This is a small oasis in the old town of Cochin. It has beautiful decor, terrific staff and a nice restaurant attached. There is live local music at night and a pool. I only stayed one night as I was passing through but wish I had another night to enjoy.

This lovely heritage hotel has been beautifully maintained and very tastefully decorated. There are so many delightful touches but most importantly the staff are lovely. We would like to thank Harris and the team for making our stay in Fort Cochin so memorable.

What a magical place to stay and take in the sights, sounds and flavours of Fort Kochi. Malabar House is like coming home. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and valued. Our every need was met with with care and sincerity and we were genuinely sorry to be leaving at the end of our stay. There is definitely...

Solo - wanting a pleasant and secure environment for a glass of pre dinner wine. Helped to feel welcomed and comfortable by Arun Joy who showed me to the bar and explained in English with thought and care, about the demonetisation and requirement to pay with credit card. He settled me in and the Indian wine (white) was for my...

Very nice boutique hotel brimming with character and art work. Staff wonderful lovely Christina in the restaurant was so helpful. It appears that a lot of people not staying at the hotel appear for dinner so obviously has a great reputation. Really enjoyed our stay here

A great location for exploring Cochin. The staff were great and the food amazing! The only negative was that our room was very dark and being next to the pool it was a little noisy at night time. However, we loved the feel of the hotel and the fact that it had a bar for that important cooling beer.

Hello! We're very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us! Our location is indeed privileged and our staff takes great pleasure in sharing the beautiful neighborhood with guests. We apologize if noises from other enthusiastic guests were an inconvenience, that same urban location that puts us in the middle of colorful Fort Kochi also makes space at a premium....

Malabar House is a warm, stylish oasis in a restored colonial building in the middle of the beautiful old town of Cochin. The hotel is beautifully laid out and decorated with both contemporary and antique art. The staff were like family. Harris at reception was a huge help getting us settled into the hotel and oriented to the city. Tahsni,...

We had a wonderful greeting by all the staff. The 2 suites adjacent to each other were ideal for my 3 adult daughters and me. Malabar House is perfectly situated in the small town of Fort Kochi, - a short stroll to the shopping area. The inhouse restaurants were excellent. Having taken the ferry across to the main busting city...

On our first family trip to India we choose Kerala as our destination of discovery. Our family are young (aged 3 5 7 8) and hence we needed an organised itinerary where safety and comfort go hand in hand with adventure. It's as if Malabar Escapes was designed for us; weaving several unique keralan backdrops together with beautiful and equally...
