly recommended.

We only had enough time to spend one night here and our check in was quite late. Our room was beautiful and the bed was very comfy. The hotel is a short walk from the beach and Chinese fishing nets. I highly recommend the hotel and will stay here again.

A classic old Portuguese villa transformed into a character filled hotel with charm, elegance and grace. Reasonably priced, with a real olde world feel. Staff were just as charming and the facilities were what they said on the label. Comfortable, charming and very, very enjoyable.

This small hotel in the centre of Fort Cochin is full of character and charm. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the room (number 3) is large and comfortable with antique furniture and polished hardwood floor. However, the electrics seemed very old and lighting was rather dim. A light switch in the bathroom was defective but was soon replaced....

We stayed there a night to visit the Kochi biennale . Its just walking distance to all the venues. On the negative side no parking is available but you can leave the car in the street...seemed pretty safe. The seashore and the promenade is very close and you can enjoy the short walk to the beach in the evenings and...

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your feedback. We are happy to know that you enjoyed your stay with us. Indeed as most of small hotels in Fort Cochin, parking is indicated as street parking only. However, with the tourist police and local police everywhere, it is indeed very safe. We are also glad that you enjoyed our Cafe, Gelato and...

Ideal location for exploring Fort Cochin. We had the 'superior room' which was a deliciously cool retreat after a day in the heat of the town. Very friendly and helpful staff who booked restaurant reservations and explained the intricacies of the Indian Railway system (which came in very handy on our next leg). We had an early departure on our...
