The place is beautiful in a quaint way with a colonial feel, and the outside restaurant where we had our breakfasts is ideally located by the sea, with a unique view on the harbour. The rooms are average. The service hélas is poor, it spoiled it for us. Besides the street is really noisy.

An excellent pit stop for two nights in Fort Kochi, smack-bang in the middle of the action, but an oasis from the bustle outside. Excellent value for money, prime location, delicious food and vast breakfasts in the waterside restaurant. The courtyard is tremendously pretty, rooms (especially on the first floor) were very comfortable and clean, luxurious at that price, and...

Due to an airline problem we arrived 24 hours late without some luggage. We immediately felt at home at Fort House and they could not have been kinder or more helpful. Nisha was on hand to advise us where to shop for essentials, what to see, to arrange a driver to take us on our journey and to help us...

We arrived after dark to the gardens being lit by beautiful lanterns guiding us to our first floor room. First impressions were very good. Had dinner on the small hotel jetty in the warm evening air - delicious food - who knew that there could be quite so many different taste variations of fish 'curry'! The hotel is very close...

Fort House Hotel. Loved it, loved it, loved it!! This hotel is a little paradise amongst the crazy tourist world of Fort Kochi. It is so peaceful once you step through the entrance to the hotel, with a beautiful lush green central courtyard which is beautifully lit at night. I loved the spacious rooms, gorgeous cleverly designed bathroom, and also...

A meticulously neat tropical courtyard garden flanked by rooms on either side. A winding pathway leads to a gateway. Step through and your harbourside. A small jetty lined with tables juts into the harbour. This is the restaurant. It's hot but a cool breeze blows from the harbour. The working port is in front of you, while alongside the verdant...

We had jumbo grilled prawns and fish fry and pasta. Both seafood dishes were lip smacking .pasta was ordinary although freshly prepared. And mango lassi was awesome especially to beat the heat. Ended the whole meal with...

We stayed at Fort House Kochi as part of a package trip round Kerala in October 2016, and found it to be a great first stop to our trip. Rooms were clean, rustic and wel appointed and the courtyard was full of beautiful greenery. The restaurant on the jetty served tasty dishes from a variety of cuisines, and provided a...
